Gen speed arent even the problem
So people say that gen speed should be increased but I disagree since they are not the problem. Its maps and other small things.
Some Maps are too big and for some reason, they don't make maps smaller with the new reworked maps, for example, disturbed ward. that map is so bad for killers since it's so big and every gen has a damn restraining order against each other. they really need to decrease all the map sizes to at most the size of Ironworks of misery.
also, survivors should not spawn apart from each other that's just doing their own job for them. which is spreading apart on gens
I'm not sure what else if you want to tell what else could be changed go ahead

No, I think you’re right. Gen spread, density of structures and survivor spawn points are the biggest issues and they’re all influenced by RNG.
I actually don’t think raw map size is the problem, since for example Shelter Woods is much larger than any of the Badham variants but I would pick Shelter Woods over Badham every single time as killer. It’s how spread the gens are and how easy they are to patrol.
i think its more RNG on loops like you said
and how far apart gens are
since shelter woods is like the 2nd biggest map but it doesn't feel that way since the genes arent spread so far apart
Some maps are too big, some maps have too many completely safe pallets, some maps have tiles that create ridiculous loops, some maps have specific buildings that are too strong, all of which combined result in massive wastes of a killers time, yes.
Maps should be smaller, loops should be more frequent, but mindgameable, resulting in the removal of bad survivors wasting a ton of a killers time with no real punishment to their teammates by holding ShiftW or just pre-dropping pallets, and killers with insane mobility or specific perks should then be tuned appropriately, as well as any survivor perks.
True, I have said this before. Gen speeds are fine, the reason that they apparently get done so quickly is because of terrible map design, weak killers, and perks.
A killer like pig doesn't have much to help her in a chase, meaning her chases are long which allow gens to be done without interruption around the map. This is especially hurtful to just about everyone on a map such as mother's dwelling.
Now look at Blight for example of a strong killer and how gen speeds are for him. His power can end chases quickly, and he has a strong form of map pressure (his speed). His chase potential can actually do something on most tiles compared to pig.
Then you have perks. Survivors are always going to have an advantage when using perks since they can all stack on 4 different survivors. This can either really hurt an already weak killer or make it just a little harder. Dead hard against pig is extremely powerful and pretty unfair honestly.
