What if Demo had an add-on like Billy's Lopros chains?
Just incase nobody knows what Lopros Chains is, this add-on allows Billy to break through a breakable wall or pallet and continue the sprint, but you only hurt the survivor for 1 health state after for 4 seconds
Now then, what if Demo had this as an add-on for shred? Would it be strong, weak, or balanced? what rarity should it be? should it have a downside, and if so what should it be?

He already damages survivor for 1 health state
Thats why I didn't add in what the add-ons downside was, cause he is keeping the health state damage but the add-on for demo could be given several different downsides
It would probably be a bit too strong to be honest. It’s kinda like bubba having a lopro chain
I could see that issue, hence why a downside might have to be insured with it (However just remember a shredded pallet recovery is slightly longer than a normal pallet break)
It would have to increase the charge time on his lunge. Otherwise every pallet would be a hit.
Most likely due to demo being a straight line compared to billy who is slower and pauses when hitting the pallet just incase he needs to recover from it to land the hit
Maybe it would be balanced if it only allowed fully charged Shreds to break trough pallets, a non fully charged shred will just break the pallet like it currently does. I'd imagine that you'd be able to dodge the hit if this Add-on existed since the effect takes only place when the shred is fully charged.
Hard to believe people want Billy's addons added to other killers and not the other way around lol
hi, demo main input here!
knowing the properties of shred (damaging 1 health state, capable of destroying pallets and breakable walls, capable of sending demogorgon flying off of platforms, the speed of which shred allows you to move and recover can be altered through addons), shred itself is a pretty powerful honing and herding tool, and that's really it should all be used for, it's not exactly built to serve any other purpose.
using shred on pallets or breakable walls is not ideal because of this-- shred on any of these objects causes demogorgon a slightly longer stun time than normally breaking these objects through manual input, and it's for good reason. shred is only meant to be an option for things of long range that have significant value to the killer, whether it's speed and distance, or landing a hit and preserving tokens for addons. (if you use shred for pallets and walls tho, no judging! i do it too, it just costs you x)!!)
from character perspective, it also wouldn't just make sense for demogorgon to fly through walls like he did have a chainsaw; he has claws, so he needs to use them! picture a demogorgon bulldozing through a wall like its swiss cheese, it's almost cartoonish. LOL
also, taking pathway maps into consideration ('lli call gideon's an example pathway map because you're able to make your own route with these breakable walls and enforce it.), tightly knit corners, etc., it would be extremely disorienting and hard to get demo back on track since he's going to continue to fly through the wall with no stun. this would cause him to fly further than intended, and is harmful on maps that have jungle gyms or tight corners past a doorway, is a pathway map, etc. (like gideon's, dead dawg saloon, etc.).
you're also making this a little busted at the same time in a survivor encounter, because if we were to apply these properties, demogorgon would be able to fly from pallet-to wall-to pallet and always guarantee a hit due to how quickly shred is able to recover at base. it'd be significantly worse had the demogorgon using this addon also have a shred cooldown addon too (if we're ignoring pallet stuns). the survivor would be downed in about one two seconds from full health.
overall, a change like this would heavily affect muscle memory for the demogorgon's shred and coordination, cause bad habits, and also would spell awful for the survivor who happens to bump into him. :'(
I actually think this would be weak. Think about it.
-You shred through the pallet.
-You continue past it.
-You run into a wall and get stunned.
It would get you a hit every now and then, but would only be a factor if the survivor is vaulting the pallet or standing behind it.
