Killer speed whilst carrying
Just had a killer (Wraith) down someone, pick them up & chase the others down whilst that survivor was on their shoulder. A bit unfortunate the survivor was letting the killer do it, but the question....
Should the killer be able to keep up with a survivor sprinting in a straight line in that scenario when they have no perk, power or add-on which boosts their speed?
Comments
Uh, killers are slower than survivors while carrying.
That Wraith was probably running Agitation.
Like I said in the original post. No boost in play.
So no agitation
Then the Wraith was hacking or the survivors he was hitting were just not running away or something.
I'm not sure of the exact numbers, but I'm pretty sure when killers are carrying survivors they move at around 96% speed, and survivors (while running) move at 100% speed.
According to the wiki killers move at 92% speed when carrying so, yeah.. no way a survivor is getting hit running in a straight line without hacks.
Thanks for the correct numbers mate.
Sometimes survivors have very, very bad pathing when running from you while you're carrying someone. It could just be that that survivor was bad at pathing and allowed themselves to get hit. It happens a lot more than you'd think, and some survivors even let themselves get hit twice from it...
If no agitation, and you're completely sure the survivor did not mess up their pathing, then it could be a hacker.
