The worst chapter?

New killer is inconsistent, only in an open loop(no walls) is decent. laceration reset to 0....

No new map, no reworked map

New survivor perk for sprint is ok but There is a problem, new bug(stun is delete or not start and wifi hit for try to stun)

  • Someone forgets darkness among us

  • I only regard Binding of Kin as a worse chapter because The Twin's power (and perks) were literally broken and unusable.

At least Trickster technically works. This is still a garbage chapter though, since it is really the Killer's potential that makes a Chapter.

Yeah but the issues were unintentional and/or just bugs. The devs intentionally released him believing he's okay and not bottom tier trash.

The Dev's knew exactly what bugs The Twins had, since it was all recorded and feedbacked in the PTB. Go back and read the "Known Issues" for Binding of Kin release and have a laugh.

The point is they still released it. That is why I bring it up. They do not care if they content if broken, boring or middle of the road.

They hype it up, cash in on sales, and fix it "eventually".

  • If we only look at the killers and their power then yes

  • Binding of Kin was the worst no doubt.

The last most "hyped" original chapter would be Chains of Hate.

Descend Beyond was pretty normal. Plain scary killer chapter.

All Kill was kind of fresh, but is terribly executed.

  • Oh honey, remember SAW? Darkness Among Us?

We got Pig (Even I can't say she's good), Tapp (Nobody can say he's good) and The Game. Then, Legion (OLD legion), Jeff (He's hot but bad), and old Ormond (No explanation necessary)

  • Not at all, for once most of the perks are usable in both sides, which is rare enough already.

Didn't you see binding of kin? now that was horrendous

  • Not really, the Killer seems weak but his perks are decent, the Survivor perks are meh (usually they are trash), as far as I know there hasnt been any game breaking bug and the Killer doesnt have infuriating gameplay oversights like Twins mass slug, old Legion or CamperHead camping cages.

The worthiness of a chapter is not based only on having a strong Killer, stuff like decent perks, no bugs and no gameplay oversights also add.

As examples, Legion and Twins chapters broke the game and introduced a Killer that made people want to ragequit, Oni chapter introduced a bug that made people hooked on the basement unable to play after the unhook.

  • Nope, it's one of the best chapters released once some buffs roll in for Trickster as it'll be perfect then.

Well, I do want a map for Trickster down the road, but that's more so the map update program more so than the actual chapter's problem.
