Fair Borrowed Time Rework For Both Sides:
Fair BT REWORK:
Borrowed Time is active as long the survivor is healthy and for 3 sec after being injured, Borrowed Time effect lasts for 10/12/15 sec and transfers the damage done from the unhooked person to the rescuer by applying the Deep Wound status effect to the rescuer.
This will still give BT the true anitunneling effect by protecting the unhooked person but will prevent the unpunished body blocking by alteast transfering the damage. It will prevent the BT train when every unhooked survivor runs to the next hook to unhook the next one because they are injured and their BT deactivates BUT it is still preventing hard camping because BT is active for 3 sec after being injured.
Comments
My problem with Borrowed Time is where are they borrowing it from? They don't have to earn it; it just works regardless of the killer camping or not. The perk should be token-based and should require the killer being close to the hook for stacks to be gained.
Until then, the killer can hook a survivor, walk halfway across the map, find a survivor, chase them all the way to the hook, and survivors can exploit the "hey, you're a camper, get punished, lul..." garbage.
That said, I would be happy with your proposed change. Better than the live version.
it doesnt need a rework. you can just go for the savior
I just think for the duration they have BT on them, the unhooked survivor has no collision but can't do objectives
BT is fine. I understand people wanting a DS nerf/rework and I am in favor of that too because current DS is stupid but as a killer and survivor BT is not too powerful. The person coming off of the hook is incredibly vulnerable when the killer is camping and they don't even get a chance to move before they can get downed again. More survivors need to run BT because it's one of the few great perks that aren't too overpowered.
Lies!
The unhooked survivor body blocks
havent thought of that
you can just follow right behind them for x amount of seconds and then down them again. if someone does that, punish them. it's so simple.
the only change bt needs is to make it range based vs. terror radius.
but you cannot pick them up because of Decisive Shield (even after the coming nerf, because Protection Hit does not count as unhooking/healing)
Bodyblocking garbage needs to be addressed
Wait... is this sarcasm? Because I literally wrote down the problem and the reason for the change.
Not my job to teach the survivors how to behave and downing them after 15seconds does not remove their DS.
The range change is a good change, so killer cant ignore it. But what I suggested is mandatory to prevent a "scummy" way of abusing the invincibility.
sorry, i tend to rush forum posts and usually dont read all of it if its too long
i mean if you continually take the bait and hit them and let them go then you're teaching them that it's okay and it's a strat that works. maybe you do what i suggest to a guy and he realizes "oh ######### that was dumb. wont' be doing that again."
also are you incapable of leaving them on the ground if you're scared of eating a ds or what? let me guess what you'll say here:
"b-b-but but but what if they have unbreakable!!!"
okay then they spend time on the ground and use their unbreakable. that's time spent not on a gen. or if they don't have unbreakable then another survivor has to get off of a gen and come get them and that's two people not on gens + the person you're chasing, assuming you're in a chase and all 4 survivors are still alive. this is also assuming they have unbreakable, which is really not THAT common.
What are you talking about? Do you have a monologe with yourself?
By your aggressive and arrogant style of writing I already see that you are a stubborn person who fears that his perk is next that get nerfed and I dont have time or energy to discuss with the kinds of you. Just know this: I am disagree with everything you said and dont want to discuss with you because its wasted time.
i don't even use borrowed time i'm a selfish solo player lmao and when i play killer i don't mind it. get good.
if you want make it a transfer damage perks, should do it without the wound effect, example
rescuer is injured and the unhooked guy take a hit, the rescuer go down
My guy! did you read the perk? NO! The first sentence answers your complain! Read it again.
