1st video. Nightmare hit me and just ignore me and hook (bodyblock dont work)
2nd video. Legion hit me but still cant move to my location for hook survivor (bodyblock working). After hit legion tries move to me, but cant. you really cant see this?
Legion never tried to hook after the first hit. Him not doing it, doesnt make it impossible. Like i said i did it before the patch. So it has atleast nothing to do with the current patch. Everybody knows that you lose collision after a hit. Thats why a survivor can escape after the first hit when he gets bodyblocked. Why do you think its different at the hook?
I know you have probably many hours, too, but that doesnt mean you know everything. Some things only work, bc the killer doesnt know how to counter it. I needed to explain to a 3000h survivor why ds stun head-on combo doesnt work against a killer who knows what he does.
This is fine with me. Bodyblocking hooks is typically only used by SWF and they could use a nerf or two. I play solo survivor and no-one ever tries to body block hooks for me.
I do it sometimes, depending on the situation, if the guy is on deadhook and my have the chance to wiggle free, and i play only solo. But usually, i dont do it on the first hook or something.
And i dont think its toxic either, but i am also ok with camping, tunneling and slugging.
Years ago, killers could body block the hook. Making it impossible for survivors to unhook. Because the "hold m1 to unhook" prompt wouldn´t show up. Just like it doesn´t show up, when survivors body block the hook.
It was removed for killers. Why wasn´t it also removed for survivors? That would have been fair, because body blocking the hook is horrible for both sides.
Because unlike killers body blocking the hook, the survivor variant is actually counterable. Funnily enough, bodyblocking tends to be more beneficial to the killer than it does to the survivors.
A killer can hit a survivor out of the way or drop the survivor. A survivor couldn't save against a bodyblocking killer or get them out of the way.

As I already said, killer blocking the hook was terrible. But why wasn't survivors blocking the hook removed?
Saying that the killer could just drop the survivor (would break free, because the devs reduced the amount of times a survivor can be dropped, back when dribbling was a thing) or hit the survivors would lead to the same outcome.

So where is this fair?
Usually to break a survivor free it requires multiple hits. If a team is sitting under a hook all taking hits that benefits you. It hurts the survivors more to do that because they're not on gens, and you're getting free hits.
If you drop, it still benefits you. You get a slug. If you drop temporarily and hit them away, it was 33% of their wiggle bar, so you would still have 2 more chances to hook. Hooks tend to be relatively close as well so even if you did drop, usually it would still result in a hook if you played the situation correctly.
Bodyblocking to free a survivor was and still is entirely counterable and niche act of altruism that actually requires teamwork and good decisions. The killer variant on the other hand was literally uncounterable and the survivors had no way to do anything.

They aren't equal.
Survivors can sabo the closest hook then body block the next one. When the gates are powered, it's a guaranteed escape. This also renders Blood Warden useless.
It was like that before patch too. You lose collision with the killer while in the post-hit speedboost state. There are many problems with this patch, but this aint one of them.
THis that is why another survivor usually pushes in after to try and keep it up.

Because the first one makes a rescue impossible. The second doesn't make a hook impossible. Hit the body blocking survivor and hook the other.
when you lose collision the killer can hook so you can only take 1 hit under the hook due to how long you lose collision for, just take a hit earlier then run under the hook using the speedburst and by the time the killer makes it there you will have collision again
Still, 3 gens left and they're trying to deny the killer a hook...kinda poor sport
Probably because he's already tunneled that poor person and now they're on death hook. With three generators left and no one else hooked, so it definitely makes sense to have allies that are trying to help you in that situation. I wouldn't be surprised if the killer circumvented DS by leaving the person slugged or if the person was good enough to have a chase that exceeded 60 seconds.
While they all run towards the powered gate and you can watch how they teabag.
Maybe you just need to play different game if you hate survivors that much. You can use mad grit if you hate bodyblock but you refuse to use it so my suggestion is ADAPT

If that many survivors are alive to all body block a hook in end game, you should be worrying about how you let that many be alive past 5 gens, not the body blocking.
But, even in your scenario, sabo'd hooks come back extremely quickly, and dropping only does 1/4th of their wiggle bar. Drop them once, force the others out, and get the slugged survivor. 75% of a wiggle bar is almost always plenty enough time to hook a survivor.
Like I said before, a niche tactic that is typically countered easily if you just play it correctly.

Yes, its niche. No, i don´t see it very often. Yes, i adapted my playstyle accordingly. But thats not the point. The point was, how is body blocking still a thing? It shouldn´t work for killers nor for survivors. Why was the swivel hook only introduced for survivors but not for killers? Why make a mechanic, that works around the same object, completely one sided?

Swivel hook was implemented at the same time as Killer's suctioning into the hook animation from a distance.
Okay sorry but I don't get the video... This was always like this... First hit and then the collision there survivors are gone. Nothing changed and also...not the best idea to just sit on one place
Why? Because running a endgame strat that focuses on players getting max points and survival time (aka no tunneling) is bad?
No, I say this because alot of the time those builds don't end up working out. Bloodwarden can and the like can be a game changer. But more often it's a wasted perk slot.

Doing that not always work. It depends on where are you positioning and ping. In the vid it dosn't look like you were in the right spot.
That was always there to prevent bodyblocking.
If you get hit by the killer you can run straight through him and visa versa.
If that didn't happen and you were in a corner, he could block you and down you without getting a chance to get away after the first hit

"Survivors cant kill the killer. So why should killers be able to kill survivors?
Whataboutism does not suit you well.
I love to see it. Crouching in front of the hook should always be pointless and stupid, just as it would be in real life.
This is nothing new. Been in the game for ages now.
I give you a hint. It's in the name.

they finally nerfed survivors for once, the hitboxes are overtweaked though

They didn't break it, when the killer hits you you can phase through them and they can phase through you, it was like that before too.
Because the first one makes a rescue impossible. The second doesn't make a hook impossible. Hit the body blocking survivor and hook the other.
When enough survivors are body blocking, then the hook becomes impossible.
Killer can body block.
Killer can also, you know, beat the crap our of a survivor going for the hook.
In which case the entire time is injured and you can start slugging.
Thats just how bodyblock works

Like survivors adapted with Undying? Sure!

Man you got hit, collision with the killer are disabled for 3 seconds when you get hit
You are just bad, don't know the game enough and should stop complaining about something that has been like that since almost the beginning
At which point you've already lost. Lack of body blocking won't matter in that scenario since you'll at best pull a 1k.
Swivel hook was implemented at the same time as Killer's suctioning into the hook animation from a distance.
Your arguments wreak of bias.
Unless i played for a Blood Warden with progressed EGC. Then this could make the difference between a 1k and a 4k.
How is wanting equallity for both sides being biased? O_o
This isnt a bug
You lose collision with the killer when hit so he went through you.
At which point you were already running a strat with a high chance of not paying off.
Why? Because running a endgame strat that focuses on players getting max points and survival time (aka no tunneling) is bad?
