Flip Flop buff

I know this perk is getting popular now with the recent perk power struggle. But I feel after this update Flip flop will still never be used so here’s my proposed changes to the perk.

While in the Dying state 95% of your recovery progression is converted to wiggle progression up to a maximum of 95% total wiggle progression. When you wiggle out of the killers grasp, Break into a sprint at 150% of your normal running speed for a maximum of 3 seconds.

causes the exhaustion effect for 60/50/40 seconds. Flip flop cannot trigger the sprint while exhausted.(DS and any perk or item that stuns the killer and drops the survivor will not trigger the sprint). Thoughts?

  • Doesn't that effectively make it Unbreakable with unlimited uses?

  • Sounds like unlimited unbreakable that gives you 18m headstart, all with one perk.

  • So, permanent DS UB without any prerequisites?

Not really the killer could just pick them up and negate the whole perk. With DS you could take the stun if the game is going slow. Remember even with this buff the perk will still be situational cause sometimes the killer will never slug.

    Prerequisites? What does that mean?

I didn't say anything about DS. I said this is similar to Unbreakable.

Not really UB allows you to recover faster and get up from the dying state. Flip flop(my version) doesn’t have that buff you recover at regular speed and your perk is in the killers control if he decides to pick you up or not.

I see what you mean. One crucial difference is the killer decides when the survivor gets off of your grasp. But I'm concerned that it'll make slugging the go-to strategy. A good killer will read into this and will let the survivor bleed out instead of picking him up and letting him go and chasing and downing again and risk giving him the hatch.

Here's the thing: Like Unbreakable, this essentially gives you the opportunity to deny the Killer a chance to pick you up if left slugged for too long. Granted, unlike Unbreakable, you can't just pick yourself off the ground. But once you hit 95, that Killer pretty much cannot pick you up without letting you wiggle free. At that point, it is very comparable to Unbreakable.
