Why don't the community make a petition?
In order to settle the issues a lot of people are concerned with i feel that a petition can be good to help the devs take problems the community are having seriously. But I in order to make an effective petition it has to be for a problem that a majority of players see is a problem. This is includes both killers and survivors.
First the community (both killers and survivors) has to come to a consensus on a big problem.
Then have people on the forum sign there name on a post that is ment to be a post that is a petition.
The point of this should be to bring awareness to issues the devs might not see as important or not a problem according to them.

Performance & bugs. In short, gameplay health.
Because you'd just get loud voices being the only ones being heard.
I disagree. A petition would make everyone's voice equally heard provided if they agree with the subject they are petitioning for. Remember to be effective a large majority of the community has to agree to the problem.
Petitions are very rarely taken seriously.
Not Otzdarva did a similar thing with the community made patch, however the devs have not responded as expected, or at least not yet. Right now we just have to hope they do.
*remembers area 51*
if the government took a petition seriously i doubt bhvr won't
well for the case of DBD we won't know until we try.
you mean the dude who steals otz's content?
lol
That would mean the community has to agree on something
The area 51 petition was people going to take action on a government base. They HAD to take it seriously.
How many millions of petitions have been ignored or dismissed for every one that actually works?
And if we make a petition like we leave the game if you don't fix the game then they will have to listen too
actually from what I have researched they can be effective in helping raise awareness for certain issues.
But awareness leads to taking action.
