Imagine thinking Ruin+Undying is too strong

You waste 2 perk slots for extended ruin.

Ruin isn't even good in itself if you play somewhat decent as survivor.

  • I think it is less "too strong" and more interferes with trolling the killer into loop-chases and forcing them to have to pay attention to a secondary objective and their own safety while doing that objective instead of 'casually' doing bones as they come across them.

It upset their natural balance of how they 'relax' and play the game.

  • Survivors just want to find a "smol pp build" for killers.

  • It´s a decent combo that might not do anything at all. Way too op /s

No but seriously, if a Killer with good map pressure (like 3 or 4 out of 21) runs this it forces survivors to actually pay attention to totems.

Expect a nerf in the midchapter patch. Propably something along the lines of: "While we are mostly happy with how Undying pairs with other Hexes, it is overperforming when combined with ruin. We implemented a unique mechanic to prevent perk combos we deem too strong and unfun for the other side. We currently do not see the need to implement this for Survivor perks".

I pitty Survivor mains. If only there were tools to either help with or benefit from totems!

  • I get quite a few who seem upset when they see I've been running Undying, Thrill of the Hunt, and Ruin together. :)

  • Ruin, undying, tinkerer, bbq is the so called copy and past micro pp build.. lol

People always jump on one line from the ruin change, and ignore the other 2 parts of it

Predictions for combos that would be nerfed/banned:

Ruin + Surveillance. (Too much tracking)

NOED + Blood Warden (Too good in endgame)

Enduring + Spirit Fury (Lets you ignore a pallet stun)

Unnerving Presence + overcharge (No more 3-gen doc)

It sure is funny but we can´t be sure whether that might actually come I´m afraid^^
