Quick tip to counter Corrupted Intervention

You know survivors, your time on the map until EGC is unlimited, so unless it's hag why not just trying to hide for 2 minutes? so you wait for the further gens to open up again and then you surprise the killer with a really fast gen rush.

  • This is some pretty sound advice. Don't try to go for the unblocked gens either. It's a trick to get you into a chase with the killer. Stay off the gens for as long as you can!

exactly, no reason not to do so. If not 3 genning yourself really easily

Not if the killer has Whispers or you're facing the Doctor. And if any killer happens to find just one of you and they have infectious fright, than you can kiss your hiding spots goodbye

well these are just exceptions. Doctor is not competitive at all (no map pressure, just an ability to end chases fast, and not on all pallets), neither whispers is ( I'm sorry oh tofu's fans, but you need to stop gens, and whispers most times is just a waste)

  • Please tell me this is a joke thread, cuz if so nice, if not, why?

  • So basically walk around doing nothing for two minutes? Yeah, sorry but I prefer my gameplay to be fun and interactive, not mind-numbingly boring.

Whispers is pretty meta on higher level players. It's not quite BBQ or Pop meta but it still sees a lot of play. I do agree though in just hiding through corrupt depending on the killer. If no one gets caught in the two minutes it becomes a wasted perk. It is rather boring though.

That said it's not only Doctor but Hag and Trapper as well. You don't want to give them extra time to set up. Somewhat with Demo as well but it's not as major with him.

fun is relative, this works objectively

nope, I am not joking, just spreading some knowledge

  • I am just going to go now and re-think this

Overrated meta, especially when someone is hooked and can't tell whether it's him or someone else

  • As a killer main who uses this perk, this would be sound advice if not for the fact that my thought process is usually checking the unblocked gens first, then the blocked gens and then finally searching for survivors.

  • This is why I never run it. Waste of a perk slot, in my opinion.

  • Depends on which killer you go against. If it's a trapper or a hag then it's a bad idea.
