My two cents on the whole Springtrap thing
i find it highly amusing that one of the main arguements against Springtrap being in Dead By Daylight is that he's from a kid's game, FNAF is many things, a series for children is not one of them
1.The first game, Animatronics possessed by the souls of dead children, if they catch you, they stuff you into a suit, where you die a horrible death
2.The second game, The Bite of 87, where a child's FRONTAL LOBE was bitten off by a haywire animatronic
3.The third game, Springtrap is a murderer who targets and EXPERIMENTS ON children, and now he is doomed to walk around in a spring lock suit, trapped in a coffin of eternal pain and anguish, doomed to never die
4.The fourth game, the Nightmare animatronics, enough said
If the FNAF series is a children's series then I can fly and shoot lasers out my eyes
Comments
It's a kids game. Plenty of childrens things have dark themes, most of it flies over children's heads while they still enjoy the series. The main audience for FNAF has always been preteens and there's no denying it.
not that your wrong, but given the series' entire shtick i highly doubt a large amount of children play the games
Just forget, the hype has died and the petition has gathered ~46k and isn't going to get much more.
Children do love FNAF, but it's absolutely not a children's game. I'd argue DBD is more of a children's game. It's friggin' hide-and-seek.
No you're right about that. The main audience for the entire franchise was like 5 people playing the game while uploading it to youtube where about a billion twelve year olds giggled every time they faked a scream.
touche
Let's also point out dbd is literally populated by kids so the argument Is invalid.
No. The people who want a FNAF chapter are the same kids that plague this game with toxicity.
see, the original games were for children as Scott didn't expect it to blow up this much and he just made them as a fun little game to play, but Scott is trying to shift the series away from that nowadays. regardless, thanks to it's explosion in popularity from a while back, it had gained plenty of young audience members which has given the community (and by extension the games) quite the reputation over the years as nothing but children
do I want a fnaf chapter? absolutely
is this claim valid in any way? debatable, though I believe it's not
the only way to get past this point is if we get our minds away from the Fnaf = children idea and see it as more of a series for teens, and lord knows that unfortunately that ain't happening soon
