What was this lol?

So i was camping with bubba (i know what are you thinking right now, but i do this when i get really rushed, for example before this match, i played trapper and did 1 hook with 1 gen left for no reason), i got 2 GENS LEFT and i managed to kill them all because altruism you know.

Then i saw this scoreboard and it was amazing:

Camping bubba ss.jpg

So everyone of them got 3-4k points with only 2 gens left? What happened? Lol

  • I'll see your weird point results and raise you a killer story:

Once I got a 4k and only had about 3,000(?) points. Explain that, scientists. 😎

  • They probably didn't do much if any coop action and, I guess, not many unhooks, because you were camping with Bubba.

1 gen solo is 1250 pts by repairs alone.

From there account for some skill checks, unhooks if any, some random altruism such as reunited and assists, some boldness, wiggle and some struggle.

Not hard to make almost no bloodpoints if they kamikaze'd.

By any chance did they all dc?

You didn’t chase anyone so they got no boldness, you forbade saves so they got no altruism. They didn’t escape and could only sit on gens so they get little points in any category except objective, which is stingy if you play smart and split up. Anyone at red ranks should know how the scoring system works so I’m surprised that you’re surprised by this scoreboard.

Probably because you slugged them and let them die on the ground.

They likely didn't get much of any points because you didn't let them do altruistic things like unhooking, or boldness from chases.

I often see people getting more than just 3000 points after being a while in the match. Like i said, i got 2 gens left, so the match didnt last 2 minutes. Im also surprised you use as an argument red ranks, when they dont even matter in this casual game, being in "red ranks" more bots than actually good players that deserve this "rank", if it does something.

  • Your build screams that you accidentally found yourself in a situation where your hand was forced, physically preventing you from doing anything but camp.

Those wicked survivors, rushing you despite all your hard efforts. I totally sympathise with you and what you did was justified. I'd say it could be considered that you stumbled upon an obscure tech able to deployed with bubba's chainsaw, and with a little ingenuity, used it to leverage the upper hand in an otherwise excruciatingly close match.

Nope, it'd be way more points than that if I were slugging.

I used to play legit with bubba (enduring + spirit fury, BBQ and another random perk) but now i only use him for camping, and i cant even get use of the blood warden so lmao.

  • No, but that's...kinda close? Maybe.

People get more than 3000 points when they have the opportunity to. Against an Insidious camping Leatherface, the opportunities to get bloodpoints are extremely limited. Cooperation, altruism and interaction with the killer are the best way for survivors to get points in this game and your playstyle prevented all three of those.

Yes, bad players get easily boosted to red ranks. You said it, not me. :)

I often see people escaping with 24-25k without having any interaction with the killer. This game rewards bad players that repair, hide and escape. Guess what the good players that want to play DBD receive? 8000 bloodpoints and MAYBE a ggwp from the killer.

The essence of the game is getting lost, which is being chased by the killer.

The thing is, survivors can easily get 10,000+ BP even if the killer does literally nothing. Just doing gens and escaping.

People just too stubborn to do that sometimes!

You get 5000 points for escaping so sure, you can get 10k in an AFK killer game. You won’t get 10k from an Insidious camper game where everyone dies though.

“The essence of this game is being chased by the killer”

    “I camp with Insidious Bubba”

??? If you want more chases, maybe camping isn’t the best way to go about it?

??? I only camped this game? Like i said, i only have a bubba game if i get really rushed in another match, like that trapper one.

I am glad i dont get rushed often, because i can do some 4ks with legion for example, or just having funny matches. I dont know you, but i dont like having 5 minutes matches because poor game's mechanics.

  • What's so hard to understand? Each did one generator and then they all tried to save.

    Have good time camping.

I never got bored in any of my bubba games, so yeah, good times. Theres nothing funnier than seeing the rest of survivors crouched near the hook like mushrooms waiting for something to happen. If we camp, its because it works. If camp was not efficient, no one would camp, but survivors refuse to counter this for a 1000 points hook save.
