Devs only care about new suvivors

Devs only care about suvivors since they wanna "appease new suvivors" hey devs what of us killers? Without killers suvivors will have to wait longer times for a match.... The killer will probly DC and uninstall the game since he or she is being gen rushed. Why don't you nerf adranailne too since there is no counter to it besides noed and no offence but in high ranks noed is good as gone and even if you manage to get it off either the suvivors message you calling you a noob for a crutch perk while they sit pretty with DS and adranailne... When I was knew it wasn't the perks that go me it was the camping and tunnling till I played killers side and found out some people deserve to be camped. Cause now thanks to the new ruin we were ll have no choice but to bring moris and tunnle

  • The title just isn't true, at all.

  • They don't realise that ruin allowed killers to play nice

They do. I am confident this is part of a larger change. I have faith in them.

  • I think you need to adapt and stop taking game so serious. It’s one perk (ruin) and people are acting like it’s end of world. Who cares? Honestly ruin never lasts anyway.

    What's a suvivor?

The true killers of dbd forever tormenting innocent tortured souls that were made to be violent by the entity nea

  • Fix the broken English and we'll make a hooker of you yet

Killers will still be able to "play nice" if anything ruin changes will decrease problems i think.

Killers will pressure more by leaving hooks/going for other survivors.

Not me. I'll just slug and down people straight of the hook

same could be said when DS was nerfed, Balanced landing was nerfed. etc.

Yeah I didn’t care about either of those. I adapted and moved on.

    Can you be non-confrontational?

The Devs don't just care about new Survivors. That is a naive and foolish statement made from anger and hurt over not being listened to.

thank you, that's all i wanted. not just a single sentence with no meaning.

It's true actually. I've never seen a game consider "new players" this intensely when it comes to balance. Usually games are like "Yeah you're a noob, you're gonna have to learn and get better." League of Legends actually advertises this way. They state outright in their ads that as a noob you'll get your face stomped in.

Of course new players are gonna struggle with simple concepts. They're new! That's doesn't mean you need to dumb everything down for them and then leave red rank killers out to dry.

Also, the way Ruin is currently before the change, allows me to play a little nicer. Now at Rank 1 I'm gonna have to tunnel or proxy camp a lot more than before and maybe even bring more moris before they nerf those too. Which is something I'm sure they didn't even consider. This new Ruin does absolutely nothing for killers that require set-up time like Trapper and Myers. This Ruin nerf is an indirect nerf to half the killer roster because most killers have bad mobility.

Games like dota its literally git gud they don't cater and that game has a huge obviously not the same genre but still. Or even a from software game like Sekiro or Bloodborne you get destroyed in those games but the dev respects player skill enough to not dumb down their game. Honestly with the ruin nerf reasoning its clear bhvr doesn't like the term git gud or even any kind of remotely challenging gameplay. The Last Year devs actually say git gud but bhvr nope we will dumd down those silly skill checks less hard than a Bloodborne boss :P

League may be one of the few community's more toxic than DBD.

  • Of course they care about new players, not necessarily just survivors, because new players are who they need to continuously bring in so that their game doesn't die. This game is seriously like crack from a psychological standpoint. It has its insane highs (escaping or getting that 4k) where you get a dopamine release and it's crazy lows where you get wrecked but you need to get that fix and just win one. It's like one of those toxic relationships you just can't quit even though you know its bad for you. If they can get new players hooked then they'll probably keep them despite the obvious, enormous issues with the game (such as people floating when trying to heal someone else, getting stuck on trees or in windows, not being able to pick someone up, the lag/latency and connection errors/issues, the matchmaking problems, the hitboxes, the nerfing/buffing, the lack of goals/rewards, the fact leveling is basically meaningless, the fact the survivors are identical in mechanics and are basically just skins, how some killers are so much better than others, etc - funny at first but annoying the 10th time and beyond). So pandering to new players is actually genius on their part because once their hooked they're probably not going anywhere and in the end people still paid for the game and will probably convince their friends to, too, because SWF is almost necessary in high ranks.
