dear mods, please remember that DBD is rated 18 years and over.

therefore the people using these boards are likely ( or are suppose to be) over 18


please stop running it like its for kids. its an adult game and adult language is expected. "bad word" is a bit much on a game designed for adults,

we are all here because we love DBD but remember it is rated 18 and over.

    Swearing is crude so i don't see an issue with censoring it. And of course there are bad words that -really- should be censored. I'm sure we can all think of a few.

    Nah, not feelin' it. It's fine right now. Cursing doesn't make you an adult. Being an adult makes you an adult.

    Just because you're 18+ doesn't mean cussing is automatically acceptable, and don't forget that not everyone wants to see that. The reason why we have a filter is because I don't think the moderators want to encourage causal cussing but keep in mind that not everything is blocked, just the extreme terms. 🤬

    The [BAD WORD] thing is just a lighthearted way of saying [CENSORED] or whatever "grown-up" phrase you would prefer. No one is talking down to you, and if you take offense at it that's on you, not the mods.

    The game is rated M (17+). That doesn't mean that the player has to be 17+ years old to play it, especially since you only need to be 13+ to own a Steam account, and steam family sharing is a thing.

    If it was like this, I would hear a lot less kids playing Grand Theft Auto V.

    People who are under the age of 18 may also come to the forums to find out about the game as well.

    Actually it does mean that the person would not beable to purchase the game under that age.

    Anyone who needs to use profanity to prove a point probably doesn't have anything intelligent to add to a conversation/debate. If someone can't sit down and have a calm debate/conversation over a video game, it's probably a waste of time to try.

    Like you said, we are adults, so perhaps act responsible and courteous to your fellow players/devs instead of cursing them out with persistent whining.
