did you pretend to bring old legion back?

  • They didn't think what they could do with the perk. Oh man that's hilarious that people are replicating the part where you'll bleed out mid chase.

im not impressed devs are lazy they do stuff without knowing their own game. im not impressed as i sayed

  • guys chill tf down. i have tried this build and it's not even as strong as you think it is. let alone that is it as abusive as the old legion. not even close guys. You have to purposely not break any pallets or hit the survivor normally to enable the bloodlust first. so you already wasted a lot of time. then you are undetectable for the remaining of the bloodlust. but you can't again break any pallets or being stunned or even hit someone because u will lose the effect ... and all that for just letting your precious survivor can bleed out.

let me tell you: ITS NOT WORHT IT!!!!

That's Beast of Pray. Nemesis is an entirely different perk and is FAR easier to use for this function

  • The legion screw you over build.

    Beast of Prey

    Nemesis

    Dark Devotion

    Thanataphobia

The issue is that individual survivor skill is negated, just like old Legion. Old Legion took awhile to down people as well, without Frank's Mixtape at least. They were still problematic for the game because the idea is that the survivor you're chasing will go down irregardless of their ability to succeed in a chase. As Scott Jund likes to put it, "you're basically just watching the Legion cutscene", even if that cutscene is a Kojima cutscene and most, if not all survivors end up escaping.

I'd wager this'll be addressed before or sometime after the patch goes live, along with Yui's voice, maybe Oni/some of Oni's add-ons, and so on. We've still got a few weeks.

Well Scotts going have to get off his Spirit crusade and go after Legion again.

  • People cry so much over a killer that isn't even good anymore. ######### sakes.

  • It's good but it isn't broken, it's just...a good perk for him.

ok that was my bad. but still it stands for that perk. nemisis is also conditionated the survivor must stun or blind you first to become the obsession. dark deviotion needs a basic hit to work so thats also not working anymore with his stab ability after the change

  • i still think you guys are overracting. the above mentioned perks need conditions met that are not always prefered for legion to even do so.

Being stunned in a chase isn't exactly niche. And you can use Furtive Chase to force the proc if needed.

furtive chase needs a normal attack to activate, and as a legion you're stabbing everyone first. so if your goal is to bleed them out because of undetectable buff than you are going out of your way to achieve this. if the survivor is bleeding you will down him with a normal attack and that is exactly what you need to even activate the perk.

Or do you want to play the legion the other way around? hit a survivor with a normal attack and then chase him with feral frenzy to bleed him and all the same having your undetectable still active?

  • It is way weaker than old legion. Old Legion didn't have to wait for the whole 30 seconds. You can also just not stun the Legion and drop pallets early to avoid becoming obsession effectively nullifying the perk.

yep there are counters to this play so i don't see why people are screaming again it's broken. sigh

Because Legion will be again nerfed by the devs mistake? Just like from the 2.4.0

  • No you could just not stun the Legion right especially if the obsession keep switching

    So basically facecamping

Basically, yes. I don't think most people enjoy getting facecamped. Especially against a Doctor in treatment or a Leatherface revving his chainsaw.

Outside of those two circumstances however, facecamping can be countered with some smart plays by the survivors. At best, you can attempt to make the killer hit the person on hook and freely save with Borrowed Time because of it. At worst, you can force a hook trade and hope your teammates are quick enough do gens and swap out when needed. There are things you can do against facecampers, even if they're risky and sometimes inconsistent.

With old/PTB Legion though, there's no real interaction or display of skill between the chaser and the chasee. The Legion will always down you no matter what you do.

Personally I liked having a killer where a single player could not counter them. Only teamwork could counter them. You had to work together, 4 versus 1. There was no 1v1 against old legion.
