  • The Perk alone is fine, just make it doesn't synergy with For the People, then killer can counter it by pick up downed survivor before getting healed. This make the perk somehow anti slugging. Which encourage both survivor and killer play strategically.

  • The Onyro Ability Reworkd is ok for me though.

But 1 things need to change, which is letting survivor to see all the TV aura.

To counter her ability, we need to get a tape. But we can't see TV aura, which waste the hell of our time to search it.

  • just bring your strongest build, play strategically.

Against a decent SWF, 2/1 kill should be normal. although most of the time should be all 4 escape. Unless you playing S tier killer like nurse and blight, there aren't really anything you could do.

BTW, consider yourself lucky, as the team you are against isn't even bringing full meta 2nd chance perk

  • Doesn't need netf, however does need a rework on haste stacking effect. Including stack with resilence.

  • I am ok if MFT is the only perk that survivor bring.

But that perk synergy too well with other speed perk, making it too overpowered.

MFT + Resillence + Balance Landing / Lithe (active it if you think killer gonna catch up in a loop). Personally, I didn't favor DH, u can only use it twice per match, and not able to use it on 1st chase.

Using this build, and some broken map design (garden of joy etc), basically most of the time killer give up chasing me, it took too much time for them to down me, and I not a good looper.

Suggestion: perhaps make it not able to stack with other speed perk.

  • The house is indeed too strong, I am a bad looper, but somehow I can always loop a killer for 2-3 gen at this house (killer have to bloodlust 2 or 3 to catch me I believe).

Made for This doesn’t affect Hag traps. You still take the hit.

lunge attack, dude. Made For This made survivor have more speed to outrun killer lunge attack, more noticeable on killer like hag / hunter etc.

  • After boon COH rework and medkit nerf (Hag Buffed)

All people can interact with trap + New perk Made For This hugely affect its lunge and chase (Hag Nerfed)

Conclusion, if you still able to keep everyone injured, you should have the game. Otherwise, just accept the 3/4 escape from survivor.

You cant use other items while carrying a Special Item

so I need to drop special item in order to use toolbox. That mean we can farm a lot of EMP by simply dropping them and get a new one. Unlimited supply EMP lol.

  • Perks alone is fine. Problem is this perk can stack with others haste perks, making it Overpowered.

The best change should make haste perk not stackable.

  • New map: Too many stone blocking line of sight, lot of windows, lesser pallet, many interesting design can make use of balanced landing, totem are super easy to find compare to other map. (Overall I like it, maybe redesign the the map abit for better line of sight)

New killer: M1 killer if you and your teamknow how to use EMP at the right timing. Deadly killer if you doesn't carry EMP / teammate doesn't back you up with EMP. (I like playing against this killer, have lot of interaction with EMP || I doesn't like playing with this killer, your brain will super dizzy cause need to keep switching pods, and yeah this killer too weak if survivor know what to do)

New Survivor Perk: Most of the perks can synergy with other existing perks, making it somehow OP build, either OP in looping / OP in gen rush (choose 1 of your playstyle) || Overall I like all these 3 perk.

New Killer Perk: only 1 perk is useful if pair with slug build, other peak are very weak, won't gonna touch those 2 perk since you got better perks already. || Overall I dislike all 3 perk, not useful and I rarely play slug build.

  • learn how to use EMP at the proper timing, this dude is a M1 killer if u and your team know what should do. The only match I lost against this killer was a survivor kill himself on 1st hook at 1 minute mark. Other than that we all get 4 escapes.

Don't forget that, this perk can't be combined with other exhaustion perks, or, if it does, the perks deactivate by himself..

it can, specific exhaustion perk only.

I always combine with lithe, after getting injured, loop until killer gonna catch up (which should be easy with this perk active), then use lithe to get more distance. This take a lot of time for killer to down me.

Cons: this build heavy counter by Fearmonger. You wasted 2 perk if killer bring Fearmonger.

  • Not really, the perk only allow survivor to understand the maps better, and know how to utilize the pallets / window that already existed. Keep in mind that, Decent survivor doesn't need that perk because they understand the maps and the loop well.

The reason it is highly use is because most of the survivor doesn't play the game 24/7, and not able to memorize every detail / loop of the maps.

Also, the perk itself doesn't provide 2nd chance, doesn't allow survivor to make distance from killer (exhausted perk).

From a killer side, I rather survivor bring WoO, it mean that survivor wasted a slot for much stronger perk that I have to worry about (gen rush perk, 2nd chance perk, exhausted perk etc).

The block function does not prevent you from matching with players.

Oh, seems like I misunderstand the Block function, so there is no way to prevent matching with certain player?

  • I am ok if a hatch can be open by a key, but hatch should auto close it after 1 survivor escape through it, if another survivor want to use the hatch, they had to use their own key to open again.

That's not the right answer. You can't balance around a system when you expect players to know a language.

Shouldn't the reverse also work. If you are matched with 3 German and one English shouldn't they speak German then,

What about in North America and youvarr matched with 3 South Americans should they then speak Spanish or Portuguese?

Well, this is not a valid reason to completely ignore the in game communication system. A lots of other game that have playerbase from many country are having in game communication system and run perfectly fine.

You may use a fast wheel text chat with all the default text. Example -> Killer is nearby me, Killer is chasing me, Come with me, Go for the safe, Killer is coming. All this default text will display different language depend on player language setting if player select it.

Example, player A with language setting English, select fast wheel chat -> Killer is nearby me.

Other player will saw "Killer is nearby me" in the text chat according to the language of their setting.

  • @twistedmonkey said:

Because that doesn't work. Only those who live in a country with one spoken language in the lobbies seem to think so.

Europe or Asia are completely different and you can be in a lobby with 4 other languages so balancing that cannot work.

What would you do to sort that scenario out?

Then there are the trolls, the ones who scream "save me" and are just overall toxic people. End game chat is bad enough.

Well maybe you can refer how communication in other games work.

In game text chat (player can choose skip certain player text chat if they wish)

In game voice comm (player can choose mute certain player if they wish )

Fast wheel text chat select (hold G, wheel appear and player can quickly select the text they wish to enter to text chat insted of typing them )

Developer could always ask opinion from player idea if they facing some difficulty. I am sure that some Player will give proper and logic solution.

  • Useful perk while playing solo.

Spine Chill + Empathy (counter knock out) + detective hunch. These perk combine together provide you information that close to SWF level.

  • 1 time I play Trapper with Devour Hope and NOED, safe the best for last against 4 man SWF that have all the toxic behaviour + ( 4 DS, 1 OoO, 3BT )

I was almost giving up as I only gotten 2 hook while 4 gen completed. After All Gen are done, I gotten 3 hook and 3 stack of Devour Hope, sadly my NOED gone instantly.

They though they are safe and fast vault to let me go for them at the exit gate so I can watch their show while they escape. Yeah they all teabag me and flashlight clicking me but they make 1 mistake, the exit gate only have 70% progression while I got there.

And yeah I down 3 of them and last one step on my trap. From 0 k to 4k ( lucky they didn't bring unbreakable), super satisfying moment.

  • On Small map, yes, due to how annoying you are and able to prolong the game.

On Big map, sorry Doc you just another clown who can know where I am every 60 second. You still can be loop.

  • DS is unfair to killer if survivor choose to use it as a weapon against killer, instead of a protection.

I got a lot of matches, Survivor just got unhook, I chase the rescuer and not tunneling, but instead of stay away and heal up, that survivor just following me, teabag me and clicky clicky flashlight cause he know he got DS make him having god mode for 1 minute.

And guess what, when I choose to chase him, he immediately go to god loop + locker to make me eat the DS.

DS is to punish killer that tunnel, but now killer force to eat DS even they doesnt want to tunnel, something is really wrong here.

I is suspecting english isn't your first language. There's situations where you don't want to move and this was one of them

You can move 1 step and then back to your hiding location, which only take 1 second, the crows wont come out.

Just sharing tips to you. Use it or not depend on you :).

  • SWF squad with full meta bully build is the strongest hidden killer in the game. :)

  • One of the most toxic behaviour is teabag with DS.

Survivor just got unhook, I chase the rescuer and not tunneling, but instead of stay away and heal up, that survivor just following me, teabag me and clicky clicky flashlight cause he know he got DS make him having god mode for 1 minute.

And guess what, when I choose to chase him, he immediately go to god loop + locker to make me eat the DS.

DS is to punish killer that tunnel, but now killer force to eat DS even they doesnt tunnel, something is really wrong here.

Yeah, Some survivor really heavily abuse those 2nd chance perk.

  • I am Blendette and let me provide you a tips.

Bring detective hunch and cleanse all those totem. It give you more point than looping killer for 5 gen.

There was a match where I done 3 gen. Safety unhook 2 time. Cleanse 5 totem. Heal teammate 4 time and only getting chased by killer at the exit gate and I am the top bloodpoint earned. 28k. My teammate that loop the killer for 3 gen only gottem 24

    k.

  • I am suspecting is this post is a joke or what. Stealth and AFK are different things. If you get a AFK crow, then you are not playing stealth.

Btw. I am Blendette that play stealth that never get a AFK crow.

  • I encounter this build before, and these perk are not as strong as you think. We got ourself 3-gen ( doc was intentionally protect those 3 gen, and bring the reverse skill check addon ), however we 4 all are still alive while 1 gen left.

Just each people work on 1 gen and try to hit the skill check ( which super easy to hit, thanks to old ruin that allow me to practice great skill check ), no need to run even fail the skill check as doc might chasing other people off the gen which mean you are safe to continue repair ( thanks to my perk spine chill ).

Yes the game was prolong until a 16 minute gameplay but we 4 escape.

If you gotten those coward teammate that not dare to repair the gen and just doing nothing in this situation, well you just unlucky ( you might search for hatch / surrender yourself to killer ).

  • Confirm Bulba, instant down every other killer without need to aim precisely.

  • Tips for you, heal at super corner of the map and he wont able to gain his power. Even he go and collect those blood obs it will waste his time, work for me everytime.

Also, stealth when he using his power.

Oni provide you so many information, when he has the power, when he use the power, when his power depleted. Different situation difference playstyle.

  • 1.)Map become smaller, make it only have 5 house.

2.) two house should have the balconies only and each floor should only have 2 window.

3.)Rework God loop -> super long fence with window facing to a long safe loop and another window open at the opposite with super long fence and window open toward inside house. When I play survivor I didn't even need to drop the pallet if I didn't make mistake, all I do is jump from long fence window to long fence window and run inside house and jump out from the house window ( repeat the process till killer get bloodlust 3 or give up on me )

  • Against Nurse, just run away as far as you can when she is fatigue and out of sight. Do not loop a nurse, she can ignore pallet and window.

Against Billy, loop him at tight corner, billy chainsaw cant 90 degree hit you, and this force him become M1 killer to down you. I think no need to mention how long a M1 killer need to down someone as long as you doesn't make mistake and bump into them.

Against Freddy, do not stealth, you are highlighted in white if entering freddy camera. Just always stay awake, and freddy are just another M1 killer to you.

Against Spirit, you need iron will. Without iron will is very difficult to pull off move that can confuse her. Then enjoy your mind game with her. Way to confuse -> while she is phasing, drop pallet and walk to side of the loop. slow vault window ( or quick and quiet + lithe + dance with me ) always can let her misjudge.

  • @Key said:

I disagree. Killers are op. Especially GhostFace. He is super fast and hard to go against as a survivor. One of the only ways to beat him is to have a super coordinated team.

Ghostface is a M1 killer with normal walking speed. Try to bring a spine chill, he cant stalk you anymore and become a killer without the power, it work for me at least.

  • Even I playing solo I have 70% 4 people escape with my teammate when against non mobility killer among my matches.

You may refer to my perk and try it yourself. I am focus on information gathering as playing solo make you unable to obtain any information. Why SWF is so strong because they can share information between them and allowing them can bring all escape / bully perk without any information perk.

Thats why I choosing the perk that can allow me having the information advantage that close to SWF level. Yes I can't bully the killer, but my objective is to survive, not troll the killer.

1.Empathy -> For coordinate with other teammate, eg continue repair the gen the left off, heal them, etc.

2.Spine Chill -> Getting ready to safe loop / god loop if I suspect killer are on their way to me. Able to know can perform a Safety Hook or not also.

3.Detective Hunch -> Superior aura reading ability, for me to cleanse totem ( NOED only last 30 second in my matches ), search chest and plan gen repairing so that I doesn't 3 gen my team.

4.Any escape perk depend what I want>>>Urban Evasion if I want stealth, Sprint Burst / Lithe / Balance Landing for immediate escape from killer.

Lastly, play more and study each loop and map is super important.

Most map have god loop and super safe pallet that enough for you to loop killer 5 minute if no mistake was make.

Sprint burst to non-safe pallet was the biggest mistake that I make during my early time in this game. But now I can always prepare myself at safe loop and most killer will immediate give up on me.

And most important, 2 pip in most of these matches. Super easy.

  • Dev need to rework OoO to make it counterable. This perk totally disable killer that require setup such as Hag, Trapper.

My suggesion is Only obsession have the effect of OoO, means if 2 or more people bring OoO, others will have the OoO perk disable until they become the obsession.

This will make this perk more challenging and more balance. If killer want to disable it, killer need to find a way to switch obsession.

If survivor found that is a stealth killer, their friend can DS killer to disable this perk, or stun the killer if killer bring Nemesis to help their friend.

  • Survivor having potatoes in SWF and Solo.

Based on my experience, Most worst is when all the SWF is potatoes and your are the only solo, when the game fail due to their ignorant keep going to the killer to head on, pallet stun, body block, flashlight, instant save with BT when all these tactic fail and 3 of them are down within 1 minute, they will blame the solo one.

In 1 of these game, I had unhook them 3 time, solo repair 3 gen, heal 5 of them, where they only repaired 1 gen and cleanse ruin totem.

Thanks to their bully tactic fail, they all died and I escape through hatch. They become super salty insulting the killer and me, accuse me doing nothing entire match, a PXXSSY, then complain killer camping, tunneler where they all rushing to the hooked person ( their friend ) to instant save with BT without giving killer chances to go away.

  • buff solo survivor to near SWF level by giving them in-game chat / voice comm

then rework most map to smaller map and rework god loop to normal loop.

They need to complete these 2 things only and game experience will become much more better.

  • Welcome to DBD where most of the time you will get greeting by survivor with special word after match.

I play survivor and killer equally and most of the toxic message are coming from survivor.

Don't worry, You will get used to it and ignore those message soon.

  • For me sound like killer face camping when they know already lost in this round, so they are securing their 1 kill, totally logic right.

4 + gen only 1 hook is 90% confirm a lose already. If killer go search the other, last gen will pop before killer ever start chasing another survivor and that will become 0 kill.

However if killer face camping you while 0 gen done, that is bad killer.

  • I won't be surprise as survivor were too easy to play or even get into high rank before understand most game mechanic.

I meet red rank survivor that doesn't know crouch and torchlight can counter hag trap, throw down safe pallet before getting chase, getting destroy immediately while in jungle gym-> never look behind. Hide in corner doing nothing entire time while killer chasing others, and hooked person had kindered which should give them enough information should go for safe or not, doesn't know forever tier 1 Myer can see their aura, and more.

Hell yeah red rank survivor with only know repair gen.

  • Please don't rework Myers too much.

I love facing current version of Myers especially forever tier 1 Myers -> He know where you were, you can run but you cant hide.

  • Another solution of hidden skill check bug that similar to what you did in the game, Suicide yourself to the killer, no 5 min DC penalty and you can start searching match, sound better right.

  • For low mobility killer, 3-4 chase, all gen poped.

In this circumstances, NOED is the good investment for them to snowball or getting some kill on end game.

  • The game had become.

High Mobility killer -> fair game

Low Mobility killer -> Had to play dirty to have a fair result.

    Done.

  • If 1 vs 1, my killer.

If 3 or 4 of me vs my killer, My survivor 100% win.

  • Totally logic, any SWF with at least 2 decent skill and coordinate survivor can ensure 99% win for every match and bully the killer. Killer have 1 % chance to snowball if the survivor screw up too much.

I play both side that why I understand how strong with survivor if they wanted to.

I am consider give up playing killer depending on the next update also.

  • I prefer facing Doctor rather those high mobility and lethal killer -> freddy, hillbilly, spirit, oni.

  • The gen was going too fast and ending too fast for low mobility killer. It is all up to survivor to decide whether they want to stay in the game and play with you more or what if using low mobility killer.

    My record using trapper.

    Summary of Entire game.

    Average Game Time : 6 minute ++

Average Hook before EGC : 4 hook

yeah, around 4-5 chase, all gen are done.

I have no complain about the gen, but some map is too big for killer to patrol the gen, doesn't need to mention some trapper trap are scattered at the far end corner of the map which consume lots of time to pick up.

knockout and blindness needs to go as it destroys solo and does nothing to swf.

I face no problem as knockout when I playing solo, there is a perk -> empathy which I always bring it and counter knock out totally. I was hoping Dev rework those things that doesn't had counter, for the things that able to resolve by bringing a perk or item, I have no problem and those things can stay what it is.
