Removing key frustrations like his cod sniper ads quickscoping but compensate with other buffs to his power and addons.
Wait, where did he receive buffs to his power? And how healthy is it to play a killer if he's only good with add ons?

That's exactly how a killer like deathslinger should be changed. Well done!
This is definitely an unpopular opinion. RIP Caleb.

Well I'll probably play slinger less, which sucks considering he's one of my best killers.
I don't really like plague, maybe I'll give her a try. I'll try a little more trapper, but it feels like playing him is just a meme.
I like the acknowledgment of keys and hatch, but now it feels like luck or rng. The last system had its flaws, but you had to do gens to even unlock the hatch as a potential escape. I'm glad they looked at it, but I don't think this is the best answer.
I'm hopeful boon totems will be cool, although we wanted more objectives for survivor not killer but hey what can you do?
Spirit may be like the hatch, probably needed to be fixed but this might be too much. Depends how it is implemented.
So I'm nervous for how balance will be especially with SBMM, but hopeful because it seems like the community is being listened to (hatch, keys, spirit nerf) while at the same time adding changes nobody really asked for (slinger overnerf, extra killer objectives).

I'm a Legion main and before MMR I would usually 3k even against "good" survivors. Of course, nearly every SWF I ran across would give me no more than a 1k if I was lucky, I managed to win the majority of my games. This apparently put me at a high MMR. I literally can NOT play my main killer anymore because I've beem placed at such a high MMR and Legion simply can not compete with a team of 4 competent survivors, SWF or not. For every 1 win I get(minimum 3k and it's always a sweaty af match) I get around 10 games in a row where I can barely even get 1 kill. I used to have fun playing Legion and loved being challenged every other game but getting stomped into the dirt match after match no matter how hard I try has made me despise playing my favorite killer. Since my MMR is apparently quite high, I feel pretty much forced to play 1 of the 3 killers who can actually compete at my MMR. It's so unfair to he forced off your favorite characters simply because they can't compete at the level you've been placed at. Survivors get rewarded for higher MMR by getting placed with better teammates, but killers are punished more and more the higher they get. Not to mention the queuesl times are insane. So I guess I'm going to have to swap to nurse forever if I want to have a chance against the survivors I'm so often put against. RIP Susie. I'll miss you. ๐ญ
I don't blame you what so ever. Since MMR dropped there has been a significant increase in games where the killer is running NOED. So run Nurse and NOED because that's all that is incentivized now. There is no reward based on play, just a reward based on how much you play, while at the same time your games a much more sweaty for now reason smh.

Do you really expect to play with noobs and win from start?
DBD is not hard game, but you still need some knowledge and grind ######### tons of BP.
I get you, but I've never been on this bad of a losing streak. When MMR first came out and was still trying to figure out where everyone was we would play an escape probably 40 percent of the time, which was still enjoyable enough. I just think SBMM or MMR is bad for the game.

I am not sure exactly how SBMM works with SWFs or how good you are as a survivor, BUT....
If you are trying to introduce friends to the game - I think it makes more sense to use an alt account than your main one. Your main one will definitely have a higher SBMM than a fresh one. So it would be like 2 new/newer players. It's the same as how Red ranks used to introduce their friends to the game and they would face purple/red ranks and get stomped.
Just my thoughts.
Yeah you're probably right just sucks I have to smurf just to teach my friend the ropes. Oh well.

I think after 5 years, over 5k total hours and tons of content watched, debates had, and sadly money spent. I'm done.
Either taking a big break or just quitting.
As killer i seem to get nothing but sweat while streamers and pros go against lower mmr survivors. Playing against perfect players who are always on comms and rarely make any mistakes with 4 meta perks just isnt fun.. especially when they get survivor sided maps with amazing rng.
But as survivor i get infuriating incompetent teammates, sweaty killers with no variety and horrible rng with next to mo pallets or loops
Yeah man I haven't been able to escape for 6 games in a row. I'd say take a break not worth getting stressed cause they don't care either way.

This is survivors party game.
BHVR always nerf killers perk or privilege.
Welcome to real DBD.
That's the thing, I play with my friends who are newer to the game and we lose. No joke we've been 4k'd the last 5 games in a row. What happened to 2 kills and 2 escapes?
Before MMR I could play with my newer friends and sure we didn't win often but one of us could escape every other game. If only there were a casual playlist for this casual game smh.

game after game it's been sweat squad after sweat squad - at this point DBD is becoming more of an irritation than it is a game , every chapter we're hit with more bugs than a hornet's nest and the maps keep being tuned on and off like it's child flicking a light-switch. it's really coming across that the developer's of DBD do not respect their audience/community , it's as if they see us as nothing more than cash cows that will lap up their lackluster jokes
reigning this back onto talking about SBMM - This system is pushing me away from wanting to experiment with the surplus of perks that's available in the game and forcing me into the same 4/5 perks every match
Furthermore due to the MMR you won't see many wholesome moments in this game anymore because the system will punish acts of kindness on both sides. Killer having a bad match and they look like they've just installed so you give them a sacrifice? BAD MMR DROP FOR YOU . Survivor has 3 of their teammates Dc so you give them hatch? BEING NICE IS A CRIME PUNISHABLE BY BAD PUNS
don't even get me started on the absurdly scarce amount of content in the base game without DLC
Yeah I've been trying to get my friends into the game and playing with them. Doesn't matter cause we die every game. We're either camped, tunneled, or killed by noed at the end of the game. Very rarely do we feel like the killer outplays us instead it feels like absurd game mechanics being broken and us losing. But SBMM am I right?

Honestly, I'm super surprised this is still here. I rarely run into it so I guess it's not a blip on the radar.

I think what he should have said is that if your finding matches hard then it's working properly becusde the point behind the system was to match equally skilled players against eachother. Based on what your saying about long matches and your survivors being afraid of you but still putting up a good fight means it's working as intended.
Sbmm does not mean you get easy matches. Quite the opposite.
Again assuming it's working which I don't.
I switched to Clown and now I get consecutive 4k's idk anymore. I'm not a fan but it is what it is. Thanks for not telling me I'm bad but actually hearing me out.

@blankfaced said:
Yep it's working just fine for me. I'm grouped with equally skilled players and games have gotten much easier as a solo survivor.
If you're getting grouped with "babies" don't blame the MMR blame your skill and ability because the game sees it as equivalent to the players it's placing you with.
Don't let jerks like this guy gas light you, the lap dogs are working overtime to defend Behavior. They won't handle anything that smells a little like constructive criticism.
-
It can't be match made correctly because it isn't balanced correctly. I keep getting put with teammates that don't do any gens but hide. I'm not the best survivor but I shouldn't be consistently put with new players. It's terrible.
-
@aliens said:
Then MMR is working correctly, if your best is where you can't win then that means you're not as good as you think you are. MMR takes a few games to adjust and that's what people seem to forget, it'll eventually pan out to your skill level. My MMR on freddy is currently at the point all I get is 4 stack SWF PC gamers that are way above average and that's due to me getting 3ks/4ks 20 games in a row. However, my MMR on ghostface is piss poor in which I get clueless survivors because I play him casually for fun.
Sounds to me like you're at your skill level if you're struggling to kill good survivors
It's smug people like you that prevents this game from getting any better. Any criticism is just "well you're not good enough". Thanks thats very helpful.

I can't even do anything without ruin/undying. Three gens are popped before I get a single hook. I'm about to just run all gen slow down perks and pray I stop getting into lobbies with 4 DS and 4 BT.
