I can't give a why I'm afraid. There's been technical difficulties that unfortunately take time to iron out when it comes to Switch Cross Progression. It's something that we're still working on with our partners but we are unable to provide an ETA :(

We went from "September 2020 with stadia and steam" to "soon after stadia and steam" to "end of quarter 2" to "maybe soon, getting in touch with nintendo" to "no eta" to "we're going to show you switch players what you want desperately by giving you guys the message but it's not actually here and there's still no eta"
their actions are very evil... i really want my switch progression so bad 😭😭😭😭

has there been any work done to progress fixing technical difficulties? like months go by without an update on something that was announced almost a year and a half ago and so far we went from 'q2' to 'soon' to 'no eta'.. it's so disrespectful to switch players who've been wanting to switch (pun intended) platforms so we no longer have to play on 20fps with playstation 2 graphics.. and it's much more disrespectful that epic store got cross progression for whatever reason with stadia and steam when all of them are bound to pc..

Something should have been said for sure. It would have helped ease the wait time. I just want to know its still in the works is all, even if it's got a delay. I am just nervous it's going to be scrapped and we will never hear anything about it again.
that was my attitude in july but after the long wait we got template replies and it all just irked tbh bc they straight up lied to us and now we're at a point where its been 400+ days since switch cross progression was announced and we have no date
