there was an official statement regarding the delay on Twitter. And I know someone has made a topic about that here on the forums so people would be informed.
to be fair, it was just a response to a question at the very end of Q2, but at least they said something

that was my attitude in july but after the long wait we got template replies and it all just irked tbh bc they straight up lied to us and now we're at a point where its been 400+ days since switch cross progression was announced and we have no date
Well, Im hoping it wasn't a lie and it really was just a delay. Even if we just got some kind of update that its still going to happen I'd be happy. I invested a bit more than I'd like to admit on my switch version, but with a newborn baby I don't have the cash to repurchase all my dlc. That and if I buy something again and it gets announced we get cross progression real quick after buying it, I'd be a bit butthurt. Just a time table would help. It would really be great to just be able to carry over my progress.
Even just an update would be something. Usually I feel like Bhvr does a great job with this, but I feel a bit in the dark on this subject and I hope its not a bad sign that it won't happen.

Something should have been said for sure. It would have helped ease the wait time. I just want to know its still in the works is all, even if it's got a delay. I am just nervous it's going to be scrapped and we will never hear anything about it again.

All I need to hear is that its still in the works and on the table to be happy. I'll just work on the base characters until I can one day be reunited with all my stuff that I got on the switch. :)
