KEEP IN MIND I AM A LOW RANK SURVIVOR AND MOSTLY PLAY KILLER SO YEAH.
If you want I would like to see what real survivor mains lists would look like
How is this based? Do you enjoy playing killer's who are easier to beat or do you want someone challenging? I like playing against the stealth killer's there the most fun. I don't like legion or plague as a Solo player your teammates make it horrible to go against. I don't like nurse because everyone sucks with her so it's too easy. Spirit I really enjoy I don't understand how people fall for the standing still trick you know when she is phasing or not there is a sound. I will say I don't use spine chill much anymore which is a awesome perk and makes playing against her easy. Most killer's are boring because there not very strong I don't really have much issues but interesting post

That's one less iron will, adrenaline, DS, unbreakable, or something in that heavy meta field so I'll take it.
Resilience is what gets me honestly, especially with spine chill because it works even if you are alone on a gen and makes you godlike at certain tiles. I used to run PTS but I found I did gens faster with that combo more often.
Lol my survivor build is spine, resilience, dead hard and a random perk not only are they good perks but they counter a lot of things and two are base perks survivor is so much easier

Title says it all, nearly every game I play has a Prove Thyself, which makes the awful gen speeds even worse. If you play on a larger map or are playing a low mobility killer, you're bound to lose more often than not.
It is extremely frustrating to finally catch a survivor, hit them, and then have a gen pop by the time you finally down them after they ran forward to waste time. Gen regression perks help, but often times the gen pops before I can get to it, and even then, I don't want to HAVE to run gen regression every game.
Has anyone else noticed to insane amounts of Prove Thyself's lately (toolboxes too), or am I just getting unlucky with my games?
I play both sides a lot and yes that perk was shadow buffed with group repair speed nerf. It saves up to 7 second with 2 people as opposed to 4. I don't know if it's a problem because gen speed is so quick anyway that your better off using other stuff however I occasionally use it now as well. As killer I run discordance on almost every build so it's not as painful but honestly as a normal killer on big map you lose one gen instantly anyway plus the one you can't reasonably Defend I don't even know if it's worth using regression perks. I kinda just slug and use tracking or chase perks. You cannot reasonably Defend the generators you have to hope for a couple easy chases and a snowball situation to have a chance pop only does 20 second regression how much does it really help good luck playing killer it's rough world

You cannot be serious and it's a 20 second regression not 40 thank you this made my day I'm almost in tears from laughing
Good luck regulus

Need I say any more? This build is used in almost every game at the higher ranks due to how simple it makes defending the generators. There's no skill or (real) counterplay to this combo. There is counterplay to BBQ, hiding in lockers, but doing that when repairing a generator just wastes precious time. That means there's more chance the killer will get to the generator before it's repaired and ruin all your hard work and effort for no effort or investment at all.
The killer just hooks a survivor (easy enough) and sees everyone's aura, and then they can go to generators being worked on and instantly get rid of 30-40 or more seconds of a generator repair progression, counting the fact it applies normal regression ON TOP OF the massive gen progress decrease. There's nothing the survivor can do about it. It doesn't even have a cool down, so if someone tries to repair the generator to make up for the unavoidable regression loss, the killer can just do it again with no penalty. It literally punishes you for playing well, and I don't know if that's healthy.
I realise this will probably be seen as a joke or bait by the people of this forum, but I'm being serious. This build is used in almost every high rank game - even the Decisive Strike + Unbreakable combo isn't used that often, yet the BBQ+Pop combo is the one ignored. It reeks of hypocrisy to me. Both combos are uncounterable without literally stopping doing your objective. Killers should face the same stigma for running these mindless combos that survivors are given, and I'm sick of this community giving them a free pass.
Tl;dr: Killers are hypocrites for complaining about good survivor perk combos when they use an overpowered and uncounterable perk combo every game. It's the small PP build for killer.
You cannot be serious and it's a 20 second regression not 40 thank you this made my day I'm almost in tears from laughing
I actually apologize I forget not everyone is a sweat at this game at rank 15 this is op it takes time but you will get better I'm not picking on you for being new but honestly that statement is ridiculous

In a 4 vs 1 game the 1 needs to be way stronger than the 4 meaning that someone with slightly lesser skill should still be able to have a chance. If there equal or better than they should always win. No killer expects 4 k to be the balance but my experience is as killer I average close to 3 depends on killer. As a survivor I survive 70 percent of the time as a solo queue on average at least 2 get out. Now as survivor the vast majority of our deaths are during end game. To me as a survivor it should feel like a accomplishment to survive as my perspective is I'm not supposed to and maybe that's were the problem is we all want the game to be something it's not. But no the game is incredibly survivor bias if you don't see that your just a bad player I could explain why but survivor and killer mains only want to hear there point. Problem is for every killer there is 4 survivors crying the game designer will always cater to majority.

i use it in my main build but i think this rework idea is too strong.
skill check- skill checks add a chance that youll miss it, but it would be nice if you go against a doctor. most survivors hit ds anyway so this wont really be an issue
no obsession perk- again, not much of a difference but it would make it harder for the killer to predict ds
unlimited charges- the killer would just slug you anyway if you ds'd him the first time. this is the part where the perk becomes too good
Yeah my thinking is trying to reduce tunneling. I mostly play killer but when I play survivor I see a lot of tunneling and camping. I know I hate gen speed but admittedly I gen rush the hell out of killers not anything else to do and when you're solo queue it's hard to know what your getting for teamates. Also a lot of people just grab you instantly with no borrow and you get farmed. I can't get mad at killer in that instants. The game needs to be longer somehow. Everyone enjoys long chase but when you realistically need at least 8 hooks a game more like 10 for average 30 second long chased or more are just devastating. I don't want longer gen speed thinking map rework make gens more defendable first gen basically free and there is almost always one you can't really Def. I guess my post is more survivor mercy which is odd because killers just have it so bad with current meta. The idea of a 4 vs 1 game means that the 1 should be way stronger requiring less skill to win not more.

I disagree
A problem with DS is having it at powered gates, this makes it so if you have DS you can always trade as long as your not on death hook to then be saved later and use DS to escape.
Also it should be an obsession perk and that won't change as it is a laurry perk and all her perks are obsession perks.
Lastly it should have a skill check, it is still a good perk no need to make it simply brain dead to use.
I forgot about exit gates I agree with you on that you should not be guaranteed a escape. Borrow time is enough it's ok to tunnel at that point not much else you can do

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking with regards to healing oneself.
Exactly. I've had so many cases where even if I'd run DS, I'd still have died for the hard tunnelling because my chases lasted so long. It's incredibly frustrating.
Meanwhile as killer, I don't remember the last time I got hit by DS. Because I don't play like an ass. xD
You don't play killer much I have hooked people than chased a full health survivor down him and got DS. That needs to change. I feel that DS should not be obsession perk, require a skill check and should have unlimited charges. But as soon as you start healing, gen repair any other actions it deactivate till next time. It's supposed to be anti tunnel sadly it's needed but it's not supposed to be a weapon that destroys a game for some one not being a ass
-
Also why is he being criticism for noed? It's a easily counter perked and essentially makes you play with 3 perks experience killers won't use it as the value you get out of it is so small especially in oni. I would suggest using a constant perk that can help you win without relying on a maybe perk especially on Oni. If you sense your losing hold on to your power till the end. Also he is a level 45 Oni and a account level 80 overall he may not have anything else
-
Hell at rank 15 my last game was against a 1-2-19-20 time before 2-6-8-12 at least your lobby is good honestly 3k is what I want to get a 3k and 27k blood points without ranking up I think is lucky I quit for a long time hence my low rank and bro red rank survivor is not fun it is way easier playing survivor I destroy killers at any rank. If your struggling now it's not going to get better 30 minutes is 4 red rank games be happy your were your at
-
Well I didn't use them anyway and as a Solo survivor I just left before match loaded in never a issue. Keys are more problematic as you don't even need to bring them into match to find one I don't use those either. Just remove moro's and kill survivor by hand challenges and be done with it. Game is about survivor experience sucks to be killer

Killer is easier...
You don't have to
- rely on other players for your success
- know every inch of the maps
- be able to counter the killer's power and potential perks
- be in an area where there are still resources (pallets, windows)
- not get face camped or tunnelled or mori'd
- not have the gates spawn too close
Just to name a few...
I think you should try playing killer your opinion will change drastically. Spirit, nurse, oni, and freddy are very strong killers. The rest are either fair or really really bad. The killer does not have control over the games outcome they are reliant on survivor mistakes. It sounds like you're a bad survivor or your like me and play Solo and are getting bad teammates. Really playing survivor the only thing that hurts me is bad teammates and while that is frustrating when I employ just one friend let alone more I almost never lose. If you gen rush and why wouldn't you not like you have anything better to do you will almost never lose. Also to be a good survivor all you have to do is play survivor to be a good killer means your a really good survivor player as well and seriously killer require a lot more map knowledge it's clear you only know one side. Knowing when to chase pushing survivors were you need them to go just to name a few is basic essential knowledge to have a fighting chance. I'm not saying survivors don't have a few issue but the fact I can one vs one most killers in a one vs four game shows a serious balance issue. granted I am a ๐ main when I play killer hence why I understand the struggle
-
Also remember survivor only player's this is a 1 vs 4 game a killer with reasonable skill and map knowledge should be able to win his 1 vs 1 quickly. I understand as survivor it's fun to loop someone for 3 gens yes people should just not chase me but at some point you have to. Killer want a 4k survivor wants to survive. I just feel that survivor is just too easy I should feel scared of killer it should feel like a accomplishment to survive. I understand for every killer main there are 4 survivors crying so survivors have louder voice. Just remember when you're waiting 20 minutes for a match and all you play is freddy and spirit because that's all who's left don't complain about it.
-
Also if they remove bloodlust I will quit for good
-
I say remove blood lust but also remove speed burst survivor gets after being hit as well or just buff
killer movement speed. Honestly survivor is still really easy to play the only thing hard about survivor is your team sometimes suck
