Any opinion goes, Id just like to see how people feel about the current state of the game and/or the game's future, or the Forums.
Im not going to bother putting my likes/dislikes here, frankly most people wont even bother to read it, seems that long responses dont generally get engagement so Im just moving away from long posts. Also generally editing, correcting, and fixing is overall a pain with my ADHD and I just really need to transition away from long posts.
Of course I will read the responses to this post though, so there is something.
very disappointed in both.

If you have over 1k hours on this game you've probably experienced at least a couple games in which there will be two survivors left with 3-4 gens remaining, and instead of trying to do anything, the survivors just hide all game and keep you in the match. It is very frustrating and petty.
I have this happen from time to time and it is a big problem. Im making this post because I just experienced it again, and while I did find one of them in the end and get the 3k, it took 20 extra minutes and I never want to deal with it again. There needs to be a mechanic in place that reveals their positions to you if they dont do anything for 5 minutes
Oh, and then the survivors will message you afterwards and try to say that it is YOUR fault they acted that way.
The person who got the hatch in the game I was just in messaged me trying to say that he wouldn't have acted like that if I didn't "camp at the start" grown man btw, I checked.
There needs to be something done about this or it will just be a last resort option for the survivors to troll a killer because they're salty they got obliterated with 5 gens left
you can’t punish immersive gameplay, they’re literally playing the game as intended. hiding from the killer. it’s is your job to find them.

Reviving a survivor lol, but it would make for a good invocation now that I think about it.
Something like Invocation: Fourth chance: After wasting 120 seconds doing in the basement gain a hook state. The next time a survivor dies they instead resurrect in the basement and are afflicted with the broken status for the remainder of the trial.that would be such a good use of invocation actually

I don't get how can people get mad against skull merchant when she is nothing more than a B or C tier stealth killer
she requires zero effort, i’ve played as her. playing against her there’s nothing you can do mid chase when she puts a drone up. no good survivor is going to crouch mid chase because that just allows for an m1. you run away to the next loop and you get scanned by the drone she’s just placed. there’s no way to remove tags other than to enter deep wound and broken or get hooked. which grants her haste and gives survivors hindered status if they get scanned again whilst already in deep wound and broken. it is painstakingly miserable to play against. i don’t understand why people are so adamant she’s fine when clearly over half the community disagree AND she’s got the highest kill rate because people just give up because she is an awfully designed killer. like the evidence is all there. you gotta understand that bhvr isn’t always going to hit the mark with every killer they release, which is fine as long as they actually listen to the feedback they receive.

this game would be so so much healthier
Weird way to spell easier…
giving all killers haste for no reason
Well, people didn't like exposed for everyone, so Haste replaced it.
i think her power should be reworked completely
I am not against any good idea, as long it is not Knight from Wish most people suggest. I hate that idea.
I play her mostly for Dead by Fashion, because her skins are really good. So as long power is decent and she is M1, I'll play her.
i don’t want to play a game where i can’t play the game
It's funny, I usually choose slugging over tunneling, so survivor get a chance to play a game. If I find survivor after they got unhooked, I slug them. I am not sure survivors are going to enjoy version, where it is not possible.
tunnelling
unless you nerf both slugging and tunneling of course. But for that to happen there would also need to major buff for killers / nerf for survivors. Balance with nerfs to those two is going out of the window.
weskers passive hinder
I wouldn't mind to lower duration a little for infection, but make it not progress in chase. Kinda like Pig… that would be fair in my opinion.
hit validation-especially over pallet fast vaults
There is a hit validation. Just because you don't like the result of the hit, doesn't mean it's not there.
I remember first version of hit validation, that was terrible time to play killer. That's why I didn't…
i definitely meant healthier, and i’ll stand by that no matter what. it’s fine if you enjoy slugging but it definitely needs adjustments as it is a major error in game design and 100% needs looked at, basekit unbreakable should always have been a thing, the time it takes for a survivor to recover on the floor is enough pressure as it is.
haha let’s be honest, both version of skull merchant were flops and this was and has been made very obvious. there’s no denying it. past SM could hold games hostage, new SM doesn’t have to do anything and suddenly the entire squad is in deep wound, being hindered etc which is why i think she needs completely reworked, new power and everything. something that requires a little brain power lol either that or delete her from the game. but i agree knight from wish would be dreadful. she has amazing potential, there’s so many options open with her being an original killer. they can do literally anything. would be a shame if the devs didn’t take advantage of this.
as for tunnelling i do the same as you because i know how upsetting it is to want to play a game and chill out then end up being ruthlessly tunneled, it’s just exhausting. slugging for pressure is fine i’m not totally against slugging, i just wish survivors had a little more options rather than laying helplessly on the ground until their inevitable death.
yes with wesker it would be great if infection worked like pig, stopped progressing whilst mid chase, progressed slower than it currently does/progresses from 0% after being unhooked rather than 50% etc.
i know there is already some form of hit validation implemented in dbd but lately it’s been insane, especially over pallets, killers will even nod after they’ve hit you through a pallet as if to say “yep, that definitely shouldn’t have hit but i’ll take it” even saw a few clips circulating on twitter with killer vs surv POV and it’s wild that some of these hits land. definitely needs looked at. window vaults are ok, but pallet vaults have been a certain way for a while now…

i face a wall and they still pull it off how is that fair!?
i cant belive i have to run lightborn just for this
this game gives me white hairs
“omg why do i have to run perks to counter the opposing teams perks !!!”

it’s not a lose-lose if you hook everybody once before the exit gates are opened, which is very easy to accomplish these days

So what you say here is that there is a broken mechanic in the game, but it is fine because one perk should be able to counter it
everything is a broken mechanic these days lmao. just accept you couldn’t get the kill.

Deliverance needs to either be disabled during end game or have it nullify the effects of being unhooked such as the endurance as well as giving 3 seconds of exhaustion after self unhooking. This is the final perk that needs a change so the survivors can't be given a free escape. Don't bother saying anything about getting the effect of the perk set up but not being able to use it because there are a ton of perks that become useless in the game anyway.
why does it need to be disabled during end game? surely if a survivor has made it to end game without being hooked they should still be rewarded? i wouldn’t even consider it a free escape if they didn’t get caught once the entire trial up until end game. maybe do better to hook everyone before end game and you won’t have this issue. you can’t just expect the game to hold your hand all the way to the finish line, like at some point you gotta ask yourself if you’re being reasonable or just upset the game didn’t play out how you wanted it to.

I want to preface by saying that I'm open to having my mind changed! This is just where I stand on the issue currently.
The video shows a game I recently played in which 2 survivors used the healing feature in the game as an exploit to allow their downed teammate to escape unscathed. It feels very similar to the exploit also under debate where Killers can instant drop after pickup to cancel a DS deployment.
In my opinion, both of these should not be possible. If survivors want to heal, they should be able to heal. If they want to crawl out and escape, they should be able to. But they shouldn't be able to do both, abuse Killer cooldowns, and get free escapes.
As for my recommended solution, Killers should be able to pickup downed survivors no matter their current state. In this case, Killers should be able to bypass survivors' healing animations by instantly picking up the downed survivor, thereby avoiding the abuse of animation exploits and Killer cooldowns.
Thoughts on this?https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/SBETAZX07LB1/exploit-evidence.gif
i’ll be honest, you have a perk equipped that directly counters any kind of body blocking… had you saved your STBFL stacks you would have managed to avoid this.
