A) It's a good strategy to slug for a bit if, for example, a survivor with a flashlight hoping to get a save is nearby. This I do agree with. What I don't agree with is mega-slugging and instead just hooking them.
B) Are you complaining that gens are too slow to fix or something? That's just not true at all. Literally, hold M1 away from the killer and that's the only objective survivors really have. Keep in mind that the killer has to put pressure on 4 survivors constantly which if they're a SWF that knows what they're doing, the killer's chance of winning is so much unlikely.
No I'm saying after gen is done, they can't work on another for 100 seconds to prevent gen rush.
-
Ok let's punish killers for using a good strategy. While we're at it let's just make it so survivors can't work on another generator after fixing one for 100 seconds
-
Survivors can't win without their sprint burst, dead hard, DS. All their exhaustion perks.
-
Pop goes the weasel is personally my favorite and probably the best gen slowing perk there is. There's also corrupt which is amazing for getting a hook in before a gen pops. Also, if you can, find the closest 3 generators that are closest to each other and protect those.
-
So we can't use perks? Ok.
-
I can't wait to see no one with DS lol, everyone relies on that perk so much it's unbelievable.
-
Ok another person who's like "Oh if you don't like a perk you suck get good gg ez uninstall" Okay then.

Tbf, I don't really consider nodding BM, really. I think it CAN be, but most of the time I just think it's funny. Anyone nodding or shaking their head is funny to me.

Honestly? You're probably right. I can't imagine the usual toxic survivors AREN'T also toxic on killer lol.

I don't expect the killer to be nice or let me go or anything. I just expect to be given the same respect that I give, is all. If I'm not BMing, if i'm not being toxic, then I expect the killer to give me the same decency. I understand there's times when tunneling or even facecamping is all the killer can really do, especially if it's one survivor on hook and all the gens are done. I don't consider that toxic, although others might. I do consider actual, bonafide tunneling off hook for no reason, even when there are other survivors nearby trying to take hits, pretty toxic, but that's just me. Again, I just ask that if I'm not being toxic or BMing, that the people I'm going against (whethere Survivors or Killers) give me the same decency.
The killer doesn't have to give the survivors any respect no matter if you're toxic or not. I myself don't respect them. They've given me hard enough times as it is, so I'm done being nice.

No killer is required to give you respect no matter if you're toxic or not. I don't respect any survivors. We probably are ruder and meaner because survivors make us really angry.
-
Every man for himself, that's how I play survivor lol
-
What? The killer is supposed to be nice or something?
-
I just went up against a team with all flashlights. Let's just say, I didn't go so easy on them. :)

Yep, had one of those yesterday as well - everyone died on first hook, was a AMAZING game...
Good for the killer though :D

Yes, throwing the game. 1 full first hook sacrifice takes 120 seconds, it takes 80 seconds for survivors to do 3 gens. You dedicated time to the chase, so odds are that 1 generator is done already, if not almost done. If the survivors play seriously, you likely lost 2 generators relatively quickly. 1-2 generators done when you have 120 seconds on camping a hook, that leaves 3 survivors to split up, do 1 generator each and be down another 3 generators in 80 seconds. That's 4-5 generators gone and you camped. If you have noed, you might get a second one, if survivors dont decide to do totems in the remaining 40 seconds they have while you camp the hook. Let alone that they can easily escape if they actually did pop 2 gens early.
So yeah, you're actively throwing your own game by camping.
Atleast I get the kill.

You need to slug more. And Mori's from time to time? You earned those Moris. They won't help you win games sitting in your inventory. What about face-camping? Using Insidious? Using Spirit? Putting everyone in the basement? Come on, you can do better!
Nope I'm not slugging. And I do facecamp. And no, I can't do better

You mean throwing the game?
No, so I don't have to deal with DS and so the survivors cant get to their teammate
-
My play style is tunneling, using noed, being toxic towards survivors as much as possible, applying lots and lots of pressure, and making the game un fun for the survivors. And also using mori from time to time.
-
I'm just gonna start camping lol
-
I get ######### pissed and camp someone next match, you dont escape from me ######### lol

Yes there is-- when I wish you ALL the luck I can :)!! So SUPER EXTRA GOOD LUCK IN YOUR NEXT MATCHES! Don't give up either, it took a lot of deaths for me to learn how to properly hit a skill check and now I'm dying... a little bit less lol
Well don't wish me luck.
-
Yeah don't wish me luck lol, there is none with this game lol
-
Nah I'm still tunneling lol

I came back to DBD after a break and I've been tunneled to death in every game I've played, so far. I was excited to do the the new archive but I think I'm ready for another break after two days worth of being tunneled. I don't think there is a solution. I think the event is inspiring people to get as many points as possible and tunneling is an easy way to accomplish that. Half of the time when someone unhooks me, if anyone unhooks me, at all, it almost feels like they're working with the killer. I'm tired of being in the middle of everyones greedy point grabs in this game. It seems like this game is really fun for about 1-2 years and then you get stuck playing with the same tunnelers over and over and it gets really old really quick. Maybe I should just play killer and tunnel everyone too and then it might be more fun somehow? At least I wouldnt be wasting anniversary cakes bc nobody can tunnel the killer. I just don't think that seems like fun though. What does everyone else do when they get tunneled, seemingly no matter what, every game?
Honestly, I feel no shame in tunneling at all, I really don't. I've been dealing with so many toxic survivors that I don't care anymore and will do everything to kill them.

Thank you for being considerate even in a competitive game. It means the world to me when I'm doing poorly as killer and have a player stare at me as they get taken by the EGC, or when killers who, even when they lose, still say 'gg' or something nice like that. We don't always have to play fair, and I think everyone falls into that mentality of 'well they can't win if we abuse this,' but whatever, it's a game lol. It's just super cool to meet players that respect each other even when things aren't going well for them. Sorry if this post is dumb, I just wanted to get this off my chest haha :)!
EDIT: So many people have seen this and commented!! I was half asleep and happy after a group of survivors sacrificed themselves on the cult symbol at midwich for me and was so grateful for nice players, and this post was made lol. I'm glad you are all sharing your stories and taking the time to discuss this together! Good luck and have fun in future matches, everyone <3!!
I don't play fairly with survivors who t bag, flashlight clickers, just survivors who are annoying and likes to annoy the killer. Therefore, I always tunnel, I always use NOED and other unfair perks.

Please take a good look at what you mentioned and try to distinguish what is, and what isn´t toxic. DBD can be a very frustrating game, this doesn´t mean certain mechanics are toxic.
Of course it´s a matter of perspective, but "gen rush"or healing in your FOV are not toxic as far as most people are concerned I´d assume.
BM on the other hand is, and it is a widespread problem - especially people that qeued as Survivor are guilty of that in my experience. In the end, it´s an online game, so you better grow a thicker skin and find a way to enjoy it still because trolls and ill mannered people won´t go away.
Ok, gen rushing may not be toxic but it is annoying, but healing in front of you definitely is saying "Haha you can't get me"
