Sometimes you gotta wonder, is this just a troll or are there people in the DBD community who thinks like this, and you start to realize why the game is the way it is

KILLERS are NERFED around high level play and SURVIVORS are BUFFED around casual play.
Nurse will never terrorize lower level survivors, but she was nerfed anyways because the best of the best players absolutely dominated with her.
Buffing survivors based around casuals only further OVERPOWERS them in the hands in the best players. We've seen countless examples of the killer NOT BEING THE POWER ROLE. Depip squad proved that, SWF proved that, and the fact that even sometimes, RANDOM SOLO prove that.
The only REAL issue here is MATCHMAKING. Potatoes are BOOSTED to red ranks and that gives the appearance of killers being stronger than they actually are. The only time survivors LOSE, is when they don't feel like winning.
Hard agree, it's getting to be quite disgusting how hard tournaments are nerfing survivors just to keep it on an even playing field with top spirit, nurse and blight killers. In BOTB current tourney rules were 2 unique perks, now current popular ruleset is to only have 1 unique perks(each survivor must have different exhaustions), max of yellow rarity items, only one type of item, can't open chests in the match, max yellow rarity addons, must open one gate within a limited time after finishing gens(can't 99 it for long),

All of your ideas are really bad:
- I wish there was a way to "warn" the killer that they are premades, so we can dodge the game if we want to.
Killers are already cherrypicking enough. And most of the time, they can stomp even SWFs, at least the casual ones. Let alone Solos. So Killers would just dodge until they have a full Solo-Lobby to have the easiest game possible.
- Give the killer some kind of "bonus", like an extra addon or something.
An extra Add On is no "Bonus", it is a very big Advantage. You are talking about 50% more Add Ons... I dont even want to think about the combinations possible.
- Increase the time for generators with 25%/35% and so on, depending on how big your premade group is.
Really bad idea. Like, I have faced 4 man SWFs which did not complete more than 3 Gens during the whole game. What should they do? Get even less of a chance to get out? And what would you do with a 3 man SWF and a Solo? Should the Solo suffer as well, because of the increased Gen Repair times?
- Decrease the times that you need to hook someone to use more to 1.
This would just make Moris overpowered again...
- Dont play against higher ranks, but lower since they have the upper hand to comunicate.
This would just increase Matchmaking Time. Also, Ranking is almost meaningless, e.g. someone at Rank 1 can play like a Rank 15, because it is way too easy to rank up. (Except for currently, because it seemed to be bugged)
- But a little box so we can choose if its okay for us to face premades or not. Ofcourse, the ones that are facing premades should get something extra from the match.
Again, would increase Matchmaking Times. So SWFs and Killers who want to play against Solos will have to wait LONG times to get into a game. Not really desireable.
IMO you should stop focussing on SWFs, way over 90% of SWFs are beatable.
Could just tell you if you're vs a SWF after the game, and not before. Then maybe new killers won't feel so bad when they have a rough match

I mean, I'd hope most people would aspire to be better than "average," I don't imagine people play this game thinking they'll be mediocre at it still a year later. So I don't get why balancing around higher levels of play than just average is a bad thing. Besides, even if you say that the highest level of DBD is too boring, then you could also say that it's because they don't balance for highest levels of play that made it to stale in the first place, cuz they don't bother changing anything
-
I'm indifferent to it, playing vs good survivors was more fun, but my blight Queue time started to approach 5-10 minutes and even that was starting to get too long for me
-
Depends, Blight is super fun to go against. Rather face a good nurse than a bad doctor who can't catch survivors and just makes them scream over and over

Idk where your playing at but those times are not accurate for me. Survivor 30 seconds or less, killer 20 minutes. I'm east coast and only play between the hours of 5pm - 11pm and it's been like this for idk roughly 2 weeks maybe 3. Oh I know maybe it's because the game is broke? It's broke for killer too but you need less killers then survivors.
what rank are you, im rank 1 both sides and survivor is 5-10 min wait time, killer is insta pop, in US east coast and only play at night post 7 pm

Im a survivor main but why does killers get so upset at gen rushing? I mean isnt gens the objective of the game is to get them done so you can open exit gates and get out? When i first load into a game if i see a gen right beside me ofc im going for that gen and try to pop it quickly before the killer comes over , Ive seen alot of survivors Gen Rush but i dont see a big deal about it on our side, thats what we are suppose to do is gens. So this "Gen Rushing" arguments are really stupid imo lol
Killers get mad? Most of the time it's just survivors leaving each other to dry on hook just to do gens.
-
Also, anyone think it's absurd that survivors have to wait 5 minutes or even more just to get in game, considering that dbd matches only last around 10 minutes? That's almost half of your playtime for the day spent in Queue, like compared to other games with team queues, that only happens at super high mmr in games like league
-
Yeah, I'm used to it by now. Survivors will just flame the ever living ######### out of each other in post game chat when they think the others threw the game. TBH, nowadays when I'm killer, I'm used to survivors flaming each other instead of me nowadays. More and more people are realizing that the problem in this game are other survivors
-
How did they mess up so badly that the playerbase looks forward to any genre competitor announcements and wants them to succeed lol

How the heck is "gen rushing" toxic? It's how survivors win. How much time should we give killers before we are allowed to start playing? What are killers going to do to be nice in return? And not to mention the tome literally adds secondary objectives for survivors that for many become primary objectives. I can't tell you how many games I've had where my teammates never even try to win, they just do what they need to do to get the challenges done.
The most toxic thing isn't killers to survivors, or survivors to killers. Legit gen rushing is your teammates letting you hit 2nd stage on hook or even die just because they want to stick to their gens. Or getting chased by killer, walking up to you, unhooking in their face, and farming you. imo the most toxic things in this game are thing survivors are allowed to do to each other. Like you're playing killer you hook a guy, you chase another dude, hook him, and you're like "######### they let the first guy hit 2nd stage?". Or you're survivor with kindred and you realize your teammates don't want to save you

Uncapping the fps doesn't let you do gens faster, doesn't make you run faster and make your chases longer. Altering the resolution to something the game and devs didn't intend to (isn't in the options) increases your fov and has a direct effect during chases, as you can see the killer on some higher tiles where you normally can't.
Is that really so hard to understand?
LOL that's not what I meant at all. Yes, devs don't want you going above 60 fps, or they wouldn't hard cap it at that unless you change it out of game. Yes, they don't want you going to special resolutions, otherwise they would just let you do it in the options. Both of these are out of game in your pc settings, so unless you want to allow BHVR to crawl through your pc and everyone elses, they can't ban for it. As far as DBD knows, your monitor runs at 144 fps only, and your monitor is a special 1440 x 720 from 10 years ago. Do they want you playing huntres/deathslinger with a crosshair? Course not, but they can't know you have a little red dot in the middle of your screen anyway

Those survivors are a bunch of cheaters.
With stretched you gain additional FOV and can look over tiles you normally can't. Any good survivor/killer knows that this is a huge advantage, loops where the survivor can see above/through means that the killer can't mindgame.
It really annoys me when people defend this obvious cheating (they fiddle with the game files to gain an unfair advantage over everyone else that plays fair). They should receive a temporary ban imo.
Dude you just set your desktop resolution to anything you want. People do this for all games that don't have resolution in options (mostly older games). You want to start banning people who get 144 fps too?

Has anyone talked to Oracle about this? What do they think? Do they think the game is fine, do they have suggestions on what they would do to fix things?

Most comp players know the game is incredibly survivor sided, that why tourneys are a team of 4 survivors and killer vs another team of survivor and killer, and is almost never survivor vs killer
