Just out of curiosity, what goes into your ranks?

Like when facing the clown, does this mean I should be having an easier game then against a nurse?

I'm not debating that they should switch I'm just wondering how people come to these conclusions about where on a list certain killers appear.

    Preference.

I like your idea its nice

    Let me ask

the power The Shadow's ability is this the power? Or it is just a active ability?

    It's the power.

  • Because the Spirit's movement speed was kinda op as well, it made me super irritated to look behind me and see the Spirit 5 ft away like "hehe boi".

  • OchiDo, because he makes a lot of his videos funny and is pretty dedicated. Bricky, because he makes great information about the killers, op builds, memey builds, and counters for those killers. Also, remember when Friday the 13th and Soul at Stake were supposed to overthrow dbd, yeah, those were good jokes.

They are looking into cross play and cross saves. They mentioned it in their new survey.

Yeah, I know, and I'm looking forward to it, because I have a lot of friends who play it on different consoles. Maybe they could ask Epic Games for help on that feature, because they implemented it immediately in their game Dauntless, and think that they may have mastered it. It may be a bad idea, but, it is a valid one.

  • I hope they have at least tweaked the spirit a bit for gameplay, because as a Survivor at the moment, I tend to find The Spirit incredibly irritating to play against because of their incredibly overpowered tactics. I know I'm probably just being salty, but the Spirit is super fast, which makes them incredibly difficult, even as a rank 17. I hope you understand my frustrations with The Spirit.

  • I really hope they are able to treat Switch players like PS4 and Xbox One players, and that they add cross-platform so me and my brother can play it together when we get it for Switch.

  • I have a list of killers I hate to go against

    1. Ghostface

    2. The Spirit

    3. The Clown

    4. The Nightmare

As for the killer I am bad with, I will have to come back to you when I have tried the killers available, but so far, the Trapper.

I hate Ghostface the most because all of the Ghostface Killers I've come across had an iridescent mori and used it when you are an annoyance. It's a really toxic mori as well, and I hate it.

  • Really, if you can avoid it, try not to get mad over mistakes devs have made and instead focus on what they did right, and think about the time it takes to program a single character and edit its attributes to balance the game. It takes them forever just to do one thing, and they are constantly being treated bad for their mistakes, because of this, they probably have a ton of pressure and stress, causing them to make more mistakes. If you stop demanding changes and start complimenting them for what they did well, there is a possibility that the things you want changed will happen sooner then if you dissed and put a bunch of stress on them.

  • There are multiple types of campers, but face campers tend to be toxic or salty for their own reasons, although there are some face campers that do it to secure their kill, because of the fear of never finding them after they are unhooked, I always play as the Hag so I don't have to face camp because of my phantasm traps. Because of my tactic, I tend to go out of my way to teleport back to the trap, which causes survivors to get salty or sad. I know this is the Hag's version of face camping, but I can't help it after one survivor in my previous matches as different killers always escapes because of the failure of crossing the map fast enough.

  • I think it's more of the fact that nurse is one of the slowest killers and the spirit is just plain irritating, or it's because they see so many youtubers abuse the pallet correctly, so they want to be able to as well. They look up to people who can and want to be like them or they are so irritated, they want to try to embarrass the killer. I have been in this situation many times and these were the main reasons. The spirit is one of the few causes of my irritation and the nurse is just because I want to be like OchiDo or another great dbd youtuber.

  • I'm sorry if this offends some people, I don't know much about cultures, so I hope you would forgive me for any misconceptions I make.

Your killer tier list is really a matter of your playstyle, not of the facts. Some people are SS with Hag, like me, others are SS with Ghostface, so when you post a tier list, it's really just your personal tier list, kind of like Super Smash Bros Ultimate. That's the reason they have a variety of characters, so you can find the one that fits you most. I'm a Hag and a William "Bill" Overbeck, although I am gonna try out Wraith to see how I feel about Wraith. Edilibs didn't really specify on what playstyle they are good with or by their specific traits like lunge or movement speed

  • I love breaking the killer's ankles as bill with borrowed time, spine chill, lithe, and windows of opportunity.

    cross-console, sure

    pc, no

I agree, cross-console would be great because I could play with my friends, but once you add PC to cross platform list, the game is more irritating then fun for console players.

This all sounds pretty amazing, and I think there is always room for improvement, so there is always something you can make better, for me, I th think that Only Child needs to be changed up a bit, because of the high chance of getting a toolbox seems pretty op if used right. At least make the chance below 60%, so its not gonna be the best survivor perk in this game. And the only counter to this survivor perk would be a perk similar to Franklin's Demise, which is really difficult for people who don't have the requirements for the perk, making it a little overpowered for baby killers and such.

And, FYI, I started within the last few months

In this chapter there will be a new map, one new Killer, and two new Survivors.

The map is a rundown mansion that has bodies of bodyguards, butlers, maids and cooks littered in each room according to their jobs, cooks in the kitchen, bodyguards in the rooms, maids and butlers thrown about the mansion.

The Killer would be called The Shadow. It was created from childrens' nightmares, 7 feet tall and skinny, with hanging arms almost touching the floor, claws protruding out from its fingers, and is black like a shadow with red beady eyes.

    The Shadow's perks would be:

Shadow's Home: is able to see Survivors in lockers from 12, 24 36, etc.

Hex: Darkness: When the Survivor is injured, the Mist gets significantly thicker, making it difficult for them to see.

Hex: Shadows Follow: When a Survivor has completed a generator, They will be Slown down for 5, 10, 15 seconds.

Darkness Within: When a Survivor is hit, they will be revealed for 5, 10, 15 seconds to the Killer.

The Shadow's ability would be to teleport to a nearby locker, has a cooldown of 15 seconds.

AFRAID OF THE DARK Chapter's backstory is:

"Mike was always scared of the closet. He always thought something would pop out and try to eat him.

One night, he had trouble sleeping and rolled over to see blood red, glistening eyes staring back at him. When he screamed, it retreated into the closet. His parents asked what was wrong and he responded with The Shadow monster.

A few nights later, his parents burst into his room after he screamed louder than thought possible. What they saw appalled them.

A tall and skinny creature stood at the foot of the bed, eating something. The parents sprinted down the stairs and opened the front door to find that the Entity had brought them into another realm for a deadly game."

The new Survivors would be 6 ft adults, one male, one female. Their names would be Jason and Daisy Herd.

Jason is a healthy man but had the face of constant labor. He had black hair and had a goatee of a villain.

Daisy was a kind and energetic woman with blonde hair going down to her shoulders.

    Jason's perks would be:

Fatherly Love: when healing a survivor, decrease chances of a skill check by 10%, 18%, 25%, but slows healing speed by 7%, 10%, 13%.

Hard Working: increases generator repair speed by 10%, 13%, 17%, but decreases great skill check success zone by 5%, 8%, 11%.

Power Nap: Exhausted status effect can be shortened by hiding in a locker, has a cooldown of 30, 20, 10

Old Habits Die Hard: Because of mechanical knowledge, when you miss a skill check, you will be prompted with a faster skill check, has a cooldown of 15 seconds

    Daisy's perks will be:

Daily Jog: When running, will gain Haste status effect for 6, 8, 12 seconds, but will gain Exhausted status effect after Haste wears off.

Mother's Pride: After healing another Survivor, gains Endurance status effect for 5, 7, 10 seconds, has a cooldown of 20 seconds.

Daisy's Perfume: The Scent of Daisy's Perfume opens other Survivors' aura reading ability, allowing them to see the Survivor using Daisy's Perfume from 16, 24, 32.

Motherly Care: Increases healing speed by 15%

The Teachable Perks and their unlock level:

    The Shadow's Teachables

    Shadow's Home: 30

    Hex: Shadows Follow: 35

    Darkness Within: 40

    Jason's Teachables:

    Fatherly Love: 30

    Hard Working: 35

    Old Habits Die Hard: 40

    Daisy's Teachables:

    Motherly Care: 30

    Daily Jog: 35

    Mother's Pride: 40

I will possibly repost this soon to keep it recent

Thanks for your input, it's really just an idea, I have no clue if the dbd devs will actually see this, and even if they do, they might not even consider it.

Also I used up about 50 brain cells for this, so if they don't, it would've been in vain

Shadow's Home is cool, but definitely needs a decrease in range. 6/12/18 meters I think would work.

Hex:Darkness is weak. Even if the shroud only effects the Survivor hit, it does nothing. Lack of ability to see doesn't matter since they can still see the Killer's red stain. Maybe injured Survivors can't see dropped/undropped pallets unless they are within 16/14/12 meters of the pallet (but they can still see the broken parts of a pallet if it were broken.)

Hex: Shadows Follow is just as weak as Hex: Darkness. Maybe for 12/18/24 seconds, Survivors just exiting a chase still hear the chase music? Or maybe if a Survivor stops sprinting during a chase, they are slowed by 12/16/20%?

Darkness Within needs to be for 1/2/3 seconds. Other than that, pretty good perk.

The power is incredibly weak, and I think too simple and not really like a shadow. I don't really know another power it could have, though.

I won't comment on the Survivors, since I'm more of a killer main.
