  • As a killer main I can say I actually understand the need for DS, but I can't say I like all its current implementations. I don't mind if it allows a survivor to heal, or do generators, hell they can even hide in lockers for all I care, let them, if they hide in there they are not doing generators.

What I dislike about DS however is that it works as a guaranteed escape if they still have it active, and they get unhooked after all the generators are gone or the EGC has begun. If they get off the hook for any reason at that point, you're gonna lose that kill because DS will save them and I can count the number of killers capable of getting 2 downs with a 5-second stun between them before the survivor gets out of the map on less than 3 fingers, especially if the survivor has any form of exhaustion perk as well.

Further more there are no maps I am aware of where a survivor can't crawl out in less than a minute especially if they have been gunning for that exit practically the entire time.

That is the only thing I dislike about DS, that if they get downed with it during that stage of the game, it's a guaranteed escape because you cannot do ANYTHING to stop them, you can't slug them, they will just crawl out still, you can't pick them up, they will stun you and run out.

And while Pyramid Head can deal with that issue, provided the survivor was stupid enough to let themselves get tormented, that's still a bit to stringed a "counter" that I think that's entirely fair that the survivors have an otherwise guaranteed escape at that point in the game. It's actually a bit reminiscent of the Spirit vs Iron Will, only in reverse, instead of a perk countering a killer it's a killer countering a perk. It's such a narrow counter that while calling it a counter is true, calling it a fair counter, is not.

I am fine with the perk preventing tunneling during the early, middle and even later stages of the game. But I am not fine with a guaranteed escape card for a survivor that screws up during the final phase of the game (purposefully or otherwise) just because they have yet to burn their DS.

The only chance you'd have to use it in that situation is if another survivor was still on hook, or you were hooked before their death animation completed, otherwise you insta-die, which is kinda stupid especially if you weren't hooked a single time. They should at least change the system to let you try escape and if you fail and hit struggle, then insta-death.

To what end? If that was the case the killer would just stand there and safeguard the hook and hit you the moment you got off. So letting you struggle is pointless. There is no way for the survivor to survive at that point, they will just be slugged then force the killer to babysit their guts for 1 minute to put them back on the hook to dodge DS. Neither side would find that entertaining at all.

  • PH's Final Judgement has enough range to actually take out a survivor that have crawled through the barrier, personally already reported it ages ago.

  • You were using one of the add-ons that lower the time it takes for his power to naturally recharge, if you do this bug happens if you would max out naturally, it's a known bug that still hasn't been fixed.

  • That's a known bug, it's currently being worked on. basically getting too close to certain pieces of terrain will get you stuck for no apparent reason. Can happen to the killer to, but they can just attack the terrain to get loose.

  • More importantly, was this within 2.5 seconds of being shocked by a Doctor, if it was then know that being shocked will prevent you from doing ANYTHING except running around for 2.5 seconds

  • Well, if the gens flew past that's still only gonna be bronze then.

  • Crossplay can only be turned off at the main menu, if you select to play as killer or survivor it's greyed out. That being said, opting out is going to cause issues right now, as you will only be able to play with others who have opted out, for some silly reason. This will result in way longer wait times and a VERY high chance of being booted to less than ideal servers.

  • Considering how obviously there is no way in hell that's normal, seeing as the upper and lower floors of The Game are not aligned in a fashion that would allow a chase. As such, I would venture a guess and say that Wraith was hacking. Even more damning evidence of that is that the wraith had to come upstairs to pick you up.

As for the Nurse, seems to me like she did a short blink to whack you as you could hear her exhaustion sound just after she hit you. The camera unfortunately doesn't swing far enough to show her current location though, so I can't say for sure if that was it.

  • Not only insufferably long but also tends to boot you to other servers at an alarming frequency, once had a ping up in 300

  • it's a known bug that can happen if the fury meter fills up because of passive gain while using addons that increases the passive gain, surprised this hasn't been fixed yet to be honest :/

  • Update. Had another 112 happen and once more it had a double hook death during the Trial. Not the last two, but even so there is decidedly a pattern here. If anyone else who read this have this happen during double hook deaths, please chime in, might help the devs fix the error faster.

  • You were still in the pickup animation, which cannot be interrupted by anything. Had this been a flashlight save the effect would have kicked in as the animation ended, since it lasts a while. But since it was just a pallet, this happened instead.

  • Only lost around 300k myself what sucks more is that the error consumes your addons even if you burned a Ward, that really sucked.

Make that 700k so far, at least the frequency have dropped of late, not sure why.

  • Unless hacks was involved, the only thing that could potentially explain that would be that you went down due to the Deep Wound timer from Borrowed Time expiring.

  • That sounds like you had a hacker in the game that decided to troll everyone

  • You are up against a Huntress, which can be heard from the humming. She could be running Iridescent Head, which lowers her max axes by 4, but that one remaining Axe is an insta down. A good huntress could potentially get that axe to hit a target from outside her terror radius, But I find it strange there was no sound from the projectile if that was the case. So this is probably a hacker.

EDIT: in the end screen it is clear the Huntress was not running Iridescent Head, so hacker is the most likely answer.

  • I have seen this a few times in my games as well, not sure what causes it though, will keep an eye out.
