It's the beginning of the end. They know the games going under and they want to grab as much money as possible before it flops. Bring it in, act like it will improve the game, charge more money, wait and enjoy the cash flow.
I've loved this game for the past 15 months I've played and I can barely stomach it anymore. I've bought all the DLC and played countless hours, but this battle pass system is a straight cash grab with minimal rewards!
Talk about straight grinding! The amount of time one has to play to get from tier to tier and the wait times included (infuriating).
I really wish they would spend more time and effort fixing the base play and ability of the game instead of throwing more content in that just gets broken with everything else.

6 or 7 games in an hour is absurd! I've played for over a year on ps4 and never have I been able to complete more than 4 or 5 games in an hour. You say switch roles for faster que?! Killer que is never instant anymore and even after you find a lobby you have to wait for the survivors to show up. I don't even want to talk about how slow survivor que is.

BHVR dropped the ball (again) but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy our trick r treating during Thanksgiving right?! Who doesn't love candy corn stuffed turkey!?!
At this point I'm not sure the event will even be a thing this year, I know many I play with along with myself aren't even going to bother with it anymore.

@TOP, I play on ps4 and we don't have dedicated servers at this time.

Rank is a joke, it holds absolutely no purpose in this game. The matchmaking system based off it never works properly because BHVR can't fix it without breaking something else and when they go fix that they break matchmaking again.
To top it off even after over 3 years you still get no reward for ranking up other than to say u can do it. The reward you currently get for progressing to red ranks is sweaty killers and survivors that ruin the game for there own enjoyment.

Everyone whine too much, the spirit is just fine. She's easily juked when phasing and she requires skill to use to begin with, phase and everyone disappears is not easy to do. I can agree prayer beads should be ultra rare but not removed.

Nobody seems to notice that BHVR just isnt good at fixing its problems. There are hundreds of memes and parodies for the "pretty good job so far" comment. BHVR has been keeping this game going for 3 years, and as far as I can tell, hasnt learned a damned thing. They fix these bugs here and create more bugs there, the problem is they keep going back and forth. It seems if the lobbies aren't broken my daily rituals are broken if the dailies work the lobbies don't.

Definitely!! If farming is happening for a weekend long x2bp event, don't play this weekend it bother you so much.

EST NA PS4 player here and I'm having the same issues. Played for an hour yesterday, 5 different killer lobbies. Each time either me or my same rank 5 survivor buddy would get disconnected. Either during load into lobby or while waiting for everyone to ready up. Quit trying after hour.
My killer lobbies take 5 minutes or more to start and it takes another 5 minutes to find 4 survivors. Rank 16 killer

I'm just curious what everyone thought. The addons to move faster recover faster seem to help a little but the time increase for being undetectable and increase to seal a portal are absolutely worthless. Perhaps the increase to seal a portal would b viable (with a decent increase to time) but the killer undetectable is complete trash. They can hear u coming!!

Do you not play? The lobbies take 5+ minutes to start a lobby as host as killer! Then another 5+ minutes to find all the survivors. On the survivor end your waiting 10+ minutes for a match you get disconnected from or your friend gets disconnected from if your trying swf. Game crashes forcing me onto the loading screen when loading into game saying I have to be connected to the internet to play but I'm still in a chat party with my friends. Resetting my daily's, resetting my progress.

I know and understand its hard and its difficult to get right. I'm not trying to discredit there efforts but you have a whole team of people and 3 years plus now experience. Just don't understand how fixing 20 things sets other things (that worked fine before) back to the drawing board.

@Mushwin I'm sure there intent is to screw the survivors with the DC as it leaves them with no points and takes the offering, (and items 99% of the time) leaving the survivor with a ######### game like the killer felt they got.

Ya I've seen it I dont understand forfeiting your BP tho. Makes no sense to me. They get mad and DC to punish the survivors but you waited to long and just punish yourself.

You'll never see Jason on here, (Idk why you would even consider it when he got his own game) with licensing and copyrights I highly doubt Jason will ever b on DbD.
I would love to see Alien and Sigourney that would pretty damned amazing. Demogorgon sure as hell was never human.

It's all about the ping baby! The higher your ping the longer it takes for what the killer sees to be what you see. The game is a peer to peer connection with the killer being the host, if you aren't connecting well with the killer (killer has bad internet, plays on wifi) your timing will be off and you have to mentally compensate for that. It all comes down to how good you and the killers internet is and how well they connect to each other. I can connect to just about anyone here in the states and have a ping of 40-70ms but get me a killer from Spain and I'm avg. 200-400ms.

I think you are still a fledgling Demogorgon. There is more nuance to this killer than I initially expected. Learning to use the portals correctly is a big part to playing this killer. You really shouldn't run around dropping all your portals at the start of the match.
I would however, strongly encourage you to put a portal near an exit gate immediately. You don't want to find yourself in a position at the end of the match where all your portals are used up and you can't place one near the exit gate or alternatively just don't have time to get to both exit gates before they are opened. Placing portals near exit gates at the start of the match has always paid dividends for me.
Another aspect of the portals is using them for information. You can get the killer instinct information if survivors are near portals. But you need to charge your shred attack to do so. So placing portals near key locations such as hex totems or hooked survivors and periodically charging your attack can give lots of good intel. Also, just good killer intuition and timing when to go back to a portal near a hooked survivor can really get good results.
The point is that you don't want to use up all your portals at the start of the match since the battlefield changes as the game progresses. Drop one at an exit gate and another near your hex ruin and then get to hooking survivors. Then drop a portal near the hooked survivor and let the farming begin. If you are playing Demo like Trapper then you are doing it wrong my friend.
I agree entirely. With every new killer comes new strategy and problems. Learning how to use them to the full potential is half the fun.

There's nothing fair about this game. Everyone wants to win and crush the opponent. Every game has loopholes and ways to be abused. Killer having the ability to see rank will only increase the abuse as much as survivors (now having said ability) has increased abuse of dodging.
