The thing is, Predator doesnt cripple you. Its just a matter of preference. I personally prefer this version over the last one because it allows you to follow a trail a lot easier, instead of seeing scratchmarks on a wall and potentially confusing you. That said, I dont use it anyway, because there are better perks than it.

For killers, the worst perk is definitely either Overwhelming Presence or Surveillance.
For Survivors, either Streetwise (ironically, the counter to Overwhelming Presence) or Up The Ante. Maybe Premonition.

I run streetwise all the time and its pretty good, Surveillance is useless but it doesn't hurt you, and Overwhelming is good in mid-low tiers. I'm trying to have the most balanced view across all ranks and killers.

  • Yeah i've seen people run PWYF and he can do work against the survivors

Below Freddy, garbage perks as well.

I wouldn't say below Freddy but after seeing him and playing him I do believe he is a bit underpowered at the moment.

  • No one left behind is one of those perks that nobody remembers for good or for bad.

  • He's ment to put pressure on survivors and force them to stop working on gens and mend themselves or other survivors. Also, hitting a deep wounded survivor cancels frenzy but still takes out a chunk of the deep wound bar. It always takes time to fully comprehend the killer's power and how to best use it but eventually people will learn and that is when we will truly see his full potential.

  • Legion is gonna commit not feel good when I run that.

  • Regarding all your responses:

Vigil: It's good in combination with exhaustion perks like sprint burst.

Surveillance: Even though it's completely useless, it's not actively hurting you like predator

Left Behind: Probably tied with Sole Survivor, but Left Behind doesn't directly promote anti-altruism.

Unnerving Presence: In rank 1 yes without a doubt, but I'm taking into consideration all ranks and in rank 20-10 it is pretty good.

  • I'm just hoping that the Freddy rework will make him viable.

They need to make him more true to his movie character i.e. has a host of different powers once in the DreamWorld. His add-ons could support this (e.g. add-ons that let him teleport / block windows / doors / throw projectiles) . Currently he's just like any other slasher killer when in the DreamWorld.

Good suggestion, but remember that in order to pay less in royalties, Freddy in the game is based off of the 2010 Platinum Dunes remake, and his powers are different and don't seem as powerful.

  • I like your suggestions, but what Freddy needs the most is a buff to his chase potential. increased movement speed is really the only way to do that without making him OP.
