I've never had much luck with whisper. But thank you for the advice overall.
I actually just got a nice 4 kill using: Pop Goes the Weasel, BBQ, Overcharge and Surveillance. Very satisfying.

What platform do you play on?
I'm looking for some players on Ps4 :)
-
That's exactly it. Very annoying, although I'm grateful to still get the bloodpoints at least!
-
I think you may be right, they were using Dying Light.
I wasnt aware there was a bug related to the perk. My bad. Makes sense, as it never happened when I played killer and I didn't have that perk active.
Thanks for filling me in!

Haha fair enough!
I just think it would be nice addition to the game. It fits into the lore nicely if its framed as an offering to the entity and it allows players another way to advance their progression while still paying a price in return!
It's so annoying when you're only a few blood points away from a perk you really want or the next level, and a quick way to get the blood points you need would be handy!

Personally I have my own grievances with the bloodweb. Once you start unlocking more and more teachable perks from other characters I find it becomes really difficult to find the perks unique to the character you're playing as.
So for example, my Nancy only has one of her unique perks at level 3, while the other 2 are at level 1. It's really annoying as I want to experiment with different builds and have these perks at the right level for me to utilise them to full effect.
I think that the unique perks should be prioritised for the character they apply to. Again, let's say that Nancy's bloodweb should have a higher chance of spawning her own 3 perks before other perks. At least for the first 30 levels.
Just my opinion..

I'll always downvote/report someone in the post game if they DC.
9/10 it will be because they're having a bad game throwing a tantrum or just want to ruin the game for everyone else.
There may be an algorithm in place, but the reporting system is there to speed up the process in finding these players.
Certainly in the example you have given, you should 100% report them. Toxic behavior like that should be penalised.
-
Sometimes they will blow up a gen to distract you from something else. Or, if they're confident at looping and chasing, then they may just be trying to lure you out to distract you and run you around.
Its pretty toxic and can be infuriating when they're clearly more skilled than you. (Has happened to me a lot ๐)
You just have to learn when they're baiting you and when its genuine. Comes with time and practice.

Consider also running bamboozle, despite its bad fame, it's a decent perk, especially to counter infinites.
Ask anything you need to.
I just bought the Clown actually, so I'll start working my way to unlock Bamboozle!

When you say "active", you mean yellow right? Also for the abyss thing , i know that. Thank for the answer
Sorry, yes when they're yellow. I only figured it out myself after a few games. I thought it wasnt working correctly when killer instinct never came up.
But knowing that, it can be used as a tool to lure survivors towards a certain location as they will want to cleanse it asap!
Happy to help :)

If their looping you around an infinite (or really long loops, like Grim Pantry central building, McMillan ironworks, fractured cowshed, torment creek god window) there isn't a guideline to follow for every situation. If you're a Trapper you can block the infinite, Doc and Clown kinda too. But the thing you need to understand is when you have to leave a loop (this is also important when you come across strong setups, which you need to recognize).
Against swf, altruism is their biggest flaw, so expect to get instasaves or people around the hook. Camp survivors if 10 seconds remains for the next state, if someone tries to save always aim for the savior. To stall the game despite being bad, ruin is still the best, pop is also good. Also discordance is good against teams.
Yeah I think your right. I guess knowing when to stop the loop comes with practice really, and getting better at the game.
Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.

Hey ColoursBleed I agree with you an alien chapter would be nice it would have been better than demo
Do you not like the Demogorgan? I think it's quite refreshing to have a killer that's a bit different to the rest of the crop.
Seeing it leap towards you during a chase is so intense, I love it. I'm not a big fan of the portals though, they just seem a bit lacklustre.
-
Yeah, I usually realise that they're trying to distract me but sometimes it's too late (my mistake for taking the bait).
Makes sense though! I just wondered if there were any techniques on countering a loop or a way to gain the upper hand in that situation.
-
I would love to see an Alien chapter.
Have a Xenomorph as the killer and Ripley as the survivor. It could even include a map based on a space ship or something as well. I think it would be something really different and unique!
I've wanted this even more since the Demogorgan as they have shown that a beastial killer is possible and can be really fun.

I got the Legion on release, but I instantly regretted it.
Jeff Is a decent survivor, but I just couldn't get to grips with playing as legion. Personally, I would reccomend going for The Spirit or Michael Myers if you dont already have them. I've had a lot of fun using those two.

I believe it only activates once a portal is active. Also, it will only start when you use the abyss part of your power.
