My post was nothing about facecamping, it was about hookswarmers and body blockers.
If you swarm the hook as Bubba you get what you deserve. And I am putting 500 hours into him right now and see it every single match.
Don't swarm the hook, that is literally WHY BBUBBA EXISTS, if Bubba catches two or more at hook, it's not his faul;t, it is yours
I’m not talking about hook swarming specifically, but I understand that with the wording I chose about ‘no matter how many go for the save’ it would seem that way. I was saying that with Bubbas power, he can 100% prevent hook saves by insta-downing survivors, and even with more survivors involved, doesn’t necessarily improve chances of success. Sorry I should have taken more time to write it out, I just wanted to keep it simple.

Bubba was given to us specifically to deal with those types of players. Hence Franklins, BBQ etc,... to understand Bubba you have to remember where the game was at that time.
Bodyblocking and hookfarrming is meta. I record all my matches, play Bubba daily, you know how many times 2-3 are at hook to save the one person?
EVERY GAME
The hook swarming is necessary. Bubba traditionally camps, one person usually tries to bait him away while the other person goes for the hook. It’s not some toxic or idiotic survivor tactic, it’s a direct result to Bubbas play style.

"You have a killer who can 100% prevent hook saves regardless of how many survivors attempt."
Translation: we want to hook farm bodyblock booly da killer but Bubba wont let us
This is called a ‘slippery slope logical fallacy’ it’s where you take a simple request like ‘hey this killer has too much power in one key area’ and take the idea to the furthest extreme to make it sound unreasonable, like suggesting a small tweak would result in aggressive bully hook farming and body blocking.

Well considering there’s a 4v1 Evil Dead game, a 4v1 Leatherface, a new game from Gun that’s suppose to be in the same vein of Friday the 13th and a 4v1 Ghostbusters game coming out this year (all of which offer bots single player and multiplayer) bots and unranked is past due.

If you’re on console (PlayStation) you can rotate killers and survivors by holding the X button while pushing the stick. I imagine it would be the same. Maybe try that. I can’t comment on anything other than PlayStation though

It all boils down to this. When you play against Bubba, everyone essentially has permanent exposed status. Unlike Oni, Ghostface, Shape etc, he doesn’t have to earn it.
The only other killer that has that same ability is the hillbilly. Now compare the difficulty of scoring a hit for the AVERAGE DBD player on each of those killers. Bubba is infinitely easier to control and unlike hillbilly, he can easily use it while looping. Secondly, he can use it to hit multiple survivors, which the hillbilly also cannot do.
He needs a severe nerf. I hate playing against the hillbilly. Every time I have a game against one, I honestly wish I had disconnected by the time it is over. I would rather sit in the lobby for however long rather than face a Bubba anymore. There is a risk/reward bell curve and I never see anyone score enough points in a game against Bubba. I think the reason his kill rate is so low is because it doesn’t count a disconnect as a kill. I’m confident that he’s the killer with the most disconnects.

I don’t think it would be abused in the same way at all. The abuse of those “you cans die on hook” was in holding the game hostage, how would this be abused? You can’t force a killer to face camp you. I can’t see this being abused it’s completely relying on the killer to do something.
But I do agree that there should be a delay before its activated, so it only starts with legitimate face camping and not fair patrolling the immediate area after a hook.
It should also be noted that this is a perk and will take up a vital perk slot and the survivor may not even get any value out of it. That’s a good risk/reward scenario. The less you face camp the more handicapped the survivors who waste a perk slot.
-
Really though, I would be pissed if a bot was the feeding tokens to the killer. Would a bot be smart enough to prioritize healing when going up against an Oni or play more stealthily if they’re the obsession and the killer is clearly running play with your food? You don’t play the same against a plague as you would a legion. Would a bot be able to conform to that? I think that’s what the devs meant by the human element.

This would be great for me too. I had a primary account on PS4, my son took it over when I stopped playing, and I couldn’t play on it because he was rank 1 (old system) and the players were too tough for me. So I made a second account so we could do SWF and basically started over. If I could have all the cosmetics on my new account, I would be ecstatic.
-
I think the possibility of self unhooking on second hook is fair. Most people get saved on second hook, it’s not like unhooking yourself is going to make much of a change. It’s going to happen anyway. Perhaps after unhooking the survivor suffers from Broken, Mangled and Oblivious. That way the killer still has a chance of finding them again, but giving the survivor a fighting chance.
I know it could be abused at high mmr, but I think it would be fair for the majority of average players and be especially helpful to newer players since it’s one of the free perks.

Some additional suggestions could be clicking on the thumbs up would simply gift the person a random offering/add-on or item. Perhaps random with a small chance to get something amazing like a purple or pink add-on.

Meanwhile BHVR likes to pretend this thread doesn't exist.
How little respect does this company even have for its dedicated players? Simply terrible. At this point I just want them to respond, I won't repeat my earlier arguments anymore. Just keep this thread up until they finally give in.
Doing my part to keep the thread alive until we get an appropriate response

I’m saving this entire thread. As soon as the next dlc comes out I’m going to remind everyone that they shouldn’t buy it because it could just go on sale in a few days without warning.
Hopefully it makes people just not but it at all.

The basic thing is this:
people are pissed about the event and they are giving a discount on the skins as an apology. But the people who paid full price essentially don’t get an apology. They get screwed.
They have the right to do so and aren’t obligated to refund, but it truly is not giving their most dedicated players the same consideration or apology that everyone else gets.
-
They have a record of gamer tags of everyone who has purchased the skins. It would be a simple move to refund the difference.
If they refund, they regain the trust of those who bought it and the community who are convinced that the company is excessively greedy. Not refunding will just prove all the haters right and add fuel to the fire by alienating everyone who bought it.
They dont have to, but it would be a poor business decision not to. People buying the skins aren’t casual fans, they’re the more dedicated and more active in forums. Keeping them happy will keep them buying the next dlc and the next skins. If they don’t refund a few dollars now, it’ll cost them a lot more in the long run.

I feel scammed too. Do you know how long it takes to amass over 40k of shards?? I bought 2 outfits full price and now this discount is just a punch in the face. I will remember that, when further DLCs come out. Bet on it, Behaviour.

This is me too. I’m a casual survivor main, but there’s no killers on PS4 anymore. So I switch to killer just to play, get a match instantly for my level 17 killer against all red survivors.
My choices are to either not play at all or play an unfun game against significantly better players.
No thanks.
I can only rank down against such players, zero chance to rank up, zero chance to get a sufficient amount of bloodpoints to get better perks. No real chance of moving anywhere except down.
No thanks

The devs need to stretch the length of the match without adding anything of value. Healing has slowed, the time it takes to do a gen is slowed, opening the exit gate is slowed, all to make the match last longer to give the killer more time to find survivors.
If you want matches to last longer, add more content, and things to do, don’t just slow everything down. I would rather have to do an extra gen than to have all gens and gates take longer.
