mother's dwelling didn't need the change but temple of purgation feels a lot better to play on.
-
palette increase on borgo was a bit of an overkill.
forgotten ruins is just an awful map all around but i guess the increase in palettes does help make it less miserable for survivor.
-
just rework these damn maps already. both maps are awful in every conceivable way. the palette change just made it even more insufferable.

They can't implement changes overnight. They're clearly aware of the issues with him because Mandy said the devs are working on tweaks. But you guys need to understand that there are many variables to work through before those changes can go live. They have to monitor the killer's performance and the community's feedback to see what works and what doesn't, and to do that, they have to let him settle in first. Also, they can't just throw random numbers in and hope it works, they have to talk about it as a team and test these changes before they go through. And, it has to come in a hotfix and those take time because it's not just one or two things that get changes or fixes, they can't just release one the next day.

I feel you, very notable bugs affecting Laurie Strode's skin have been in the game since the engine update last year, and they're still there despite many reports and comments. I tried making a new report today too.
DBD is a big game and they constantly release new stuff too, so I understand that bugs affecting the lesser popular survivor characters like Elodie and Laurie are gonna be at the bottom of the list. Still, it'd be nice to get at least an ETA or a "we'll look into it in the (next/summer event/ 1 year from now) update.
Personally, even if I understand it's inevitably a low priority, having spent 10 bucks on a skin that has been completely broken for more than one year is really upsetting, especially as more popular characters like Feng and her missing thighs get their bugs solved in 1-2 updates. Currently, my main's default outfit is the only outfit of hers that doesn't have any bugs :(That’s where my issues lie, and why it’s getting so frustrating. We’ve spent actual money on these skins, and some of them feel unusable because of how broken or distracting they look. We shouldn’t be still begging for these fixes, especially when they’re quick to fix bugs pertaining to other characters. Just a couple months ago, when Sable’s deep rift gargoyle skin looked almost identical to her default rift skin, it was fixed the very next patch like two weeks later. My initial post here has been ‘under review’ for almost three months now, and there’s been two patches since, and that’s not accounting for the other ways we’ve tried contacting them for fixes. I just want to be able to use her Modern Baroque headpiece without it looking ugly, and put cosmetics together without nearly every single one clipping in one way or another.
-
8.6.1 Update: Still haven’t been fixed. Most of these bugs have been present for about a year or more. We’ve commented under social media posts, emailed support, posted in this bugs thread, and we’ve still yet to see fixes.
-
8.6.0 Update: Above bugs are still in the game 2 months later. However, it's only the first patch since reporting so I'm not too worried and I'll give it some time. I have since noticed a few more bugs I'd like to report without creating a whole new thread.
5. Her Old Cami (Cozy Break) torso clips through a few of her leg pieces.
6. Her Modern Baroque torso (Corset Top) clips through in-game while performing certain actions.

Oh boy, I've been waiting for this one.
Imo, Hag doesn't need to be 115%, if her power gets buffed. My changes to her would be these:
• Increasing the teleport range to 54 or 56 meters (since with the current Hag you HAVE to run range add-ons)
• She gets a 10 or even 15% movement speed boost after teleporting to a trap for a few seconds. (The devs added the wipe mechanic for a reason, take your S Tech somewhere else)
• She now gets a loud noise notification when a trap gets wiped away, and doesn't get one when a trap is tripped. (You stil have the HUAaaaa sound)
• She gets an add-on pass.
I’m not exactly saying Hag needs to be 115% or any of the other aforementioned killers need to be 110%. I’m just making a point that her kit in the state it’s in now is outdated and doesn’t have the lethality it used to because of how much the game has grown and changed, but Hag really hasn’t changed much with it. The only real meaningful change she’s had is the trap wiping, and then some small buffs last year that really didn’t do much to help her. And on top of that, she has a slower base speed. That doesn’t mean she needs to be faster, or Hillbilly needs to be slower. Just that she has a niche power that is pretty weak outside of lower MMR and she is slow, which together hinder her.
I do agree with you that she could really benefit from a short duration of haste after teleporting to a trap, or even a longer lunge. And I do agree that she needed that QoL change of wiping traps for survivors. I only think she needs some meaningful changes to put her in a good spot.

I guess trickster rework hasn't taught us anything
Not sure the point you're trying to make.
The problem with Trickster isn't that he's 115. He was too weak as a 110 killer because it takes too many ranged hits to deal damage and was too slow to rely on his M1 during chase, on top of the fact that he was very map-dependent, and had no map pressure. Even as one of the weakest killers with a low pick-rate and low kill-rate, people still hated going against him. So being 115 clearly isn't the problem. The problem is that the average player simply finds his kit annoying to play against. Nothing is going to solve that.

Yeah… I didn't actually know Spirit was 110 but it explained some of my games with her over time. You have to be absolutely sound in your power use or it's rough, unlike other killers where you can always fall back on M1. As for Hag, why was she ever 110?
Otoh killers like Slinger and Huntress are fine.
It made more sense for Hag to be 110 back when she was first introduced. Her traps were much stronger and more oppressive because essentially her only counter was crouching. Unless you happened to have a flashlight to burn her traps, there was little you could do. You couldn't get rid of her traps before chase because the only way to get rid of them was to set them off, so if she had traps at any loops, they were unsafe to loop at. So it made sense she had to be slower.
Things are obviously different now. This is why I say I understand the argument that she shouldn't be 110 anymore. Since the Lightburn mechanic was removed and she now has a built-in counter (wiping the traps), her traps aren't as oppressive because half her web can be gone pretty quickly if the survivors know how to play against her. That's also why the average player struggles with playing her against decent survivors. With the Hag, you can't afford to fall back on your M1.

I don't agree, no. The entire reason there are Killers that are 110 is because they all have powers that help them tremendously in chase so they need to be slower so they're not too oppressive. For example, ranged killers. However, there are obviously some ranged killers that aren't 110 like the Unknown, Artist and Trickster because they require several ranged hits (and in Trickster's case, many) to deal damage and you can lose pressure in chase when the laceration meter against Trickster starts going down, the Weakened state against Unknown depletes or the crows against Artist are repelled. So it makes sense that they're all 115. But for the most part, no, I don't think we should retire 110 killers. I think the current list of 110 killers is completely justified. The only other case I can understand is the Hag. I understand why people argue she shouldn't be 115 anymore, but I think she's fine. Especially since her QoL buffs.
-
Only advice I can give you is keep playing them all. Keep trying them all out until you find one that resonates with you. And be open to the fact that there just might not be one single killer that does resonate with you. Not everyone has one single main because a lot of killers can be fun.
And despite what some say, there are some killers that players find fun to play as and play against — even if that is an unpopular opinion. For example, The Hag is is one of the most unpopular killers to play as and has been in the top 3 of killers with the lowest pick rate for quite some time, and many have said they find her boring to play as because she's a slower killer and she's "outdated." However, I find her the most fun.

Elodie, Thalita, Ada, Sheva and Zarina are the most beautiful female survivors, and Yoichi, Gabriel, Carlos, Leon, Adam and Felix are the most handsome male survivors. At least, to me.
-
What's crazy to me is that in the last year, Dwight, Nea, Mikaela and Yun-Jin have all gotten cosmetics in three of the five Rifts each.
Meanwhile, David's last Rift cosmetic was in Rift 11 and Elodie's was Rift 10. Rift 10 opened in January 2022 and Rift 11 opened in April 2022. It's been over two years since David and Elodie have appeared in a Rift.
-
This is a cute idea! I've been playing three years to the month. Started playing a couple weeks before All-Kill was released in March 2021.
Survivors:
Elodie was my first ever survivor, but Yun-Jin was my first main. Eventually she and Yoichi became my mains until Yoichi took over after Sadako Rising released. I didn't initially commit to Elodie as a main because her cosmetics were hit or miss to me but I always loved her. But now she's my main. I consider both her and Yoichi my mains, but I probably play Elodie more. I'd put Yoichi first just because I've been maining him longer and therefore I suspect I've played him a lot more.
- Yoichi
- Elodie
- Yun-Jin
- Claudette
- Felix
- Leon
- Nancy
- Adam
- Zarina
- Renato
Killers:
Killer is a bit harder because I'm not very experimental with my killers. I tend to stick with the ones I like and feel most comfortable with, but I think this is roughly where I'd put my list.
- The Hag
- The Trickster
- The Spirit
- The Mastermind
- The Plague
- The Demogorgon
- The Executioner
- The Xenomorph
- The Artist
- The Dredge

Unfortunately it's not a bug. It was an update that came with the recent chapter release. The basement in particular is ridiculously dark on Switch now.
I wish we'd just get some transparency regarding Switch cross-progression, and if they abandoned it, they'd just tell us and instead focus their priority on optimizing the Switch port. The lighting on certain maps (especially Midwich) and the basements need to be fixed. There's no reason the game should run this terribly on one of the ports.
