This is happening to me as well. The game crashes as soon as I start playing, racked up a 12 minute dc penalty for it! Completely unplayable

Further issues with Trail of Torment that I've noticed
While Trail of Torment is active players are still able to use Borrowed Time. This happened to me in a match the other day, it said I was undetectable after activating ToT but after a hook save the player coming off hook still had the endurance status effect applied by BT.
Will try to replicate this and post a clip!

Would love it. Was thinking about getting the corrupted PH skin, but then realized I'd have to change the head, and I like the default one better, so haven't purchased it.
Probably comes down to the license holders and available resources (work-hours needed to make the change, and to talk with the license holders).
I feel the same way! I really like the body from his corrupted outfit (lemme see that LEG) but I don't really care for the head; and would prefer to use his default or Forge Born hat...
I certainly hope they would consider it, though it's probably a licensing issue ๐ญ

As a big SH and DbD Fan i totally agree. And the screenshots are looking awesome!
I think they're just afraid of clipping in general. But it looks fine with Heathers reborn cosmetics. Also i don't see a problem lore-wise. The best solution would be to change her reborn clothes not to be legandary at all. Which could be more complicated as they have to ask Konami again i think.
Thank you, I'm glad you like them!!!
Yeah, I guess clipping is why they made the legendary cosmetics in the first place? It's probably also faster to make cosmetics if they don't have to worry about compatibility, but I would honestly rather wait longer for cosmetics that I can mix and match with. To me it comes across as "Faster cosmetics = More cosmetics = More money" as opposed to "Faster cosmetics for more content for the community" idk, to me it feels like less effort for more money, if that makes sense... I really don't like the legendary cosmetics (outside of the character ones for Cheryl)
It'd be nice if they made her reborn clothes non legendary, but you're right, they'd have to talk to Konami again; and it might not be fair to everyone who already paid for them. (Not that they really care about that based on the way they're treating people who payed for the non discounted Halloween skins)
I hope in the future they release more of Cheyrl's tank tops from SH3, and her Princess Heart costume!! (But I hope it's not a legendary cosmetic if they do release it ๐ญ)

I miss actual event mechanics. The pustula flower things were my favorite. The lanterns were interesting but every time an us vs them mechanic is added to the game it just makes the animosity between killers and survivors worse. I wouldn't mind seeing a mechanic where survivors and killers can help each other out but aren't required to (like one side can do something that actually benefits both them and the other side) and they can't completely screw each other over. (Like, for example, a killer could slash a pustula plant, get extra serum/points from it, and then the survivors also got extra serum/points from it. It's not required, but each side benefits.)
Anyway, yeah. A good event is one that introduces a new mechanic of some sort and also rewards players for playing during that time period. Anything less isn't really an event. Pumpkins on generators isn't an event, and giving away free stuff isn't an event.
I started playing dbd during the first Hallowed Blight event, so collecting the pus flowers was a huge part of my beginner's experience. It's super nostalgic for me and It makes me so sad seeing them make the Halloween even suck more and more each year :(

The weirdest thing about OoO for me is that more than one person can use it at a time... I didn't even know that was a thing until a 4 stack ran it against me
I think if more than one player is running it then only the one who is the obsession should get to use it.

Gonna just repeat MY old arguments for this, but I've done 4 WITHOUT these perks or items, still made all the saves and died in 1 hook and ONE HIT because NoED.
The OP also said that the "do bones" argument is not realistic as we, as solo players, have as many things to do and contend with as the killer. Bones are a priority, but so's keeping alive the other 3 meatsacks that we have to call teammates so we can DO said bones.
Equipping perks is also unrealistic as we only have 4 perk slots. And, well, they're usually taken by perks more necessary for immediate survival. I never run Adrenaline because of the fact that endgame is a maybe.
And Avis, it does reward bad killers. As much as it does bad survivors, if not more. It is a perk that says "You're doing badly and losing, here's Exposed. The strongest status in the game. I'll even hide it for you too!" and that's just wrong. Devour Hope is the ONLY other perk to do so, but you have to earn that.
not to mention an additional 4% move speed...

Don't forget too that if you want to wake up you have to either miss a skill check (wasting time/charges/notifying the killer of your location/might not work if he has paintbrush), find another survivor (waste time), get hooked (ouch), or run to the opposite side of the map to find a clock.
It wouldn't be unreasonable if you could wake up at any clock tbh, that would be a step in the right direction adjustment since he has so much in his kit
He's also unbearably easy to play if you have half a brain... people say spirit is a brain dead killer but it's really freddy

i'm quite new so I can't compare with years (or even months) past, but i've noticed when I'm a purple survivor, i'm up against red killers, and when I'm a yellow (recently green? somehow?? I'm so bad though???) newbie killer I get crap like this ^
It's hard to enjoy/learn killer when every other match you have a squad of red ranks swarming around you like gnats and constantly tbagging because they know you're not experienced enough to deal with it.
this match making is awful. How does something like this even happen? Letalone happen REGULARLY
Here's how fixing match making would turn a profit: I'm definitly not buying any more killers until I can actually start enjoying fair (or at least fair ISH) matches on them on a more regular basis...At least in unfair matches as survivor i'm usually playing with friends. As killer it's just tedious and obnoxious.
It's really unfortunate honestly, I feel bad when I'm going against people I can tell aren't my rank. I'm red ranks on both sides, and I can tell when survivors are babies, or when the killer is a baby; it just doesn't feel good.
Right now it feels like when they implimented MMR, but not as severe. Like, it feels similar, just not as bad as it was last time. Idk if matchmaking is just this bad or if they did something to it and didn't tell anybody; it's not USUALLY this bad, it feels like something changed
Sorry you've been having bad games, hope they get better soon <3

I like midwich because I'm a silent hill fan, but it's an objectively bad map for looping. All short unsafe loops, giant m1 hallways, and the suicide desk only room. You have to know the map very well to loop well on it.

Not to mention the screen being practically pitch black....
