bro, they were about to make the nurse great again, survivors just got lucky
Jenner's Last Breath + Campbell's Last Breath
Friends til the end + Nemesis + Monitor & Abuse + Furtive Chase (the ptb update)
Technically, the nurse could have potentially reached a constant 4-meter terror radius.
- Monitor increased base radius by 8m → 40m
- Furtive chase reduces 10%, up to 50% → 20m
- Monitor reduces 16m when not chasing
40m - 20m (Furtive Chase) - 16m (Monitor) = 4m

Buy a pc and problem solved.
- You will get much cheaper games.
- You can adjust the render quality to that of your hardware.
- Always optimized games (guess where console games are made?).
-
Buy a PC, don't come to ask for a potato to run smoothly.

I'm I'm not playing in 2016; just finished matches a few minutes ago, won against Red Rank Survivors. I didn't find the need to Tunnel in those particular matches. Your argument simply does not hold up.
hahaha with what? Spirit? Freddy? with mori?
I want to think you're in the maroon range; why else your arguments don't hold up.

I am a Killer and NO it isn't. :) I'm not saying there is anything wrong with Tunneling. It is a valid tactic and sometimes it is the right call. It is NOT the Meta right now, nor it is required to win. Who told you this nonsense? Are you just taking part in the Forum echo chamber? Almost every single match I play is against Red/Purple Rank Survivors and I rarely Tunnel, because only rarely is it to my benefit to do so. Look at it this way:
- Person unhooked is damaged and will most likely run off to hide from me and heal.
- That takes them out of the Generator repair cycle for a bit, and sometimes someone else too (who heals them if they can't self heal).
- I generally know the direction of the person I could Tunnel went (and whomever unhooked them). They are accounted for.
- What I don't know are where the other two people are, and thus I must assume they are banging out Generators.
- Generator Pressure is what wins games. This is because the longer the match goes, the more it tilts to the Killer.
- Lastly, if I downed and hooked that person once, I know I can do it again.
Sometimes I might chase the same person to force them to waste their DS if it is early in the game, but after that, I move on to return to Generator Pressure. That problem is removed. Do you follow? Using Tunneling as your main tactic runs the risk of getting "Tunnel Vision," i.e. becoming too committed to a chase you should have given up. It also makes you PREDICTABLE as a Killer and why would I want my Survivors to know exactly what I'm going to do after every Hook? If they recognize you as a serial Tunneler, you are almost as valuable to them as a Camper. That person you are chasing is going to lead you to the most remote, and unimportant, part of the map so they can to waste your time. The rest of that Survivor's pals are going to make bank on Generator time. I assure you this is real. I do it myself whenever I'm the one the Killer has decided to delete. I just do my best and Loop like crazy and aim for the wastelands of the map.
Everyone likes to talk about the "state of the Meta" like it is something written in stone, a given. It isn't.
- Person unhooked is damaged and will most likely run off to hide from me and heal.
it's 2020 friend, 2016 was a long time ago.
-
Well I give you a better explanation.
Are you a killer and do you want to win?
Tunnel is required in the current state of the game.
Are you a survivor?
Sorry, you already have like 4 or 5 perks of second chances, put them all on if you can't handle 30 seconds of chase.
-
Learn to play, so ez ≧◠‿◠≦✌
-
Then switch to PC.
Keep in mind that if your console is of the first generation (~ 2014), don't expect the fifth wonder either.
-
It is part of the mechanics, if a killer wants to win he has to take out a player before there are 3 gens remaining.
If you don't like it then learn to play, when you are good at it almost always the killer tries to avoid persecution with you.
-
It's called ability, it took him too much effort to reach that ability, something like ~ 20 hours🤷♂️
-
Oh, maybe they should ask Fornite, CS GO, Overwatch (game already dead due to taking so long to fix issues, like DBD), Halo, Warzone ... just about any game.
It's really ridiculous, we've been dealing with this problem for a year now and they can't fix it?
-
Freddy and Spirit, the only 2 killers who play themselves.
In hating of boring Legion and Trapper.
-
What do you ask exactly?
That those of PC limit us the fps to 30? or do miracles and your console make it run at 240fps?
-
Oh finally, the Spirit can reach the same efficiency as the nurse, I hope soon they will put their fatigue after going out of phase and missing hits after going out of phase, extra fatigue.
-
Yes, and then they ask you why you tunnel them 🤷♂️
You do that to me of running towards me, I wait the 15 seconds, I eat your DS and then I send you to the lobby.
-
Sorry i needed to put it 😆

It has nothing to do with frame drops.
On console we don't get higher frames than 30 fps, that's where the devs capped it.
In 2018 they said they're going to optimise the consoles with an aim of 60fps.
Today 2020 we still haven't had any update regarding console optimization, nor did they ever released any info regarding that update after the announcement.
The thing what I meant which is visible, is like on pc it plays smoother also because of the higher frames, yet on console playing at 30fps you definitely notice the difference.
That's the problem, on consoles they have to make the game run on everyone without exception (including the console from 5 years ago with a living being created from dust).
On PC that does not happen, if you buy the game and your PC does not have the requirements to run it, that is your problem, generally a PC user knows what their equipment can run and may prefer to play in very low quality to gain fps, on consoles I'm super sure that Microsoft/Sony will take the game out of the store if it looks ugly (bad image for the brand)
-
- Until when do you start to lose fps due to heat (throttling)? (Especially the crap of the play4 with its lousy cooling system).
- How often do you disassemble your console, clean the fans, change the thermal pastes?
I can give you the answer, you can easily have a 4-year-old console and never have done maintenance and later come complain to the forum.
I especially changed the thermal pastes (PC) 3 months ago and 2 days ago I cleaned the fans and the game is doing very well for me in performance, I can play at stable 240fps and it is not that my 300 usd graph is the wonder.
An easy console after a year begins to suffer from throttling, imagine someone with 3 years. 🤷♂️
The peak of your performance is until when your gpu decides not to burn out.

Welcome to PC
the truth is that it is fun to show new ones that he is a killer to his maximum potential 👌
-
The tunnel is not a pretext,
what I understand from your text is that you are in a rank that does not correspond to you, I am a main killer of pc and I believe that a red rank of console is equivalent to purple/green rank of pc.
In PC the tunnel is a strategy, if a killer wants to win he has to have 1 death with 3 gens remaining (so yes, someone has to eat the tunnel).
PC killers do not go in wheelchairs.
Welcome to crossplay 🙃
-
Nah, they have to adapt to the same killers but without their console limitations.
I currently believe that a red console rank equates to a green PC rank.
-
Fun to run over them, ~ 5 games today and none have good experience against nurses 😂
-
Nurse and Spirit, are the only killers who care nothing about your thousands of hours (as a survivor).

I play ps4. First game was a slugging nurse. Refused to hook anyone which was annoying for me as I was the last survivor alive and still had loads of time on my bleed out timer.
I feel like PC killers are flexing by showing off the worst they have to offer.
Not exactly, there are murderers who always want their 4k, I at least if I don't know where the 4th, the hatch belongs to whoever finds it first
At least I respect people's time.
-
Come on, at least try it for a day. 🤗
-
Yesterday I played 2 games again with the spirit (last played on May 11), a total of 4 ~ 5 games in one year.
All 4K games and at most 1 escape per hatch... yes, it is very balanced (red rank).
It should be noted that my headsets are expensive, you can hear the grass at 2 meters without problems.

Who is still falling for this? I see this referenced a lot with her, that can not possibly still be working. If she stands still walk your way to the next loop and keep and eye on her.
And why should I give up a really good loop just because she stands still?

Spirit specializes in one thing. She makes Survivors second-guess themselves. I haven't ever had a problem versing Spirit's for this reason. So long as you commit, you can out mindgame her. Put on Spine Chill if you really want, it will tell you where she is looking. If she is still looking at you, but she hasn't moved, she is phasing.
Her power is: You don't see me, you don't know where I am so bet... but true I control the bet because she can hear you and I have good headsets.
My problem is that at most I will have played that killer 2 or 3 times this year and I can assure you that I will do a minimum of 3k (or 4k with slugged) if I use it at this time, 100% guaranteed (I have very good headsets, obviously).
-
I usually eat a lot of DS more than anything to be effective in the chases ... the curious thing that one realizes is that the DS usually have those who are bad at playing, when a survivor is good it is even rare that he has it (no they need it).
Well nail me a DS or come to me to give you a hit with BT and you can consider yourself in the lobby, I really hate that people abuse perks.
-
The spirit is wrong, how is it possible that a killer that can be almost as effective as the nurse can learn it so quickly?
Play the nurse one weekend and you will still be mean to her.
Play the spirit one weekend and already kill anyone with thousands of hours.
The spirit does not need to learn to do mindgames, you just stand still.
Spirit = Play this game in easy mode.
-
ez killer adept 👀
-
Nurse and then piggy.
Nurse: To reaffirm my authority as killer.
Piggy: I love the oink oink.
Quentin was the first P3, the others only up to level 40 per perks.
-
No, it was the survivor's mistake to fall near the basement with a Bubba.
-
My only problem is when the killer refuses to hang me when looking for the fourth survivor, I think they should give them the option of committing suicide after spending X slugged seconds.
-
Professionals do not use noed for the exposed state, we use it for the extra speed.
Change my mind
-
Have you never played against a Myers ninja with 5 tokens of devour hope... in Lery's?
that is scary 😬
-
If the killer knocks you down first, excuse me but then you're bad at playing, following someone who knows how to play with 100% of the pallets (a survivor who makes mindgames and combines structures) is always a mistake for the killer.
By the time the killer catches you and makes you a facecamp, but if you had it behind 4 ~ 5 gens, at least for me it is already victory and I managed to make the killer get frustrated
Unless you play meme (bubba insidious) facecamp is not profitable.
-
Does anyone remember when Instant Healing was going to be nerfed? All survivors spent them without regard to game balance.
I am almost certain that this will be repeated but now on the killer side. 👀

You got a 3k at red ranks, obviously the DS didn't affect you much.
Because I was a nurse, a blink will travel more distance than they can get away in 5 seconds.
but a killer m1 3 DS is a lot of wasted time.
-
If a killer gets bloodlust 3, I think he's losing, right? I think it takes about 45 seconds to reach maximum, 3 free survivors can repair almost 2 gens in that time.
Well, I don't see such a long chase as profitable for a killer.
In Gas Heaven if you get a certain window combo and repair the gen you get an infinite double, there I see that bloodlust is necessary.
-
Interestingly, 2 patches ago, the game crashed me all day, I was only able to play around 2-3 hours after crashing, I was able to get 48H ban.
After the 4th anniversary patch, my problems were solved (0 crashing today) but at the same time they deactivated the penalties for a lot of instability... 😂
There is definitely something crazy in the game haha (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

These are 3 examples (I can't find 2 more but I remember one where Deathslinger got DS'd from a hook-grab, and AngryPug I think getting Locker-DS'd literally 3 times in a row back-to-back-one-after-another) of where deactivation upon certain conditions would make sense. It's impossible to "be tunneled" if you're unhooking someone and I grab you.
These things don't happen every match (I'm not a red-rank killer) but it's definitely annoying when it does. Especially if the survivor players are trying to take as much advantage as possible out of it.
Would the changes make it easier to tunnel? In a way, yes. (IF the survivor is progressing the gamestate after unhook by doing generators or divebombing a hook. But is that really arguably tunneling?) Do I want the changes because I want to tunnel everyone to death? No. I want the changes because getting DS'd from a hook-grab is infuriating because there's no real counter-play. Everyone says "Go after the unhooker" but we have situations where the unhooker will DS you, do the unhook, his unhooked friend body-blocks him with BT through the exit gate, you down him at the last second, then HE DS's you, (Although that one can be considered tunneling) etc. and there's just no real winning in that situation.
I've already touched on DS in the endgame (for the unhooked survivor) in my original post. Dunno what to do about that. I know killers can try to burn DS by tunneling intentionally but I hate the idea of having to tunnel on purpose on the off-chance they might have DS so it won't proc in endgame.
In your opinion what is the underlying issue and how do we fix it? I think DS just needs some changes so it can't be used offensively (Doing gens, rushing a hook, etc.) but only defensively (I.E. killer returns to the hook and actually tunnels you.). I can't think of any better solution that wouldn't make DS completely useless or too powerful. Tying DS to the Terror Radius like Borrowed Time for example (If there's no TR when unhooked, DS never activates) would make DS useless vs people who return to the hook or use insidious. If the DS countdown only went down when outside the killer's terror radius survivors could follow the killer around and keep DS up literally forever.
Having certain actions preemptively end the DS timer just sounds like the best solution since it would still punish actual tunneling while preventing people from just progressing the gamestate while under the DS shield.
The second video, the problem is those survivors who seek to abuse everything they can.
Devs should balance (thinking) about the most abusable point of all perks.

I don't play much of a survivor but when I play it's just by the chases (I'm moderately good at loops) and you're right, as soon as I listen to its characteristic terror radius I want to quit the game.
It's a lot of fun playing him, but facing him is definitely boring...
I am not saying that it is broken, because it is not, you rush the pallet and that's it,
I like to risk to get the most out of the pallets, but with him I cannot, I lose all the mechanics that I enjoy.
Personally him is fine, but they forgot to balance the fun.
This is my point of view, as a survivor I am interested in the chase, there are people who like to surf with urban evasion and chills ... each one defines fun.
-
Yes, I ate 3 DS yesterday because I was very efficient in the chases.
Why should I be punished for doing my role well?
Oops, right, survivors are the ones who buy clothes. 🤦♀️
I recommend that you accept it, they will not change it. 🤷♀️
