I like the heal revert. PTB was dumb and made survivor hell.
COH did not need a buff at all. Will go back to being obnoxious.
PR still sucks. Against non idiots, if you have 4 hooks and someone is not on death hook yet, you are losing.
I was really hoping we would finally rid this game of its worst designed perk in its history (besides I guess old MoM). But I guess if dead hard must remain, this is the best it can be. Still think you shouldn’t be able to drop a pallet for 1 full second after you dead hard.

Nurse and blight butcher your proposed dead hard idea (and they are the killers the perk is needed against the most), plus you are basically making it a perk for people who are already great loopers to have an extra advantage.
This makes a far away boon simply too strong and basically will make games with 3 gens last even longer, because survivors can basically infinite heal forever.I think what BHVR is trying to do is clear - you need to weaken up the survivors as killer before the 3 gen. If there are four survivors with CoH active and the killer is on a 3 gen, killer loses. Given the regression perks have been nerfed killers won't be able to hold the 3 gen like they used to, so survivors can rather quickly deal with it.
But don’t deal with survivors too quick before the 3 gen, like with say tunneling. That would be a bad thing. Be nice and spread pressure. Win at 2 gens. Not before. Not after.

That could be actual next PTB.
I hope so. Among MANY other changes that would need to happen with basekit unbreakable.

I know it's "early" since they said this is just an early version and not final but I have to stress that this is very poorly thought out. The concept of adding this is fine, I don't think it's a bad idea by itself but there is so much in this game built around you not being able to get up on your own that it would take a near book to write it all out. The short and simple of this is that WAY more aspects of the game need to change if they add base kit unbreakable, and no I don't mean perks. I'm talking core mechanics like sabos, hook spawns, carry speed, wiggle speed, etc. There is just so much that is balanced around you not being able to get up on your own that it's just downright stupid to think you can add this without royally ######### up the game and I haven't even talked about specific killers that this completely deletes from the game (Twins, Oni, Myers, etc.)
Again I know this is early concept but history has taught me not to just take BHVR's word for it. There is way more that needs to change than just a couple of stupid perks BHVR, you need to really put a lot of time into this because it's way more impactful than a base kit BT.
Agree completely but I main Oni so I wanted to focus on him LOL.

Oni MUST slug. Otherwise he sucks as it cancels his power

Yes. He's the 3rd best killer in the game behind Nurse and Spirit. Actually a viable alternative to Spirit right now. Many killers are playing him in the tournament scene even with green and lower add ons only. The competitive/tournament tier list goes something like Nurse>Spirit>Blight>Twins>everything else.
Where do you think oni stands? I personally think its nurse>spirit>hag>oni>blight>twins>freddy.

While I do think the it could use a nerf, I also don't want oni as a whole being nerfed. I main oni and probably have about 500 hours on him and I think the top knot is the only was oni is viable against top tier SWF. People need to remember that oni doesn't have his power very often (especially against good survivors) so when he does get it, it needs to be borderline OP to make up for it. I would be fine with a nerf to topknot, I think it probably should be nerfed, but you MUST buff him in another way to make up for it or oni will drop dramatically in the tier list vs good teams. My ideal change would be: buff base charge time to 1.5s, topknot now gives oni the pallet breaking speed he had on ptb and it is an iridescent. This way he can run splintered hull+lion fang, akito's crutch+lion fang, or even new topknot+lion fang and combined with the 1.5 base charge he can be roughly the same power overall but with a little actual counterplay.

Felix (tryhard): solo: dead hard, unbreakable, decisive strike, we're gonna live forever; swf: dead hard, resilience, spin chill, object of obsession
Kate (normal): inner strength, head on, quick and quiet, dance with me
Oni: bbq, monitor and abuse, infectious fright, pop goes the weasel
Wraith: bbq, sloppy, a nurses calling, pop goes the weasel
Huntress: bbq, corrupt intervention, whispers, pop goes the weasel
Clown: bbq, brutal strength, whispers, pop goes the weasel
Deathslinger: bbq, monitor and abuse, save the best for last, pop goes the weasel

There's a reason why there's zero, 6 months is not a lot considering most chapters are planned MONTHS in advance, just take a look at Oni and Blight, the devs said they planned Oni almost as soon as they released Spirit and Blight was a whole 2 years.
And even now we can see that our new girl Élodie has ties with Felix, and Felix has ties with The Entity as his father was taken, hints show that maybe The Observer is Felix' father.
I'm sure we're gonna see a LGTBQ+ character in the near future, just understand why we haven't seen one yet.
What ties to the new character and felix have?

I play the character and deal with the fact that I am going to lose. A LOT.

Playing against oni is super fun honestly. If he's good, then you are in for an extremely thrilling game (which i absolutely love).
Unfortunately nobody seems to play oni and even if i see one it's an unexperienced oni :(
When i play him i only use my power when the survivor is outpositioned, because short loops and jungle gyms (especially long wall jungle gyms) counter him pretty hard.
That is why I think topknot needs to stay, and if it must go the base charge needs to be reduced to 1.5s. I love oni, he is my main, and I want him to remain viable vs top tier teams.

i think topknot should be nerfed, and the base dash speed should be buffed to compensate. make the base dash 1.75 seconds and make top knot reduce it to 1.40 seconds.
I would rather topknot staying the same but made a purple. It's the only thing that makes him even potentially viable vs top tier survivors, and even then he is only like 4th-6th best depending on who you ask.

Fun fact, there is a cap on the amount of blood that can be in a level, it's 100 orbs. but ive actually never thought about that! i actually think it would be fair to nerf the amount to about 70 orbs. that might tone his endgame down a little bit!
I don't think oni needs a nerf at all. He's strong but has counter play. He needs to be godlike at the end because at the start he is literal trash.

Survivor: like a 7. In general I can do decent but more often than I care to admit I will make an extremely stupid mistake that gets me downed. As far as non chase related things like time management and task prioritization, I've got that down.
Killer: probably overall like an 8. Depends on the killer. With oni, like a 9. The only thing I will lose to is a solid 4 man and/or an extremely bad map rng. With the likes of wraith, clown, and deathslinger, like an 8. I win most of the time but a swf or a really good set of random solos will get me. Everyone else like a 7.

I am on ps4 and ever since the recent "bug fix" patch, I have had over 300 ping in every in game. Not exaggerating I can't play the game.
-
Oni: Once you start your dash you cant stop until the power runs out or you down someone. Upside is that you move faster .

Dang, with console performance that's like a solid 25 seconds of missed gameplay.
lol. You're not wrong.

Sadly it seems that these fps issues are making us all die during struggle phase VERY consistently. 4th game in a row frames drop and I guess it doesn't register me struggling....fml. To all you fellow ps4 survivors this reminds me of raiding in wow on my toaster 2000s PC back in the day....miss a few frames and hope your not dead when it catches up 🤣
To all PC survivors watch out in your lobbies but remember it's not our fault 😥
Try playing killer, every time I swing or gain bloodlust I skip about 10 frames.

He is my main now. He is the single most fun killer they have put out in my opinion.
Theres problems with him sliding on things that are 50% into your FOV and colliding with things that are less than 10% into your FOV which can be annoying and can lose you chases, but for the most part he works, and I hope these things get fixed.
Using shadowborn on him recently has made him exponencially more fun, as its harder to miss survivors and it feels youre going at the speed of light!
I do feel countering him from the survivor side is a bit easier than playing him well, but to be fair most killers are harder to play than to counter imo. He is still pretty dangerous.
I would only change 3 things on him:
1.Make his cooldown start recovering DURING the injection animation, like it does when he breaks a pallet with the rush. Theres no reason for the cooldown to just be paused.
2.Refine his collisions but thats a given
3.Make him a little bit harder to be spun. Ive literally seen survivors WALK out of the way of a Blight's attack and i dont think that should be possible ever. Its not the biggest deal and I don't think it needs to be much stronger, but being able to walk out of its way is a bit too much XD
Overall awesome killer. I absolutely love him.
I don't think blight needs a buff in any way. He's already extremely strong.

I'm wondering if it's the console players running into the terrible frame rates people have been complaining about on the forum.
I second this. The dbd experience today on ps4 since the patch has been horrible.

Yes I am talking about killer. For survivor it doesn't matter how hard it is to see as you are the one being chased. For killer, the new "updated" maps are so bad I don't even want to play on them which is sad because I loved Macmillan. Looking for a immersed survivor is the most boring thing in this game.

Almost unplayable. I have never said this before but it is actually going to make me quit if they don't do something about it.

Nah that can´t be right. It would be outrageous to basically add more movement speed to the basekit of Survivors that farm enough during the event for years to come. It would be completely busted, no way it´s gonna be usable after the event ends.
Survivors can farm 100's of them before the event ends. I agree, it can't remain after the event.
