TF do you mean Krasue's spit auto-targets?! I thought those Krasue I faced just outplayed me, but you're telling me BHVR added a system to actually hold their hands?! And the dev team actually thought that was a good idea with a Killer they already gave so short of cooldowns that they're practically non-existent? This company blows, man.43 comments 1,384 views last activity

Every patch Survivors receive nerfs, Killers get buffed, and every time something that actually aid Survivors even a little is added to the PTB Killer mains complain and get it nerfed or removed. Almost every new Killer is beyond broken, with Springtrap probably being one of the few exceptions in terms of semi-balanced Killers. They buff Killers who don't need it and constantly punish Survivors f53 comments 1,692 views last activity

I've personally only faced her twice, so my first impression is incomplete. My first match I never even saw her until the end of the match when me and my friend helped the Nea escape - and my second match… Well, that went poorly. Not only was I tunneled out, but I started lagging towards the end, which wasn't convenient. I don't think she's that difficult to face, but obviously it's day one so33 comments 1,843 views last activity

Wondering if this was a one time thing or if people are seeing this too - My gf runs Poised, and yet the perk just… didn't work. Like, she did what she's been doing, getting on a gen so she can see who and where the Killer is, but we just did a Dredge match where Poised just didn't work. Did we run into a one time bug, or did BHVR, in infinite "wisdom," break another perk while trying to fix tw2 comments 52 views last activity

So, was watching the new Spookyloopz video and he mentioned an exploit with Streetwise. Can someone explain this to me? I don't use Streetwise and haven't seen any other Survivors using it, so I don't know what the problem is - I'm assuming it's a bug that needs to be fixed, but what exactly does it do?1 comments 52 views last activity

Can we please make this map bigger? It's far too small. I'm sorry, but no map should ever give either side a distinct advantage, and the small size of Lampkin just gives Killers, especially those with high mobility, far too much of an advantage to be fair. Besides, the small size is such a waste of the Halloween license.9 comments 241 views last activity

This is nothing against Dwights or Sables, but why is it that, more often than not, when one of y'all are in my matches, that I get screwed over? Where are all the good Dwights and Sables? Like, it's not just them, just had a match against Pyramid Head where both Sable and Feng chose to stop working on generators entirely once we got to one gen, leading to everyone but the Feng dying - but still.10 comments 171 views last activity

If there is one thing playing against the Ghoul has taught me - I hate Tokyo Ghoul. Whoever that character was that tortured him was justified and I think Kaneki deserves no peace. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.11 comments 251 views last activity

Honestly? I love it so far. While I ultimately couldn't save the Meg (the Houndmaster was tunneling) I was able to give her more time than she normally would have, since I managed to help her lose the Houndmaster twice. Is it a perfect tool? No, but it does help. So ultimately, I say it's a win for BHVR.19 comments 472 views last activity

To piggyback off that one thread about Killers Survivors find fun or unfun to face, I was curious - which Killers do you find fun to play, and which ones you don't find fun to play? Now, I doubt BHVR actually looks at the forums, but on the off chance they do, these tier lists could serve as a decent average - it'd be more accurate than Kill Rate (since that can be inflated, like how Escape Rat3 comments 1,112 views last activity

Now, when I say "map change," let me be a bit more specific - this is an idea to refresh the game for both sides, while giving the map designers more freedom to make good maps. The idea is simple - add new ways to escape, where each map falls into a category. What I mean is, instead of having every map be these cluttered messes where Survivors have to fix generators and open the gate, have some14 comments 121 views last activity

Obviously, this is probably the best answer to slugging, but it does need to be nuanced. It needs to be strong enough to make hard slugging harder, but not so strong that punishes Killers who are soft slugging or not slugging at all. Hard Slugging (The one seen as toxic) = Purposefully going out of your way to down all of the Survivors without hooking a single one. Soft Slugging (The non-toxi29 comments 321 views last activity

Killers having one hit downs that can even straight up go past Endurance simply aren't fair. I don't care who you are, and I do not care what your excuse is. They're not fair, not fun to face, and reward low skill players. To make it worse, people who play one hit down killers like Leatherface are always pathetic and tunnel, camp and slug. It's BS and shouldn't be in the game.3 comments 171 views last activity

So, reading the patch, while the buffs to Knight, Pig, Clown and Pyramid Head are distinctly not needed, I will say this item actually sounds useful. Now, if you're playing the PTB, please let me know if my inference is wrong, but it sounds like an item that, while it won't outright fix tunneling, should at least make it harder. Of course, it's very likely to get heavily nerfed, outright remo18 comments 921 views last activity

Genuine question, but where tf are the Houndmaster and Dracula mains? I have faced both a grand total of once each, so I haven't gotten a chance to determine if they're fun to face or not. The one Dracula match I had was ruined because an Ada clearly wanted hatch and proceeded to do nothing all game, resulting in everyone dying, so I only got experience how terrifying it is to be chased by his12 comments 181 views last activity

I already knew BHVR didn't care about Survivors, but this latest update just further proves it. It's unplayable now. You get crows even when you're moving. Heck, I ended up with three while trying to open the Exit Gate because I had to do it slowly, since I was against Springtrap, and since his doors spawn next to the generators, he was easily keeping tabs on both doors. Either make it possible to give up or add the ability to pick yourself up to the survivor's base kit. I'm so sick and tired of crap killers being allowed to slug an entire lobby just because they think getting a 4K means anything. It's not fun, it's not fair, it should be bannable and there needs to be something that makes it no longer a strategy they can go for.61 comments 1,291 views last activity

He's way too powerful. Anyone who thinks he's weak is just lying because they want him to remain strong. He's too fast, has almost no cooldown on his chainsaw to the point he can just spam it, and doesn't have to try to get one hit downs. Not to mention the fact the chainsaw lasts too long with him taking no noticeable decrease in speed to make up for it.12 comments 251 views last activity

Or ban ranged and speed-based killers from being on those maps. Survivor is already playing hard mode, having maps that are impossible for the survivor to even have a chance at escaping is bad for game design. Even when I'm playing killer, I hate those maps because there's zero challenge. I know BHVR favors killers, but a game, even one people pretend is competitive, has to be fair and balanced t5 comments 121 views last activity

It's unbalanced, way too survivor sided, and frankly not fun as killer. Why BHVR thought this was a good idea is beyond me - this has to be the least thought out game mode I've ever played in a game before.62 comments 2,833 views last activity

Just watched my friend get face-camped out of the match (I had already been tunneled out of the game) and the Blight face camped. Yet the bar did not fill up for her to get off the hook and the two Leons, who the Blight was leaving alone - watched him ignore them to chase me and watched him do the same crap to my friend - did not bother helping. Why bother having the feature if it doesn't work? J21 comments 481 views last activity

I want the ability to say "No" to playing against at least three killers. And I mean being queued against them. I am so sick of either facing the same killer over and over, or facing toxic, overpowered killers. I want to actually have fun - and no, I don't mean win, winning doesn't matter in DbD. There is nothing fun about facing the same killer over and over or facing a killer that's overpowered26 comments 632 views last activity

Admittedly, I'm only asking cause I saw this on Twitter and thought, "This could make a messy thread". So, as the title says, who are your favorite and least favorite ships, which ones do you absolutely hate, etc. Doesn't even have to be romantic - could just be friendships. For me, my favorite pairing is Trickster and Yun Jin. Not as lovers, mind you, I just like the idea that, while Trickster0 comments 21 views last activity

This is just a rant thread. Ahem - I used to like playing both Survivor and Killer, but lately… it just hasn't been fun to be a survivor. Barring the obvious toxic play styles, you really can't tell how OP a killer is until you've faced them several times as a survivor. And boy, does it like putting me in matches against the worst of the bunch. And even if I'm put against a killer I like faci36 comments 1,112 views last activity

Speaking as someone who plays both sides extensively, being able to instantly down a survivor is not fair. Some one hit downs, like Oni, Michael, and Ghostface, can be sort've excused, since it has to build up, but even then - there's very little to no counter play. And I get it, the defensive will be "GeT gOoD", but when a killer, like, say, Bubba, can instantly down you with no build up, wher28 comments 1,652 views last activity

Just had a match, which is the third one like this just today, where the Mikaela decided to not participate, at all, and just waited for everyone to be killed so she could get the hatch. Why even bother queuing up if you're not even going to play?2 comments 51 views last activity

I just did a match where I was playing Vecna, and I catch the Kate and put her on hook. Immediately after, both of the Sables in the match gave up - immediately. They let themselves be caught and then killed themselves on hook. They didn't even finish a gen. Like, why even play if you're just going to give up immediately?57 comments 1,791 views last activity

I have a few that I'd like to share. Tryhards ruin the game. I'm not saying to not play to win, but when you're using toxic perk combos, slugging, camping, tunneling, etc. then all you're doing is making the game unfun to play for everyone involved. And yes, that goes for both sides. Slugging needs counter play, and the only way I can think of is to let people pick themselves back up if t2 comments 81 views last activity

We all have an opinion or two that would get us stoned by the community, so what's yours? I'll start with a few: Contrary to popular belief, the game feels more balanced towards the killers than the survivors. Like, in my experience, it's super easy to be a killer, but being the survivor takes way more effort. Many of the maps are frankly either boring aesthetically, or just not fun to play116 comments 3,085 views last activity

Is it just me, or is wiggling just kinda… pointless? Like, I'm pretty good at hitting the great checks, but it doesn't seem to matter. Unless the killer just absolutely messes up, or your team manages to body block, there's no escaping the killer's grasp, with or without Iron Grasp. At least in my experience. Doesn't matter how far I'm dragged across the map, the bar never fills up fast enough fo26 comments 402 views last activity

So, I was finally able to finish reading issue #4 of the comic, and I figured I'd come see people's thoughts. Personally, I thought it was a pretty decent look into how each member of the Legion thinks and operates, though the ending was a little confusing, though that's probably on purpose. My favorite of the four ended up being Joey. And I did love seeing how close Jeff was to the Legion befo0 comments 181 views last activity

So, a bit ago, I made a thread about unfun killers, and people's opinions on who they hate facing. Well, for funsies, for the killers out there - what survivor perks and strategies do you absolutely hate facing? Personally - I hate gen rushing and most blinding strats. And Dead Hard. God, I hate Dead Hard.25 comments 542 views last activity

Now, forgive me, I didn't play when the Knight came out - and I know this makes me late to the party. I stopped playing around the time Ghostface was being advertised, and only came back, very briefly, to buy Ash (Cause he's one of my favorite characters). I only recently came back because the Unknown chapter interested me. So, of course, for most of the original killers after Ghostface, I had no7 comments 171 views last activity

It's been said, time and again, but a lot of these killers are just unfun to play against, either because their basic design is overpowered, or perks from other killers make them overpowered. For me, personally, I hate, with a burning passion, playing against Twins, Wraith, Deathslinger, Freddy, Doctor, Blight, Dredge, and Chucky. They are so unbelievably unfun to play against. One thing I noticed while reading the lore, is that Mikaela's lore has nothing to do with Sable, yet Sable's lore has everything to do with Mikaela. Did the devs just completely forget what their story for Mikaela was?1 comments 151 views last activity

Why, exactly, would the teammate, who was playing Ada, think it was a good and appropriate idea to pallet drop me while I'm in the middle of leading the baby Chucky on a marathon around the map - something that got us 2 completed gens, btw. I got out, and managed to survive it since he was in the process of fixing himself after hitting a rock, but I just want to know why this particular player th0 comments 41 views last activity
