It seems like all the necessary data is already being collected: Chases, hits, downs, hooks, saves, heals, protection hits, gen repair, pallet stuns, blinds, boldness, losing the killer in chases, etc... Obviously the emblem system did a poor job of turning that data into a proper MM system, but they/you could have still used the data and assigned values to those actions. How did we end up with7 comments 61 views last activity

I have seen videos of people playing him and it looks pretty difficult to control him. He is supposedly one of the best killers in the game, which makes me want to try him, but if he is frustrating to control, I'll stick with lesser killers that are easier to control. My hand-eye coordination is poor, so my ability to adapt to difficult control is limited. He just looks a bit too fast to contr7 comments 151 views last activity

Maps are clearly not balanced. Some favor survivors, some favor killers. Maybe not have it so that players can choose which maps they get sent to and prepare accordingly. The maps can be frustrating for both sides. At least if it's random you can't prepare for it and balance it even more in your favor, and less for the other side. At least until they can get the maps balanced a bit better.17 comments 201 views last activity

Survivors need to rank up slower. They level up by doing basic things within the match, mostly to people or objects that let them. They can rank up easily without ever escaping. Killers rank up much slower, which creates an issue. Even if matchmaking is fixed, a killer is, generally, going to be stronger than a survivor of the same level. This leads to survivors thinking killers are OP, and0 comments 11 views last activity

I know that a matchmaking fix is probably still a long way off, but i have heard talk of map changes, gen times, and other changes that are supposedly coming up. Are these in a upcoming update, or just thoughts that will happen at some point? I ask because I have not played killer in a while (too stressful), but would like to get back into at least 50/50 play again. Posting to a link to the i13 comments 61 views last activity

I just started playing Jane Romero to try out Head-On, but I have tried it a couple of times and don't get how it works. I expected to see a key reference while in the locker, but I don't get one. I tried Googling what a rush action was and it said that it was any power that uses Space+Shift. Then it gives examples of vaulting, and such (it was a pre-Head-On thread). However, I don't have Shif5 comments 4,972 views last activity

I am, and I need to stop, but I keep doing it. I'm not talking about making bad saves, and I'm not talking about going for the points. I'm talking about not wanting to leave anyone behind. I have lost tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of BP's because I stuck around to try and make a save when I could have escaped. It's stupid, but I can't seem to help my self.8 comments 171 views last activity

I heard a while back that changes were coming to the bloodweb to give us more variety in our options. When is that coming. Right now I feel like I am wasting so many BP's on things I don't want, and get very little variety from one level to the next.5 comments 151 views last activity

I don't know what it is, but lately I see a lot of survivors getting downed and making no attempt to recover. i get there may be certain situations when it might be good to crawl a bit to try and hide from the killer, but in most cases just recover. Definitely don't just lie there spinning in circles trying to get someone to pick you up, at least not until you have fully recovered...And don't c12 comments 401 views last activity

I watched the first part, but when they got to the Ruin questions, I had to stop watching after the first few. They were softball questions that were asking about things that had already been answered in the update notes. I dreaded sitting through another hour+ of cherry picked questions that didn't really answer anything new. I saw the Tome stuff and the matchmaking stuff in the beginning.6 comments 71 views last activity

I have been leveling a lot of characters lately, survivor and killer, and it seems that the blood web keeps putting the same perks into the blood web over and over. Different for each character, but the same situation. If you don't take the perk, it keeps showing up. If you take the perk, just to get rid of it, a higher version shows up next level. I try to reduce the number of useless perks9 comments 1,551 views last activity

I have Doc, but not leveled up. I do not own Spirit or Jane. I don't have a ton of shards, so are there any good pick ups in this group?3 comments 21 views last activity

Do you think that adding more ranks, or adding tiers with their own ranks would help the matchmaking problem? RIght now it is fairly easy to get to rank 10 as a survivor. I know, because I can't loop killers, at all, can't hit great skill checks, and I very rarely escape, and I still got there fairly quickly. As killer I feel a little more comfortable in first person, but i still have a lot t0 comments 21 views last activity

His playstyle looks fun to me, from what I've seen, but I keep seeing people saying he's a joke and the worst killer in the game. I know that he is essentially an m1 killer, but it seems like his potions add a tactical element to his game play. What makes him so much worse than other killers? I have been tempted to buy him, but not if he really sucks.20 comments 601 views last activity

I recently started playing killer and have been fluctuating between rank 16 and 17. At first I was only looking at my scores (postmatch) and not really focusing on the survivors scores or ranks, until, after a particularly bad match for me, one of the survivors pointed out the matchmaking. I was rank 18 and all of them were purple ranked. Now I pay more attention after the match. It seems that1 comments 11 views last activity

When I was playing as survivor I used to see people waiting around the open gates to taunt the killer. If he/she wasn't there, the survivors would run around vaulting pallets and such (I assume to try to get the killer to come over). Since I started playing killer I see it every game. Usually teabagging and flashing at me with their flashlights. Some will even let me get close enough to hi16 comments 331 views last activity

I recently started playing as a killer, I leveled up Leatherface to unlock all of his teachable perks, but he is the only killer I have ranked up, so there are a lot of perks that I don't have access to, atm. What are some good builds I can make with the perks I currently have available to me, and what perks should I look to pick up in the future? TIA8 comments 1,971 views last activity

So I just started playing as a killer, and it was suggested that new players start with Leatherface for BBQ&Chili, as well as his ease to play. However, I don't find his chainsaw all that easy to use. Most of the time I just use the hammer, since the chainsaw is saw clumsy and awkward. It feels more detrimental to use it than no. I have downed people with it, but it seems to have been due3 comments 131 views last activity

I have been playing as a survivor for about a week and am at rank 10. This often groups me with single digit ranked players. I would like to try my hand at killer, but I am concerned that I will be seriously outmatched, if it uses the same rank. I'm not concerned with losing, I know that will happen, but it might make for a pretty boring game for the survivors. Also, any tips would be appreciat3 comments 32 views last activity
