Note that the listed options aren't necessarily what a killer addon should be exclusively. But what is your preferred addon purpose for killers, if you find multiple functions appealing?13 comments 114 views last activity

Not an original idea, given that plenty of YouTubers have series dedicated to lore accurate killer builds, but I wanted to see if you guys had any ideas! Bear in mind that they don't have to be viable gameplay-wise. They can be ludicrously complicated and unfeasible for competitive gaming, like the example I'll give, but whether anyone wants to try or just have fun conceptualizing ideas is your d0 comments 51 views last activity

As a survivor, my ability to loop killers and extend chases is not very great. Kind of bad, honestly. But for whatever reason, the longer the game goes, the better I get? And I know for most people that would probably amount to learning the killer's habits over the course of the game, but I feel like my mind is running too fast in chases to really note anything. So I've just been wondering what5 comments 131 views last activity

I've been thinking on some things to myself about items and I thought, why not ask everyone else their opinions? I'm more specifically referring to finding items in-game through searching chests. All of my Dead by Daylight gaming experience, I've had a love/hate relationship with items and, more specifically, perk builds that center around scavenging items in the trial. Perks such as Plundere3 comments 64 views last activity

A curious question for you guys! I've seen discussions in the past where people were of the opinion that map offerings should be removed entirely - to which I fully agree - but I can't recall a conversation on offerings in general. Offerings are a nostalgic part of Dead by Daylight to me, but their actual utility is kind of questionable, I feel like. I'll give a quick breakdown of my opinions on8 comments 611 views last activity

I know Dead by Daylight is focused on slashers and monsters from popular horror movies, games, and such, but what do you guys think about a killer that came from a form of media that isn't exactly horror? I think a lot of books and movies have characters or plot devices that are honestly more terrifying than what you'd find in a slasher film despite horror not being its genre of focus. I was originally going to post this in the "Freddy is in such a sad state atm" discussion, but I didn't want to hijack the flow of the conversation to talk about a potential rework idea, so I decided to make it its own discussion. I don't make any claims to knowing what a good change for Freddy would be from a mechanic standpoint, but a snippet of an idea just occurred to me and I thought I'd s5 comments 382 views last activity

This was originally going to be solely a request for tips for a stealthy survivor playstyle, but it occurred to me that a lot of people probably associate a stealthy survivor with hiding in a corner or locker and just waiting for the team to die off so they can get the hatch or open the exit gates quickly with a Sole Survivor + Wake Up combination. So I guess my first question is: what is every9 comments 261 views last activity

I was wondering if anyone else out there had headcanons or theories about certain Dead by Daylight characters that turned out to be incorrect by updated lore. I started playing Dead by Daylight when there were only three killers - the Trapper, the Hillbilly, and the Wraith. Just looking at the Wraith back then, I speculated at the time that maybe Philip had suffered an injury (perhaps a car acc3 comments 191 views last activity

I'd like to preface that this is quite situational and there are absolutely times where, as the killer, that boon totem needs to kindly go away as soon as possible. But there are other scenarios where I actually choose to leave a boon totem up. I feel like simply knowing the location of a boon totem can be more effective than simply snuffing it on sight. This is mostly in reference to Circle2 comments 41 views last activity

Just curious as to what you guys who play the Nemesis have named your zombies. :3 My original names for my zombies were Gerald and Gertrude, but I kept referring to Gerald as Buddy and it stuck. I was stumped for a while what to call the other zombie, but in a stroke of genius (or insanity) I decided to name her Bosom Buddy. XD25 comments 761 views last activity

A legitimately curious question. I used to play Freddy a lot more before he got his power completely reworked. Aside from the long amount of time it took for a survivor to actually enter the dream world (and even this didn't pose the most terrible of problems, in my opinion) I actually liked the original Freddy power concept better. It does sound silly on paper to say, "Oh, well, my killer powe22 comments 381 views last activity

What do you guys think are the most (or least) in character perks for either a survivor or a killer? In character meaning that the perk is representative of said character's backstory, personality, or methods. There are definitely better candidates for the most character lore-accurate perk, but one that comes to mind is the Hillbilly's perk Lightborn. I remember being really confused by the Hil5 comments 61 views last activity

I'm very curious to hear people's perspectives on this! As for myself, I haven't played more than one or two matches as a survivor per sitting. Honestly, I usually forgo playing as a survivor entirely and prefer to play as a killer instead. Since I haven't really played as a survivor to any considerable extent recently, I don't have as great of a perspective of what I personally count as a win30 comments 441 views last activity

Hello! I'm new to this forum, so forgive me if I seem like a deer in headlights. XD Anyways, I would like to see if anyone else has an interest in a Dead by Daylight written roleplay.6 comments 82 views last activity
