Hi everyone, I’m writing this as someone who’s played since 2018 and has roughly 5k hours in DBD. I play both sides fairly evenly (Killer and Survivor), which is why I’m trying to keep this feedback practical and balanced. The goal isn’t to “buff my side”… it’s to reduce the biggest friction points that make matches feel worse for everyone, and to make the game more consistent, fair, and fun. Build: Live (pre-9.2) Platform: PC/Steam Cross-play: On Perks/Items: Deliverance (primed via safe unhook) https://youtu.be/OlW0aj5EkIg Description On first hook, activating Deliverance filled the self-unhook bar to 100%. I received Broken and the usual post-unhook Endurance/Haste , but my survivor remained attached to the hook and couldn’t move . H4 comments 82 views last activity

Introduction Dead by Daylight has seen impressive development over the years, and while many things have improved → new content, graphical updates, matchmaking refinements… a number of core issues remain untouched. This thread will highlight some of the most pressing topics still affecting the game today, paired with a realistic evaluation of how likely we are to see changes in each area based o7 comments 301 views last activity

I've recently observed what appears to be a bug — or at the very least, a highly inconsistent interaction — with the perk Play With Your Food when used on the killer Nemesis . As a quick refresher: Play With Your Food is designed to grant a stackable 5% Haste effect (up to 15%) each time you end a chase with your Obsession . One token is then supposed to be consumed upon performing a0 comments 151 views last activity

When you load into a new match you will always see some game tip messages on the loading screen. If you haven't played against a particular killer 5 times or so, you will also get a message about which killer you are playing against and a tip for this killer: for example: Now I saw someone who is streaming live on Twitch and even though this person ha5 comments 241 views last activity

I would be interested to know what the community here thinks about this topic. Have you ever had problems here or is it not a problem at all? Feel free to describe your experiences, I look forward to a lot of feedback and the vote. For me personally, this issue is unfortunately a downer in what is otherwise a really good game. I've had countless cases of cheating, but it only started in 2019 f4 comments 62 views last activity

As in the title already mentioned. I want to see if I have a blocked player in the lobby. I know that it probably takes a lot of effort and is extremely complicated to introduce a block list for the game that also takes matchmaking into account without breaking something elsewhere. But players who have been blocked for various reasons (first hook suicide, cheating, anti-social behavior, etc.)0 comments 11 views last activity

So first of all, this will be a lot to read. Thank you in advance if you take the time. The problem has long existed that tunneling is one, if not the, strongest tactic for winning a match in DBD. As a killer, if you want to win consistently, you are almost forced to turn a 4vs1 into a 3vs1 as quickly as possible, it usually takes little effort and is effective.17 comments 391 views last activity

As mentioned in the title. I think this wouldn't be difficult to implement. A small subtle bar below the hook progress bar. SwF can communicate this constantly. Only the solo players are at a disadvantage here, so this should also be adjusted.25 comments 461 views last activity

https://youtu.be/Iy5_efgCk48?si=VUMzdbxRsERWlmDM I know I'm probably treading on very thin ice again if I report this here, but I took extra care to remove all names from the video. Footage is from October 25th, 2024. So again very current. I will soon post a collected post with all the recordings from the last 7 years. There are many people who have played for a lon23 comments 731 views last activity

As the title suggests, if you were a DBD developer: What would you most urgently add to the game? How would your gaming experience be significantly improved? Or any skins or game modes? A killer suggestion or game balance adjustments? Your personal most desired thing for the game. I'm very excited to see what the community thinks and what kind of things will pop up here. I know this topic has probably been brought up many times in the past. But after so many years, can we now get a function (preferably in the overview after the game) where you can mark a player (similar to a block list) so that you can no longer be matched with them in the future. It's just annoying to play again and again with the same people who commit instant suicide after a 20 second chase a20 comments 472 views last activity

There is already a matchmaking function where, if activated, you not only ignore all players who play on a different platform but also all players who play on the same platform but have not deactivated cross play. I would like to have the same for Anonymous Profile. Why that? Players who play as anonymous usually have the following motivation: - Cheating -> it is harder to mark/report such10 comments 291 views last activity

Hello there, I think each of us has experienced it before: You repair a generator The killer approaches / a new target arises You let go of the generator and get a skill check that fails immediately Since the audible notification of the skill check happens at the same time as the release, you have no chance to react here and the skill check fails.12 comments 1,144 views last activity

Hello everyone, I'm playing Dead by Daylight again after almost 2 years and I have to say that I've encountered a lot of hackers/cheaters in the last month. These players, can also jump(they literally fly in the air), and instantly heal their health. As this surprised me compared to my gaming experience 2 years ago, I searched "DBD" and "Cheat" on Youtube, results from the last 24 hours. The re2 comments 81 views last activity
