I'm on Steam, and I cannot play a game right now without rubber banding causing me to lose chases. It's not my connection, as I've checked and checked. I have no packet loss, my ping is fine, my speeds are normal. I'm chalking this up to the game. It's the ONLY game I'm having issues like this with. Is it just lost on people in solo queues? Do people not understand if you don't heal, especially against the new killer, it's kind of a death sentence? Start healing people when you unhook them guys. I rarely suggest this, but daaaaaaaaaaamn BHVR...why did you make a perfectly serviceable killer THAT strong as compared to PTB, which was fine? They were (mostly) fine in PTB, a few tweaks needed, but now they're so overpowered that even low skill people can do phenomenally because of how Victor works. I'm a fairly apt killer, I've been to red ranks with them. The problem that I see is that getting adept on survivors is monumentally easy (I have it on all of them) and ridiculously more difficult on killer (I have just Trapper so far). I am getting killers who take advantage of when I'm going around the hill and getting stuck in that one spot. I get stuck and they make the choice to down me and take me to hook. Easy hook for them, so I guess why not? Let's not be a sport and let the person go play the game, no. Let's be an ass and hook them, while they didn't really get to even play the game. Yeah, I get that you guys are likely gonna suggest playing around it...but even as a fairly savvy survivor...it ain't happening. I can run the killer, pallet stun them, and still get tunneled if they choose to play that way. It is very tiresome. Why isn't there a penalty for this type of play? There really should be. They kind of run scummy builds and tunnel more often than PC players from what I am noticing with cross play. Why is it so bad with console players? Can someone tell me why a killer on console feels the need to run a build like NOED, Blood Warden, BBQ, and Dying Light all at once? Never saw it this bad with PC players. I know it's an MMR-like system now. I know it takes a while for things to get started. I know all of this. So why is the game putting me up against sweaty, try-hard red ranks as killer when I'm still green rank and don't play as often because the matchmaking was broken before and is even worse now? So I go into games with a constant red bar. It's not my internet. I'm sure of it. Before I start a game as of now, ping says 270+ ms. That is far from the normal of around 65ms (which is fine). What the flying f*ck is going on with the game lately? I can't play like this. I had a glitch playing as Spirit where I couldn't get out of a room in the saloon in Glenvale. Has anyone else just not had fun playing killer? You get gen rushed by toxic people who sit there going from pallet to pallet, taunting you with health kits or flashlights, and occasionally they get lucky stuns. Really bummer. Sucks also when you keep getting games like that, and derank like crazy. I'm getting tired of getting stuck in games where survivors do the most BORING possible things to win. It's literally hold M1, hold W, throw down all the pallets, god loop us, rinse and repeat. It's unfun, it's a survivor sided game, it's time for everyone to acknowledge this. The ONLY time it's killer sided is early ranks. Stop saying otherwise. Survivor mains: You'll have something to do besides hold M1 all game and act like a toxic trashbin. Maybe now you'll learn to pick your fights a bit more wisely. Matchmaking is so broken it keeps putting me against optimal purple and red ranks who actually know what the hell they're doing, while I stumble because I'm not quite used to this yet. It's toxic. You could just say "well played/wp" instead because it's better on both sides to say that. The only time it's okay to say "gg" is if the losing party believes it was a gg and says so first. You come off as cocky and scummy when you say it after a huge victory, especially if the game only lasted like 5 minutes. Let's not feed into toxic behavior, even at this level guys. I have had so many games in a row tonight, think I've lost count, where the killer decided it'd be fun to make the game as unfun to play for me as possible by tunneling me. Out of four people...I get hooked three times in a row due to how the killer decides to play their game. Please make some kind of change that discourages this behavior.
