  • Or it’s a free hit against Mage Hand. Some Vecna had enduring and the Mage Hand went through the stun. Guaranteeing a hit on any loop btw. It’s hard to say if it’s absolutely broken but I do believe it’s near impossible not to get hit without Interloper, and you’re not guaranteed to get it.

  • See, when Blight got his hug tech nuked, they rightfully removed it because it denied the main counterplay around most loops since a good Blight could completely move around a mid/long loop and ignore it. Meanwhile, Oni still has the funny 180 flick that should’ve died at PTB eons ago and he’s in insta down mode for the majority of it while he’s snowballing. Tight Corners and bends were supposed

  • https://youtu.be/mdwrtAqtEfA?si=JO1ct5UE72hBMfX6 Otz has some decent takes in my opinion but I partially disagree with it. Even if it’s a bug, Plague losing one of the more stronger states in the game is very much needed and helps deter more problematic playstyles through camping and tunneling. Plague is much healthier with the higher risk/reward and it gives survivors m

  • By this I mean we just teleport the survivor to a separate hook far away from the killer. Reuse anti-camp for the meter, give it a progress bar on the hud so people can see it, make it faster to build up, and remove the loud noise notification when unhooking (don’t even know why it’s still there). Tunneling and camping is no more. We solved world peace.

  • Title. Weird it doesn’t at least start the game activated. Would it be too excessive to at least have it in the beginning? The problem with the initial nerf was that it was infinite after exhaustion like Sprint Burst. This is the only instance where it doesn’t work like any exhaustion perk. I feel not having it at every state of the game is odd.

  • I’ve been using Gearhead more with lethal and it’s been doing wonders with Huntress, Singularity, and Unknown. I used to use Discordance a lot but since a lot of survivors I’ve been facing spread out more, Gearhead has been super useful. Ever since the basic attack requirement got nuked it’s been so fulfilling. It also eats through Distortion pretty quick from what I’ve seen. Anyone else here a

  • I was not here during the PTB and only viewed through the eyes of streamers whom mainly played Unknown. The new perk seems usable outside a mid MMR solo queue but I have one question. Does performing an Invocation count as a conspicuous action or is outside of that scope and therefore works with OTR/DS?

  • Title. Grim Pantry has been a pretty insufferable map to play and Pale Rose is still dead zone. Grim Pantry is still an extremely strong building. Both maps have piers which are easily the most difficult for killers to play around. A gen spawning on the pier is a guaranteed lost gen and not worth patrolling. Pantry has a nasty pallet spawn into shack. Not to mention the pog logs. Reeds are also

  • He desperately needs that removed since accessing biopods are extremely important as often as possible. You’ll never get a teleport off as constantly, but getting a survivor slipstream’d is equally as important. Yet, he gets SO slow when you stop using biopods near a hooked survivor. You basically don’t play the killer for 5 seconds and it feels so awful. There’s zero reason why it’s there and h

  • Illumination and Deadline are both ridiculously weak and redundant. It’s like another Technician/Visionary situation with Illumination. Stop designing DLC perks for new players in mind when you could be reworking general perks, like Premonition. Deadline would be good on niche builds if it wasn’t for the decision to add Doctor skillchecks. Why did the PTB have Alan in it if we’re not gonna make

  • Self-healing received a hefty nerf last year and med-kits have became so much more addon reliant for multiple heals or healing speed. CoH, especially the previous version before the aura addition, would be completely fine. Given that CoH has the same self-healing speed as a med-kit. Survivors need to walk over to the boon, usually outside of gens, wasting a reasonable amount of time (let’s say:

  • Feels wonky. Every time I aim it dead on at the middle of a turret hitbox, it doesn’t break. Ever. I haven’t had success with it so I’ve been doing an M1 instead so long as I run turret resistance. Am I imagining this?

  • In terms of balance. Back then it was Coal Tower, then it hit a gray area for a bit around when new Shelter Woods came out, and then it was Nostromo, which I disagree with. Nostromo has too many junk tiles while also being too big for M1 and no mobility killers like Slinger. What is the de facto king of map design currently that the community thinks the devs should follow, if any?

  • I mean, anything other than the reboot. Yes, they got the license a whole eon ago, back when DBD didn’t have as many notable licenses. Yet, they still stuck with the reboot version. Even after Freddy’s rework. Sure, I sorta get it, with Quentin, but I don’t think Freddy should solely abide by the reboot. It’s a perfect opportunity to rework the lad into an actual character instead of being weake

  • I know the art and level design team are busy with whatever the future chapters are at the moment, but the lack of any information on maps is concerning. Map design has been at its third worst at the moment, topped by the initial release of Garden of Joy/Borgo and when the game released back in 2016. Condensing maps, while helpful in the cases of Mother’s Dwelling and Borgo, didn’t resolve a vas

  • Recently, Furtive Chase was buffed with the terror radius decrease, which did nothing. The devs realized this and CHANGED the perk immediately after the PTB. They announced it very recently. This is weird. I’m saying it’s weird because I distinctly remember the devs saying they have to expend a lotta time and resources to properly research, design, and look into perks, addons, and the like. Mean

  • …to face. I’m saying this because we’re coming across another potential trap killer in the game, being new Skull Merchant. They’re going to reasonably buff her, and once they do that’ll be another trap killer to the mix. I play Hag from time to time, but even I can see we really don’t need trap killers. Sure Trapper is a push over, but once it works, you BARELY can do anything against it. If th

  • This eludes me because I fail to see, even with current map implementations like Badham, Garden of Joy, Borgo, Disturbed Ward, and maybe any Coldwind map, where this is applicable. I’m also generalizing every Killer, not just Trapper. Can someone tell me when Bloodlust 2/3 is actually a healthy mechanic that promotes smart plays and mindgames, not brute forcing and refusing to kick pallets? I’m

  • Ultimate Weapon has now made it a lesser option because the screams it produces is far more useful and consistent, even working with survivors in a locker. Darkness Revealed on the other hand: Aura-based, countered by lockers/gen auras/Distortion Requires you to be in a measly 8 meters of a locker, making it map dependent Has a cool down as well Doesn’t always have valuable information for f

  • Boom. Majority of issues solved and survivors can start running three unique perks with the exception of MFT. This solves various problems we currently face: Slugging for the 4K Camping Tricksters Camping Bubbas Camping anything Indirectly anything a Skullmerchant player does The annoying Knock Out build that still exists for an ungodly reason not known by the mortal coil Finally, solo

  • Greeting DBD jury. I would like to quickly cover some arguments defending Xeno and explain why they don’t work. “Crawler Mode should be strong!” This is true. Basically the only objective statement for the defense. The bugs should certainly be fixed but it should remain oppressive. But the reasoning for that to work out properly comes next in the form of how the turrets were handled. “

  • With the recently announced KF3, I’d be shocked that they did not consider the potential behind the license. KF is peak body horror, even if it’s action, and now that BHVR blew their load on RE, I’d argue KF would be a perfect candidate for another video game license. Personally, I’m sick of RE and some of the recent licenses they pulled. Something more unique like Amnesia/Killing Floor should b

  • Not of the recent bots. I think in some parts of their AI is reasonable, and while they suck at any chase that doesn’t involve high walls it’s alright. I’m talking about Nemesis and Knight, both of which rely on AI. Every part of their AI gets suck on the most basic of geometry that it’s actually laughable. Nemesis zombies are more prone to getting stuck on walls, gens, hooks, and corners withou

  • I just realized in the back of my brain that managed to squirm out: didn’t Bubba’s chainsaw sound like an actual train horn? When he first launched, his chainsaw didn’t sound purely like a chainsaw, it just straight up sounded like a train horn while revving and I thought that was pretty neat. Then it just disappeared. Not even in the rework patch was it changed. It just disappeared one day. Hav

  • Why there isn't a fail state for both sides on this is ridiculous. The game "timing out" at the 2 hour mark is actually insane. Three gens are prominent due to the majority of killer's like Nurse, Merchant, Knight, Blight, Wesker, and Spirit due to either high mobility or a horribly designed power that is built to delay the game. Most modern multiplayer games aren't meant to last longer than 30

  • Blah blah “buh Sadako!” blah blah Really though, Hag is the most neglected killer of the bunch and no one likes playing against her because most Hag mains waste time trapping under the hook without even using Mint Rag. Seriously, she’s in a rough spot and arguably had a WAY worse falloff than Hillbilly after his nerf. She still relies exclusively on Corrupt to get the game going, her move speed

  • “Shake up the meta” when all you’re doing is nerfing a random niche that some people used. You could’ve just nuked the stealth killer effect and it would’ve been fine. Give the stealth killers a bit of happiness from the depths. But outright removing the vault speed is absolutely stupid. The vault speed only worked in combination with RESILIENCE. Without it, both perks are near useless. And it

  • I know it’s pretty niche, but honestly ever since we got Nemesis I always wondered if we could get a chapter dedicated to the zombies gamemode from Treyarch COD. Specifically Black Ops. Nemmy really didn’t satisfy much and even with Project W as a thing, I’m getting sick of RE. I personally think there’s huge potential for it. Honestly, it’s a decently large property with a lot of name recogniti

  • Now it's all killers. Couple survivors abused it in my game. All Epic Games players with no cosmetics. Happened to me a couple times after the patch dropped. Apparently, they just lag switch by boosting their ping to quad digits and then sit on the gen. Going for a grab? Get infinitely stuck. Forced to DC since they'll hold your game hostage. I now resent going for grabs and just M1. Surely you

  • Hot take I know. But honestly it's how I feel about it right now. Ghostface and Legion DO need a rework. They're completely powerless for different reasons. Legion has no power outside of injuring. Ghostface is basically a walking piece of broken game state that can't stay in shroud without a survivor behind the Empire State building revealing them. Both are crippled by CoH to top it off. Fredd

  • How practical is this? Asking any Pig players since I’m not experienced with the Killer at all and I’m learning by applying different builds. I’m specifically asking about Whispers since I know Pigs sometimes run Monitor/Whispers as a combo for optimal crouch speed. However, I’m curious to know if keeping Whispers at tier II is valuable at all with Pig. Since it sticks at 40 meters versus Pig’s
