  • What's the reasoning behind this change? What do you think about it?

  • I've played against him and always thought it's stupid that you get chased by NPCs while the killer can flank you. So I decided to unlock him and try him because it's not fair to judge a killer without playing him. And wow. How is this a killer? So I have 3 separate ghosts, and they all have separate cooldowns? But that's not all, you can just make a ghost patrol a hooked survivor. And the

  • I have noticed a significant increase in leavers nowadays compared to the last time I was actively playing, which was a year or two ago. Today alone while solo queueing, I would estimate that at least one survivor team mate left in about 40-50% of my matches. And when I played killer, this went up to 80% of my matches (and as a survivor main I even play honorably when I'm the killer, yet they sti

  • Edit: Check post further down that visualizes how this would be improved for everyone. I feel like this post got misunderstood because all I'm suggesting is improved options for both PC and Console players. When you turn off cross-play, queue times are insanely long. I gave up waiting after 15 minutes (survivor). One reason it's like this, is because the default setting for cross-play is en

  • For years now, When Nea wears the top in the screenshot, you could crouch while being healed in order to make her backpack wiggle. However, recently this has been fixed. And I don't understand WHY something like this would be fixed when it has no impact on gameplay, when it's just been a funny little animation that you can do with this outfit that ha

  • I have over 1500 hours on Steam, and have been playing both sides for years. I'd estimate that I play survivor 80% of the time and killer 20% of the time. (the reason for more survivor is that I have friends, but when I play alone I pick killer) I should start by saying that there is one situation where the game is survivor sided, and that's when there's an extremely well-coordinated SWF who

  • If you're craving gameplay similar to Dead By Daylight but want to try something else, here's a list of things to check out: Identity V - This is the most similar to DBD, and I think BHVR assisted partially with development as well. There's the equivalent of generators that needs to be completed to open exit gates, and there's looping with pallets. 4 survivors VS 1 hunter, or 8 survivors VS

  • this is from the rift preview: Is it just me, or did something about Jane's model change? her thighs and posterior bulges in weird places, it almost looks like the joints in her 3D rig were scaled up without adjusting the base mesh. I always liked her thicker build but the 3D model quality looks off now and im not sure if that's new?

  • If characters at prestige 1 are boosted to prestige 3, then characters at level 40 without prestige should be boosted to prestige 2 with bloodweb level 40. the difference between level 40 and prestige 1 is only 10 levels. And for most people, there was never any purpose to get those final 10 levels since the teachable perks were already unlocked at level 40. Now, the people who stopped after un

  • Lethal pursuers was already semi-frequently used perk before this patch. It was seen often enough to be noticeable. Not only that, but giving it a buff to the duration of all other auras feels like it's now 2 perks in 1. This kind of effect seems like it should be a separate perk altogether, similarly how the perk "Open Handed" is purely an aura buff, with no other effects. If Open Handed has

  • Iron will not working while exhausted is fine, but maxing it out at reducing Grunts of Pain by only 75% makes the perk completely useless. Any grunts of pain will alert the killer. The perk was previously useless at rank 1 and 2 where you didn't have the full 100% reduction. Gamers have good headsets, and many of us can detect even the smallest sounds that we're actively listening for. On

  • Accept that this game is never going to be perfectly balanced. Accept that both killers and survivors will keep complaining on the forums no matter what you do. But please stop listening to people complaining for selfish reasons, and start listening the to the people who are having the fun sucked away by a game mechanic or something the other side does. Sure having fun is subjective, but consid

  • I read through the official news topic here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/315687 All it does is talk about how some people favor fast queue times while other people favor fair matchmaking,The way they describe how matchmaking tries to find people close to your MMR and then expand over time to find people further away from your MMR is normal for any kind of matchmaking system,

  • Had a killer who was obviously lag switching during key moment in chases (mostly before vaults to get illegitimate hits). But what really got to me was what they did during my decisive strike. The killer picked me up, and toggled their lag switch to freeze in place. My decisive strike skill check went off, but the killer was still frozen with me stuck on their shoulder. Literally 5 seconds later

  • I never expect them to be locked, so I pull hard and end up knocking them over :(

  • Platform: PC (playing with a controller, if that matters) Description: If you have stacks of Stakeout, and you use a toolbox on a generator and keep holding down the toolbox button after it's depleted, normal skill checks still count as normal skill checks, and a stack is not depleted. Note: This may or may not happen with health packs too. I have not tested it. Steps to reproduce: Acquir

  • After the latest update, hooks stay sabotaged for such a short time that there's not much of a point to sabotage them anymore. I understand the idea behind the change, you're supposed to sabotage the hook right before the killer hooks someone, to force them to find another hook (instead of abusing 99% finishing hooks like you could do previously). But even if you do sabotage the hook right in
