Been having a long session this afternoon and have played twice with the same random survivors, twice against one killer and three times against another. When cross play first became available, I loved it! Lobbies were quick and to start with I was matched against people of my own skill level (a shame that got turned off) which was great for killer rounds - I actually enjoyed playing killer again. Lobbies were quick, we could get in more matches and a lot of fun was being had. I was so enthusiastic for the game again, something that wasn't the24 comments 411 views last activity

Yet again I'm in match, get unhooked by someone who then is so determined to heal me that I have to shake them off 5 times. For goodness sake, if the unhooked player wants to get away from the hook before healing, let them! So many killers return to the hook when someone is rescued, especially if they are near by. If they shake you off and keep running, respect it! They may want to get away21 comments 741 views last activity

I've been aware of the hooking bug for a while and even commented a few times to others, to let them know to go to the nearest hook, drop the survivor and pick them up again as a workaround, but this bug seems to be getting more prevailant and frankly it's making killer rounds a pain in the rear, with surviviors managing to wiggle free, even with. tl/dr - I'm done with this crap. Dead by Daylight is a great game with so much potential, but ruined by its increasingly toxic player base. I actually gave up on this game a while ago but came back because I missed it. Since I came back, around a month ago, I've found the game to get increasingly more frustrating and rage inducing. In the DBD Facebook group I'm in, someone commented that you get extra brutality points if you hit the player whilst they are on the hook. I've never heard this before but have frequently been hit by killers whilst hooked; my theory was that they either thought it would kill me faster or distract me from the struggle. Hoping some experienced survivors can give me some tips about how to counter Freddy - every match I have against him ends up with me being sacrificed and while I'm managing to last longer in a match (I've only been playing for three weeks), I still struggle against him.
