Back in 2019 when I started playing on my laptop, I had really no problems with the optimization. Freddy's dream world and stuff like Madness tiers and being broken with Plague's power kinda lagged the game but it wasn't noticeable. I can't really tell when the change happened cause I've taken breaks but nowadays those same effects along with Pyramidheads torment thingy? affect my gameplay quite a lot. It's no secret that those are the worst killers for me to go against but it certainly doesn't help lol I also can't play as Freddy 'cause being in the dream world for the whole game is just unbearable with the little lag spikes etc. Also some reworked maps cause performance issues for me too, mainly Azarov's.

I honestly couldn't care about NOED. I don't run it on killer 'cause there's a lot of better perks and if I do end up getting kill with NOED in endgame, it isn't really deserved for I played the rest of the game bad for ending up in this position. As a survivor, I don't mind getting hit with it, especially 'cause I can affect it being spawned etc. You pretty much remember totem spawns anyway so just run through them and get the unhook. If it happens that the totem is right next to the hook then it's just gg. Also Bloodwarden is a fun perk to run and go against and it just happens that NOED goes well with it.

If I had fun or had a good chase it doesn't matter if I got tunnelled to death at 5 gens. If it's been a boring match or otherwise unenjoyable I consider escaping a win. It depends. Some days every game is a win for me and some days no game ends in a win for me.

Most of the time "######### around and find out" works for both sides so eh. Can't remember when I last tryharded.

Even after the planned rework, the killer can just slug you for the minute the perk lasts. I use DS like 1/20 games I play as a survivor and I honestly can't remember when I've last gotten to use it just because I got slugged. I know the reason they're nerfing it because some survivor mains "abuse" it by getting in the killer's face/having Unbreakable and otherwise just being a nuisance but I believe that nerfing the perk isn't the correct way to go around this but rather figuring out how to punish the playstyle. Idrk tho, haven't played the game in high ranks for a while since I've been ######### around too much.

In my opinion the buff they gave it recently (bonus healing speed on a survivor in the dying state) is enough of a buff. I ran it before the buff too and now even more. It just rewards one kind of a game style more than others that you have other perks for (Prove Thyself, any chase/exhaustion perk etc.)

I unironically run No Mither as is quite a lot. Sometimes I also run it ironically with Self-Care or such. But honestly I think that without butchering the whole perk, the best idea would be to make it so that no one else in the game knows you have the perk. You wouldn't start injured but once you got injured, you would get the Broken status effect but as a kind of a secret. Since the biggest upside of No Mither is the ability to get up from the dying state as much as you're getting slugged no killer leaves you on the ground. If the killer doesn't know you have the perk, you'd actually get to use it sometimes. Another thing that you could do to change it a little is to up the percentages of how much the perk affects your grunts of pain to maybe even 100%. Or depending on what kind of a gameplay the devs implemented it for, you could maybe give it the kind of a effect Lightweight has on its own to make it more of a stealth perk. I've got lots of ideas for it but I'm afraid that a full rework is gonna completely butcher it cause I actually love the perk lol
