You mean because nobody will play survivor anymore after the changes of the upcoming patch that make maps more balanced? I highly doubt that will be the case though. If anything, killer and survivor queue times will become more equal again after the next patch.
I didn't mean upcoming patch, I meant the changes in this thread.

This can possibly help with latency issue and also Lag switching issue

Add these lines

Or maybe a killer could do some skill checks on a completed gen to regress it by a certain amount.

In case like this I just down one survivor and wait there till he bleed out and hit everyone that come close.

I'd prefer to modify Overcharge, when killer have Overcharge all gens have it from the beginning of the match and to dismiss it you have to hit that great skill check.

As this may be server issue, you can attach your log file when this happens it'll be easier to find which server is causing this issue. You can find it at C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs

I'm guessing it could be server load balance problem, it happened to me once.

Or give option like when you crawl up to someone you have an option to sacrifice yourself and the other person gets one life state.

In my opinion it's more like a matchmaking problem and not game mechanic.
I personally don't play killer often because I have to wait like 30 mins to find a match, but I have noticed it depend on how you play the game.
Once it'll find you a match with all new players with ranks 16-18 and kill all of them with one gen done, other time ranks 18-20 with all brand new parts, who escapes in less than 5mins .
And there is nothing you can do if some high rank create a new account to have fun.
