survivor find the hatch, they win, killer find the hatch they win, fair and balanced, if killer close the hatch, give a 200% repair speed buff to the survivor, if they manage to complete one gen, both doors and hatch open, noed won'T activate but adrenaline will, fair and balanced, LET US CLOSE THE HATCH!!!!!

Sounds fair to me #let killers kill

it takes like 30 seconds to repair a gen when 3 players are on it, so if there's 5 gens left (3 must be completed to be able to open doors) you have 30 seconds to repair a gen before the killer show up and the hatch AND gates are powered, i don'T see where it isn't balanced, the killer found it first, you must work for another way out, if you manage to repair 1 gen you can leave, noed won't work, need 2 hits to go down but if it's a 1 hit down with billy or else, i don'T think if you manage to repair 1 gen and have 2 gates open that you'll die at this point, you just run for it and you are out, if both doors are open it's almost a free win for you now.

The first version of the hatch closing function was good. It just needed two simple things: a base Left Behind effect (repair speed could be increased anywhere between 75% and 200%) and after X amount of seconds (maybe somewhere between 100 and 200 seconds), the Survivor’s aura is revealed to the Killer permanently in order to prevent the Survivor from going immersed and holding the game hostage.

But unfortunately the eight year old Scrubvivors whined and moaned because their free win was gone and got BHVR to give in again and change it so they had an easier win.

    yep.....

I liked it to where if the killer closed the hatch... they survivor was F'd... unless they had a key or could do a gen to reopen it.

THey are terrified to upset the millennials on the hatch closing thing.

Or because unlike you they know if they DO upset those people, it’ll just be 1) close hatch 2) last guy immersed forever.

    Yeah no

this why my idea actually give them a REAL chance to escape,

Someone proposed a great idea to me today.
What if killer could close the hatch but only for 30-60 seconds at a time with a cooldown of something like 10 seconds(to warrant for the chaos of a chase) in between. it would allow last surv to use hatch as a distraction while doing gens, or alternatively in the case of a standoff with surv at full HP this would occur:

Killer closes the hatch right when they arrive then hits surv. Surv has to evade for 30 -60 seconds(would need discussion on length). If surv successfully evades and makes it back to the hatch they can jump in without being interrupted (while its on the 10second cooldown) if they dont get there during the ten second cooldown but it hasnt been shut again then the killer can interrupt.

This would cause surv to be able to win anytime he found it, with a good lead on the killer, first. But would make it so if killer found it first with a full life surv he still has a chance, but not a guaranteed victory.

My only issue with this would be in the case of hatches being opened by key. Im not sure if the killer should have that power of closing in this case since things like franklins already exist to hard screw over map and key users.

i do not like the idea of having to close it over and over again to use it as a distraction, i'd rather close it once and find the last survivor as quickly as possible before they finish one gen then going back to it every minute.

Well, do you always want to use a medkit when you Self Care? Personally, I save the medkits for when I NEED a faster heal, and just use regular Self Care when I'm relatively safe.

?? dude that'S not what i mean, when you unhook and you take a hit, you want to unhook right away after the hit, but the game make you use selfcare instead, so you don'T unhook and you go down

  • @Doc_W__HOLLIDAY said:
No. The other survivors are already punished by the explosion alerting the killer.

yea but what if the killer is chasing someone? they keep repairing

  • Just because you play it weakly does not mean that she is weak. Her ability in good hands are pretty good, just like a nurse. You guys expect way to much after few hours of playing with her, take your time to discover all her possibility plays.

Hard to do so when you must wait 20 minutes to get 1 person in your lobby

It's still a PTB so they will probably change her stats or ability before the release, don't make your conclusion too early...

    why you copy paste?

    What, got problem with that?

    lack of originality

I can see you're just trying guiding people

    if you say so???

Putting in some hours trying to play her and every game i play ends with the same conclusion. The devs tell us to shutup and that our opinion doesn't matter because the killer is still new and "theres alot of mindgame potential" and while im playing I cant stop but think how the [BAD WORD] am I supposed to mind game someone i cant even see?

exactly how i feel about her, this killer would be great if we could see where they are

Do you wear headphones when you play? The audio that a survivor makes allows you to locate them. Do you watch the screen and the surroundings when you play? You can see the grass and footprints much like survivors have to do with Freddy. Do you stop chasing or fake her power? survivors may stop running or think you are actually moving and you can surprise them. There is plenty of ways to make her viable. People just have to learn them as they do Nurse.

and just saying, i am open to your points, i don't only stand on mine and think all you say is bullshit, i am open minded to your strategies, but i still really think even with all you said she really need a massive buff

    yes and yes

and nurse is way easier to learn since you can actually see where they are and you can teleport where they will go since you know this is where they are going and you can mind game going the other direction or also not hold your blink for too long to make them run right into you, yea i know what mind games is, but this killer rely way way way too much on mind games and also the scratch marks aren't that visible.

How about instead of adding your comment to a new feed, you find one and add the commentary there.

Anyway, She will be a top 5 killer. Her movement speed is balanced by her movement speed in Phase. Her power is not meant to be a straight killing power if that is what you meant. She is meant to be played by outsmarting your opponent not head on killing. So her perk is only useless to those who don't understand it. Lunge distance is nonexistent, but again it plays well with her power. Freddy is bottom still, wraith with his add-ons is super fast and very good. So put this killer under the big three but better than Clown so around Top 5 killer for skilled killer players.

Nonskilled killers will find her weak.

if i can get 80% of my games 4K with freddy i am skilled i believe, and freddy is by far superior to her, what is the point to mind game and be quicker if you have no idea where they go, yea you can mind game but you have to be lucky that they went where you went, if there's 3-4 directions they can go, and so can you, what tells you they went the way you went? i don'T see how her power is usefull, and even if they go in the same direction, you have to be really close to them since the lundge even with the speed bonus, is very very small, she need a massive buff.

  • @Zanfer said:
maybe instead of running in a straight line with her do some mind games

how can you do that without seeing them? you have to be lucky that they go in the same direction as you, it's not mind games, it's luck

  • nerf her??? dude she'S the worse killer ever in this game, she's slow and she has horrible lundge and her power is borderline useless, how could they nerf her even more? by taking it all away????

    this killer is total trash
