Injuring survivors is supposed to be impactful, and not something they can undo fast with basically no resources, like the old CoH. The new CoH is definitely more situational, but it can still be useful.
You could try bringing a medkit or Inner Strength if you want more consistent or faster heals. Or if you want something similar to old CoH, maybe the new perk Strength in Shadows. It's relatively fast heals without using up an item, you just need to be on a specific part of the map.

Ah, tier up imminent. Would be a nice thematic addition and wouldnt have that much of an effect on balance since Survivors have lots of info on the killer nowadays, and this would barely make a difference. If anything it would help deal with tombstone which I dont think anyone would argue against that.
While were talking about thematic changes.. can we please have the following come back?
Doctor Madness Effects (Make a photo sensitive option)
Spirit Shatter Blade (Was only on the PTB)
Huntress' Lullaby being replaced by heavy breathing while in chase, (helped synergize with stealth perks back in the day)
Ghost Face Shrouded SFX
Pyramid Head PTB Chase Music
Myers, Doctor, Demo, Oni POV Chase Music
Trickster PTB menu theme
(pretty pls BHVR?)
Huntress losing her lullaby when in chase actually makes her synergize with Beast of Prey hahah.

I love this sound design as well, but I think it was generally agreed upon it gave survivors too much info.
Michael has a smaller or non-existent terror radius in T1/T2, in order to allow him to approach without being noticed and stalk survivors before they can hide out of view to get to use his power. Having a loud audio cue kind of defeats the purpose. Especially with certain add-ons, it's really beneficial if survivors don't know if they've been stalked yet.

That's actually a good thing, they want to test crazy changes before they go live to see where stuff lands.
Of course it's good to test new changes, but a PTB like this is supposed to be a playable product. It's not like the finisher mori test, to see where it lands. There is also not that much time to implement too many changes and fixes in the 2-3 weeks before next patch goes live, across all the different platforms.
I am for sure glad players are able to identify bugs and problematic aspects before the actual update drops, but it doesn't really create confidence when there's this many that are this obvious.

I saw someone make a bug report on this, apparently you can't gain progress as of last patch.
edit: here's the report!

I recently discovered that this achievement is currently bugged and I can't get any more progress on it. The achievement "out of nowhere" were you have to "in a public match hit 40 survivors with a basic attack while you are undetectable" is bugged. I have currently got 16 of 40 before the chapter "All things Wicked" came out. No matter what killer or perks I run to make myself undetectable, and successfully landing a undetectable basic attack, the number for the progression does not go up. this is my final achievement to 100% the game. I've even had a friend to get on to my account to try it on there and and they are unable to do it either. I want to verify to make sure that this is something that is currently bugged after the recent Behavior DBD chapter "All things Wicked" came out.
Thank You

Thanks for reporting this! I feel like this happens most often on traps placed on pallets, and definitely on several maps. I think this started after the Unknown update.

I was really against this change at first, since you suggested making the perk a lot worse (not remembering the aura reveal) haha. But now I kind of see the idea. I still think this change is mostly for survivors, so their blind the killer challenges are not countered by a perk.
I would suggest not removing the ability to lunge, though. This would still keep killers unaffected by flashlights/blinds, which is why most people want to run it. Killers can also fake not having a lunge to fool survivors, and attentive survivors now have a chance to figure out you're running it.

Lightborn should not give an immunity to blinds. If I bring a full blind build lightborn shouldn‘t counter everything I brought. Otherwise survivours should have the same to counter powers and perks, because items are the survivors power. Before anyone says distortion, you still need stacks, which lightborn doesn‘t.
I mean that's a bit like bringing a medkit and healing build and going against Plague. Unfortunate, but doesn't mean we should rework her power because of that.

I think it's silly that it can create literally uncounterable situations for killer when used by a decent SWF of even 2 people.

I agree, it's awful we have another type of limited time FOMO cosmetic. They might come to store eventually after several years, but I don't think bhvr has said anything about it.
I'm also still upset they introduced limited time event cosmetics. Like, even if they come back next christmas or halloween or whenever, it's stressful and I think preying on people. Also a lot of these outfits used to be available all year.

If Im near the Survivor, I normally try to heal them a bit so they can recover faster but they instantly assume Im trying to fully pick them up when Im not trying to (since SoloQ is as SoloQ does).
Obviously doing a Generator is better but seeing someone Plot Twist gives me anxiety since Im worried they will get picked up.
One time when playing killer, a survivor Plot Twisted and I had no idea where until another survivor started healing him and I could see exactly where he was with A Nurse's Calling lmao. I didn't pick him up because I felt bad for him, but please don't heal your Plot Twisting teammates.

The people who would lobby dodge perks they don't like would just treat hidden perks as an "always dodge". That wouldn't fix that problem.
I feel like the benefits of being able to see your teammates' perks outweigh the occasional dodges that might happen.
-
I agree, and if people are worried about lobby dodging, they could simply add an option to "hide my perks" for survivors.

While the tactic of tunneling people out often feels cheap and bad to play against, I feel like only counting hook states removes a lot of macro gameplay and managing hook states on both survivor and killer side.
That said, a "win condition" is never defined by the game itself and can absolutely be personal or not the traditional 3 kills. I definitely wouldn't mind people setting personal winstreak goals that don't rely on kills. Going for 8 hooks can be more impressive even, since you're keeping all the survivors in the gamw for as long as possible.
