  • At tier 1 it will take 64 seconds to heal with self care, if these changes go live survivor is going to be unplayable for new players. I think the perk should be reworked entirely.

  • I like it for the faster unhooking speed alone. I actually wish the devs would get rid of the bonus healing speed and make it 25% per stack, so you'd have an omega unhooking perk

"camp a pallet when legion hits you with frenzy hit" - the problem with that counterplay is Julie's Mix Tape. I knew sooner or later that addon was going to be problematic, like new alchemist's ring addon for blight

How so? That addon gives your power back, but you shouldn't be able to start a new chain attack because the survivor is already affected by deep wounds.

At best you can force a pallet break if you pair it with Iri Button

  • The instadown is counterable. Camp a pallet and drop it as soon as he hits you with frenzy, it's a guaranteed stun which forces him out of his power

  • Tunneling should be incentivized more

Killers that keep the 3rd survivor on the ground for their entire bleed out timer just so they can try to find the 4th survivor is toxic and simply makes the game an unfun and annoying experience. Being kept on the ground for several minutes and not being able to do anything (unless you have no mither or unbreakable which no one should be forced to use all the time) is unfair. It makes absolutely no sense at all that survivors cannot fully recover over time. If a killer leaves you on the ground for over 2 minute, ESPECIALLY if you are the 3rd survivor and only the 4th is left alive, you should fully recover from the dying state naturally without the use of a perk. How does it make sense that survivors can wiggle off killers which removes the dying state but you can't recover being left alone on the ground back into the wounded state? I am sick of killers leaving us on the ground for what feels like forever so they can try to slug out a 4k. This needs to stop NOW! Give passive full recover to all survivors that are slugged for more than 2 minutes. Killers need to be punished for doing this. Its one thing to do it for a few seconds up to a minute to try to catch someone YOU SEE but to leave someone on the ground when the last survivor is nowhere near you is beyond pathetic and toxic. This needs to change and it needs to happen very soon.

Just allow survivors to kill themselves if they're left on the ground for 2 minutes if they don't want to be slugged. Giving them the ability to pick themselves up from the ground makes no sense

I recently learned from the "Game Rules & Report System" section of the forum, that camping is listed under actions which are "not considered bannable offenses" and thus should not be reported. This is a problem.

Camping goes against BHVR's own Terms of Use (viewable here: https://www.bhvr.com/terms-of-use/) Under Section E. "Rules of Conduct", it says it is a violation of the Terms of Use to "Interfere with the ability of others to enjoy playing a BHVR Service or take actions that interfere with or materially increase the cost to provide a BHVR Service for the enjoyment of all its users."

Singling out an individual player, hooking them, and then standing there until they die on first hook is absolutely interfering with others' ability to enjoy playing the game. This should be reportable, bannable, and BHVR should take steps to steer players away from this behavior through gameplay design. It is toxic, bad for the game, and feels an awful lot like harassment (often offending killers will even stand there and taunt you/swipe at you with attacks while you can do nothing. Mocking your inability to play and enjoy the game until you die with no recourse.)

Under that same "Game Rules & Report System" post, the stated goal is "to find the players who are creating a bad game experience and punish them appropriately, making the game a better place." Camping absolutely creates a bad game experience. I see it way, way more often recently than I have before and it needs to be addressed.

    LOL

  • If NOED was nerfed the same way CoH was, they would just reduce the movement speed bonus by 1% and call it a day

COH will remain meta and one of the best survivor perks in the game. Taking an additional 8 seconds to heal yourself (16 -> 24) or another 4 seconds to heal another (8 -> 12) means absolutely nothing.

Just to paint how useless this nerf is, in terms of killer time, you get an additional 2 seconds, or 1 second from this. That's it.

The main problem with this perk comes from how it gives the entire team fast and infinite self-heals, and can't be permanently destroyed by the killer. Until this part of the perk is addressed, I refuse to play killer.

It's actually much less than that, don't forget CoH gives a bonus to every healing action, then halves its speed if you heal yourself without a medkit. So the healing speed would be 1 x 1.75 x 0.5 = 0.875 charges per second, allowing survivors to heal themselves in 18.3 seconds. The nerf barely changes anything

  • I heard when a survivor injects the vaccine it gives bloodpoints in the objective category for the Nemesis

you want to nerf a mediocre perk that only works on killers like Freddy just so you can combo it with pop?

    yes

  • Just play Civilization
