Tested it on a custom match, I couldn't kill a zombie with head-on. I have received a hit each time.

Either a bug or a zombie was out of range. But Head On or a Pallet Stun should kill a zombie.
Zombie was definitely within range. I will test it with my friend multiple times when I get the chance to see if it's a common bug or a single case.

Doesn't it already kill zombies?
Used it on zombie. It didnt stun nor kill it. I have got hit by it instead.

I had enough fun in this game. I can move on to many titles that awaits me in my steam library
-
My fun survivor build:
-Flip-Flop
-Power Struggle
-Head-on
-Deception
My serious survivor build:
-Resurgence
-We will make it
-Borrowed time
-Balanced landing
I play a killer less often but when I do I pick:
-Starstruck
-Pop goes the weasel
-Discordance
-Bbq and chilly

This shouldn't need to be a perk, but a base effect of killers being around a hooked survivor while not in chase. Make the hook timer slow up to 90% based on the killer's proximity to the hooked survivor.
Don't waste your time @'ing me with 'SuRviVorS aBuSeD It in some obscure test years ago'.
Well, camping is a problem that's why something like this would be nice no matter how it would be implemented. No matter how ppl will call camping a strategy, it's no fun to play a game like this. I'm aware of the fact that survivors abuse that word, and tend to unhook others right after the killer finished his hooking but to say that this behavior is not common would be a lie.

Timer is paused for 10 seconds = 10 seconds longer on hook.
Timer gains 10 seconds = 10 seconds longer on hook.
Well, yea in the end it's the same result. But the thing is you cant stack those effects. Because you cant stack camaraderie right? Now you would have some synergy.

Its a similar effect that achieves the exact same goal of giving yourself more time on hook
Well there are many similar perks in dbd that can stack together, and I don't think stacking pausing timer with additional timer would be something game breaking.

I thought they were talking about this perk.
The thing about this perk is in the case of camping in the basement u won't pause the timer. And if you could buy additional 30 seconds, without the need of being near the hook it would work better than camaraderie.

So if you're not gaining time are you losing it?
Think about that for a minute....
Read my comment and think about it for a minute. Where I said the time is lost in the process. It's a similar effect.

i dont see the point
Hmm, I was rather clear on that. it's a different effect, pause not additional time, it works similar but it's not the same. Also, both those perk have different requirements. You need to unhook a survivor or heal him, you don't have to be near his hook location. I would rather use that out of those 2 possibilities.

Camaraderie/Kinship exists
Yea but the timer is paused, you are not gaining additional time.

Now equip Star Struck with a Lightborn that blinds survivors and it would be even more powerful, which would just increase the current meta of rushing gens even faster rather than wasting time to save teammates.
I don’t know about you, but I personally don’t want faster games.
Well, actually flashlight saves make the game faster since the killer lose momentum. I doubt that this perk would make survivors speedrun the game.
-
Well, all it does is make the survivor's flashlights useless. If that is busted then franklin demise is a god-tier perk, and don't get me wrong franking demise is hella strong but items are always just a supporting measure for survivors nothing more...well maybe not keys.

@Huge_Bush said:
It would be too strong. Survivors have to take a huge risk of getting close to the killer, getting blinded in return for trying to rescue a teammate will just get them killed. The perk is fine as it is.
Starstruck also punishes the survivors that are near the killer, so i think it would fit to the game construction. After all, you described it as taking a huge risk.

Part of the strength of the perk is that survivors don't realize immediately you have it and they get stubborn trying. I feel like the suggested change would effectively work as a nerf in practice.
It's true in some cases even after many tries they don't realize that the killer has lightborn but still especially in high mmr games they know it almost immediately, so the blind would confuse them.

@Rey_512 said:
Never gonna happen. It would make the game “unfun” for survivors.
There are better perks that make the game even less fun for survivors so I think they would bear it somehow :>

i have an idea if a generator is completed the perk activates for 30 second to use it press the active ability button and then the survivor pushes the killer stunning the killer
I'm afraid that the killer would be bullied hard with that perk :(

I'm not for placing a totem just anywhere, that's a bit much. Preassigned places (not one of them in the great, wide open for the ISS to see), however, now we're talking. I also suggest for it to take 8sec to clean rather than the usual 12; it is a bonus totem, after all.
That vulture is pretty neat, what's the cooldown on it? 120 seconds?
Territorial Protection needs more than 4sec, without a doubt. It takes about that time just to leave the tile.
Yea I agree, too much freedom in placing totems would be too broken, so preassigned places sound cool to balance that, but still, there should be plenty of those places for those totems to not be easy to find. I'm also worried about how his early game would look like since, without his totem buffs, he would only rely on the eagle. Maybe eagle should slow down survivors? What do you think?
Yeah, I forgot about cd 😅120 seconds sounds reasonable since this ability would be pretty strong.
I was thinking of it, like a short-range bbq against survivors who hid somewhere near the gen location but yea now that I'm thinking of it it's pretty weak even with a short movement speed bonus. You are on a better track with it, it should have been just longer, with longer effect ms wouldn't be necessary.
