  • They've already talked about adding objective icons to the survivor portraits, so this is something that's on their radar. Just depends on if it will be officially roadmapped or not

  • FOV techs are funny though.

  • No, but I like that survivors can bless the same totem over and over, unlimited tbh.

Most don't want to waste the time hunting for a new totem, so you can almost always find them in the area of the boon you just snuffed when you hear it get placed again. It makes survivors so predictable and easy to find.

Making it so they continuously move the boon around is going to remove that predictability. Also, for any hex gamers, it'll significantly up the odds of the hex getting found even faster because survivors will start just seeking out other totem spawns to use later when the totem is broken.

  • As a survivor, I genuinely don't care. Play how you enjoy. Is it always the best play for the team overall? Honestly, no. But if I die because of it, I'll be in the next match in a few minutes, so it's not a big deal in the grand scheme. You do you; have fun!

As a killer, when I see another survivor sandbagging a hiding survivor, I'll just only down the sandbagger and nod at the one hiding in the locker as I walk away with the sandbagger. It causes SO MANY early game DCs, but honestly, people who try to ruin how others want to play bugs me way more than people just playing differently than I would does.

  • DH is clearly stronger. The amount of versatility it offers can't be matched.

But Sprint Burst is more fun.

I guess maybe I'm still learning to survive around him.. :'(

A trick I learned was to stop and wait a second for the hunt chains to spawn, dodge them, and then you have enough time before the next group of chains to start solving it.

I think plaything showing a debuff is fair because it would be difficult to know how you are oblivious otherwise. Lightborn does reveal the aura of survivors who attempt blinding so i guess it makes sense it would show a debuff.

It wouldn't be difficult to know you're oblivious because you have the oblivious status effect icon above the hexed icon.

It's just more weird to me that other hexes don't do this? Like third seal also applies a status effect, but doesn't give a debuff icon.

It's also weird to me that lightburn only shows as a debuff when it counters RE perks, but not flashlights.

  • honestly, they should just skip this month's rank reset until this is fixed. we're getting kicked back further than the reset would do to us anyway. and killers can just enjoy being able to grind for higher rank longer.

  • Literally just made an account to say I love this.

I'd actually use OoO if it were like this. How it is now is scary and tunnel-baiting; this would make it a stronger information perk and not as high risk.

For the first part, I'm reading it similarly to how distortion functions; where it can be an information perk on what perks the killer has. That aspect won't be on cooldown based on the details, correct? It'll just be periodically throughout the match your aura will be revealed that has the cooldown?
