Increase Killer FOV please
there're a lot of shenanigans that survivors can pull abusing the Killer FOV where they can escape me by running directly at me, or staying as close to me as possible.
that seems pretty jank, tbh, since if someone tried that IRL i'd definitely see them. XD it's this kind of nonsensical gameplay that just feels exploitive and not very fun.

i don't want to have to run a perk just to see ppl directly in front of me XD that's so unnecessary.
FOV techs are funny though.
Shadowborn and Monitor
they're funny because everyone knows they're a silly exploit of the game design. it's really immersion breaking.
anyway, that's my feedback.
Waste a perk and get blinded by flashlights, awesome solution.
there's sort of degrees here. being able to see slightly in front of my own chest is not the same as instadowning ppl.
what we're saying is, the effect of being able to see in front of me should be basekit. feel free to rework any affected perks accordingly. no, i don't think this is a special ability deserving of a perk slot. killer vision is daft. and look, i'm not saying i need to see all things around me. fine. just, i dunno, right in front of my damn face. XD
FOV perks do NOT stack.
It's a waste of a perk slot because it shouldn't be tied to a perk in the first place. It's like having to use a perk to be able to play fullscreen. A FOV should be an option in the settings, not used as a cheap false difficult BS.
It is jank and nonsensical. But this unfortunately is one of those things where people think that because you have to put lots of time and experience into pulling off these mindgames, it's skillful and should stay as is. If any other game had fundamental fov problems this bad, it would be laughed out of the market. Who wants to play a game where you can't even rely on sight?
Please, please do, I feel like i have tunnel vision whenever i play Hag, have you ever played as a gnome wearing binoculars who's always crouching in tall grass?
Unfortunately, gen slow down is basically mandatory. If killers got like 9 perks or something I could see the argument; but they get far less than survivors do and every second they spend having lost someone due to their inhumanly small FOV is four seconds for the survivors to do gens.
Yeah. You want to talk about little changes that can drastically improve the killer experience, this is one of them.
Let's beta test this thing and see what it gonna be, just like they did in arbitrary not needed wiggle buffs that can totally not change game balance.
