DS is the definition of passively oppressive. It doesn't even have to actually be in the game to force you to play a certain way; because it's so strong you are required to assume survivors have it at almost all times.
If you say so, I have games where there is an obsession but most killers don't care and will tunnel anyway even if they get with ds

Hey guys, I think it´s time for some positivity and love in this forum :D
There has been a lot of nice changements this year, I am really happy about. I think there has never been so many changes like this year. Would like to hear what you boys and girls think about :)
Please be so kind and don't start any discussions or hateful speeches here. Everyone has his owh opinion and can post it here. Thanks in advance and have a nice time <3
To start with I dont know what my favourite changement is, cuz I love all the new killers, the map and perk reworks. If I had to choose one, Id decide for the doctor rework. Since his release the doctor is one of my favourite killers and since his rework I like to play with and against him even more *-*
I liked bubba rework, and I'm excited for clowns. Hopefully plague gets looked at soon

I absolutely despise the experience playing as them with a controller now.
I’m still bewildered how I even got the Adept at all. Luck I suppose.
The high volume of missed pounces because of how easily Victor is dodged by survivors is mentally breaking me, and I regret investing BP beyond simply unlocking their teachables.
I’ve watched videos.
I’ve taken on board advice after advice on these forums.
I practice. I be patient.
Nothing works reliably. Survivors in red ranks are dodging pounce last moment 90% of the time, or hug a tight, tiny loop that Victor can do nothing about. Kick kick kick. Crush crush crush. Some games are STILL games where ZERO pounces land at all, making Victor entirely pointless. I am sick of it, and have only persisted due to the delusion that the experience would get better eventually, and that my money wasn’t wasted.
If you are someone coping just fine with The Twins with either a PlayStation or Xbox controller, good for you. More power to you.
But for me these abysmal, frustrating killers are going in the trash 🗑
Idk how you can't land pounces. I try so hard to dodge victor and even though he clearly misses I still get hit it's frustrating

With all these threads about Ruin+Undying being boring, I figured it was time for a killer perspective that did that same thing.
How often do you deal with those though? I play solo queue a lot and play killer quite a bit too but I rarely see this combo, but I see ruin+undying a lot heck I use it myself on plague and it's so cheap lmao
-
The issue is that when I go up against a top tier/high mobility killer like blight or spirit, it becomes SUPER opressive, especially in a solo queue environment (which is how I play 90% of the time)
I run small game to help but I'm usually the only one running a perk like this and the only one doing totems so it becomes very awful to deal with.
I've adapted but again in solo queue against top tier killers running this build it's annoying and oprressive

No you mean that due to gen speeds, map design and survivor perks that actually putting pressure on the map is fully reliant on survivor mistakes. So killers have adapted the most efficient strat to deal with that.
Try and pressure a good 4 man while not tunnelling, not getting a 3 gen, not securing a kill (essentially 12 hooking) on a mediocre map with mediocre tile RNG. You wont get more than 1 kill.
I understand that killing someone early and 3 genning against a bunch of solos is completely overkill, and myself also dislike killers who sweat against a bunch of babies when the don't need to.
But saying that killers are doing this because they're bad against good people is just wrong.
What do you want done about gen speeds? 80 sec on a gen is boring as this is coming from someone who does the equivalent of 3-4 by himself in solo queue so I don't want them to be longer. Map design I can see but they're getting better, and when killers tunnel, camp, and slug alot survivors are gonna use those perks a lot so idk what to say. I personally hate those perks but oh well killers tunnel me a lot so I have no choice
-
I find survivor more stressful cause I play solo queue. Killer however is way easier to me

Still your argument of "not much slowdown tbh" seems pretty empty given that load out, just because you don't run the most popular ruin+undying.
"Not much slowdown" I run one slowdown perk. When I say "not much slowdown" I mean running multiple slow down perks like a lot of killers I go up against do. I see a lot of corrupt+ruin+undying, now that's a lot of slowdown

Isn't pop already number 2 on the gen regression/slow down scale? Additionally coupled with brutal?
I play plague so it's good and again it's the only slow down I use. I use brutal not cause of pop but it makes it easier to break pallets in a chase since plague can't really mind game

Well you probably didn’t read what I wrote then.
You must be using a gen slow down focused approach.
My normal build on plague is Brutal, BBQ, Blood Echo and Pop. Not much slow down tbh

You can all complain about slugging all you want, but the truth of the matter is the way this game is designed means at red ranks (even purple ranks) a killer has 3 choices when it comes to approaching load out and match strategy.
1) Slow repairs down as much as possible in a literal, direct way.
2) Find as many ways as possible to keep survivors that are out of a chase either indisposed or as preoccupied as possible with other tasks.
3) Find ways to save as much time as possible. Usually shortened chase times, and shortened times between ending one chase and finding a new survivor.
None of the above are exclusive of each other. A killer can be doing a combination of any of the above, or specialise in one approach only. Slugging falls in the middle of 1 & 2. It’s a pretty much mandatory approach when a killer has too few tools to do the direct gen slow down/direct gen pressure strategy, or simply chooses not to do an obnoxious “forever repair” approach.
You can complain how “boring” or “toxic” slugging is all you like. You know what’s “boring” for killers? 4 gens popping in the space of only 2 short chases and 2 hooks. I’m not blaming the survivors directly. The game allows you to do this. It allows you to do obnoxious, infuriating stuff like tap a regressing gen mid chase. It takes 15ish seconds to carry someone to a hook, and an unhook is done in an instant. 15 seconds is actually a lot of time in DBD to NOT be looking for another survivor to chase.
So sorry, but with the way the game allows survivors to play this game, Killers have to either slow down gens, waste your time, or slug a lot.
Pick your poison.
Uh not really? I play at red ranks and don't camp tunnel or even slug and tend to 3 and 4ks quite consistently

Any particular builds, or ideas?
I don't have dead hard and have some problems looking behind me for starters.
Idk what to tell you tbh. Some of the newer killers just bypass loops and give you no choice in a chase so just get lucky I've been doing
-
Man I sure love zig zagging against death slinger for him to free zone me, PH to still hit me cause his free zoning, zig zagging victor to still get hit cause his of his enormous hitbox, and zig zagging blight and still getting hit cause of that stupid lunge. But you guys zig zagging is counterplay LMAOOO

No seriously, tell me. What's wrong with that kind of representation. When Jane Romero (Latin American), Zarina Kassir (Lebanese), Yui Kimura (Japanese), Felix Richter (German) and Élodie Rakoto (French Madagassian) were added to the game, everyone was just all fine and dandy, like any person with a brain would be. Representation is nice, it's important to us. As soon, however, as a hypothetical LGBTQ+ person even begins to be discussed, all I see are angry casual people complaining about it.
"Muh horror, no relationships"
So should we just absolutely void and remove the pre-existing straight relationships that are already in the game like Felix and Nurse? Or are gays exclusively not allowed?
And before you start typing "I don't care, as long as they don't rub it in our face" and as much as I HATE that kind of response, I think that goes for just about everyone. Behaviour has to remember to make them an actual character.
As some one who is LGBT him self I don't like the idea cause I know no matter what they'll be a token character since they'll be our only established lgbt character which I don't want

I agree so much, on my post about nerfing moris was the worst thing bhvr could do somebody replied with it was a simple number change. Yeah if making it 2 hooks and not 1 a simple number change how about we make a simple number change of sprint burst and dead hard from 60,50,40 to 150,120,100 or simply make them a 1 time use perk that would balance thks way too fricking survivor sided game. (Obviously what I wrote is if it's a simple number change on moris let's make a super simple change for the entitled survivors things too and see what they feel when bhvr decides to torture every killer main that exists) (Obviously I main killer. )
What are these suggestions lmaoooooo.

We got to stop using DS before they nerf it. So let’s hold off for a while and the DS pick rate can go down. Switch DS with “For the people” so the killer still thinks DS is in the lobby.
I will once tunneling gets addressed. I rather use perks I enjoy like deception but can't cause I'm forced to run these perks like ds

Adding to this, I was also running Prove Thyself, which gives bonus points for co-op repairs. It worked when I played without it, and I think when I repaired solo while running it. My guess is that the bonus points cause the challenges to break. Toolboxes too maybe?
Okay maybe that's it cause I was running prove thyself so that could be it. I was doing gens solo too but I guess having prove thyself cucked me lol but I'll try and see if it helps
